Ive always love the Ariel GTS but the colors leaves much to be desired. Those who wear the Ariels want to be fashionable also and your shoes can add a pop of color to any outfit. All the other Brooks running shoes comes in fun and fresh colors like bright oranges, Army green, bright blues etc. so why cant the Ariels have the same colors? A all white shoes would be great too because it goes with everything.

The shoes are comfortable, toe box is good and fits nice around my ankle. The cushioning and arch support are limited, I use an orthotic insert which helps tremendously. I like the flat shoe strings, they are easy to tie and stay tied. The color is advertised as black but in the sunlight has a definite blue-tint, not a major issue. Overall I like the shoes, have been wearing them for a month with no issues.

These are the most comfortable shoes Ive ever owned. I have a wide foot and the wide size fit perfectly. So far Ive used for walking.

While I typically love Brooks running shoes, I do not like this Ariel version. It's a really heavy shoe as far as any other running shoe I've owned (and I buy a lot). The laces are ridiculously short also. This is unfortunately not a shoe I would come close to recommending. I use it for walking rather than the running I purchased them for. Really disappointed overall.

They are ok, not as comfortable as other shoes I have purchased. However what I really don't like is the description says black. however in daylight it's actually navy blue with a black tongue and laces. So the look is not very good.

The Ariel 20 was the last reliable edition of this sneaker after a decade of use. Its devastating for an active wide-width walker. The insole on this edition is dramatically alteredflat and hard and I actually ended up replacing them with the much cushier and comfortable old model insole. The frame of the shoe barely matters now that I understand how much the insole defined the comfort of the shoe. No longer a loyal customer.

In the last 5 years, Brooks has been my go to shoes. But this pair hurts my left outer foot, so bad, I dont wear them much. The right I have no problem with. I normally would order Brooks Arial 20 in an 8 Wide, never had trouble. Maybe this particular shoe is not the replacement for what I normally get, I am open to suggestions.

I work 12 + hours at a time as a nurse. I am constantly on my feet. These shoes are the best cushioning combined with supportive shoes I have found. I tend to supinate and the Ariel GTS 24 gives me the support I need in that respect. I usually wear less supportive shoes out in less than 2 months. I get 6 months or more from these. Please make the women's version in all black.

I am not sure why Brooks does this, but Repeatedly only the ugliest versions of Brooks shoes are available in narrow widths.

Planters fasciitis has caused me to only wear this shoe, for about a decade now. Best support ever. The 24 is a little snugger in the tongue area than the 23 model, but I still like the fit.

Ariel GTS 24 marks my 10th pair of Ariel! I love the new color and the fit of the new design. I have fairly large bunions so having EE as a width option is icing on the cake. Thank you, Brooks!

My sister-in-law suggested this brand for plantar fasciitis so I ended up with this style. Its so comfortable. My foot hurts so much less when I wear these. I think I found a new favorite after wearing ASICS for many years! They are expensive but so worth it, for me, anyway.

Poor SupportGreat Support
these shoes were bigger than the other 81/2 (more like a size 9 ) size ariels i have worn....after a short time wearing them my one foot had a lot of pain on the inside of my foot and i have never experienced this before with brooks ariel tennis shoes. usually i can wear these shoes all day every day and feel very comfortable
this was very disappointing....maybe brooks has changed their sizing or something but it is not good for me....
I'd also recommend:
this is the only brand of shoe i can wear for walking

Tried wearing them once, disappointed in the fit, I have the BROOKS Ghost shoes the same size (13 M) womens, and the ARIEL 13M is smaller, shorter on toe. I thought with the same brand the fit would be the same. Also the foot pad in the Ariel is bumpy which I find annoying since they hit under toes awkwardly, not comfortable. Im returning them. I used your test size guide quiz and the BROOKS shoes recommended dont come in womens 13. I hope you can fix this issue.

Very comfortable and supportive. They have more of a boxy tongue in the shoe compared to some of the other Brooks shoes I have worn, so I had to get used to that. Overall, I am loving the look and the comfort of the Ariel GTX!

I liked the overall look on my feet; however its a tight fit, although its my normal size, 10.5. I saw that its made in Vietnam, my experience with the Eastern manufacturers is that they make a smaller size.
