My doctor recommended these to me after having a lot of foot, knee, and back pain while walking to school. I also have collapsed arches which makes my ankles turn inward. These shoes have completely changed my daily life. I'm not completely pain free and I'm still getting custom orthotics to help even more, but it was a dramatic difference from my last shoes. They're extremely comfortable (the huge amount of cushion really reduced my pain) and I noticed an automatic shift in my ankles - much closer to normal. I also really love how they look (I have the beige ones). They go nicely with all my outfits since I mostly wear earth tones, they're very neutral. I highly recommend these if you're having similar problems to what I was having.

So disappointed in these shoes! They're uncomfortable even when not standing. I size up half size in running shoes so I can use insert. These are too small for that. Too tight and hard in toe box, press on big toes, too hard interior heel; feels like no cushion at all, have to lace too tight to keep heel from slipping. I loved my addiction and my trace and my ghost but these are unwearable - so exhausted with having to return to companies I could previously depend on to get it right. Why make it smaller and harder when the description says "most cushioning" and calls it similar to the Addiction?

This is the shoe I didn't know I needed. I wanted a softer feel under foot for my old, tired, flat, over pronating feet and initially tried a different Brooks model, but although wonderfully soft, it lacked the support I needed. Consultant at the Brooks help line recommended another model, but that one also seemed to lack the support I needed. Although described as a firm shoe, I decided to try the Ariel. The Ariel feels supportive through the entire length of my foot. It's not a plush, soft feel, but a comfortable and supportive feel. Due to my low arch and over pronation, most shoes lack support I need in the mid foot and this shoe is the only one I have found that has support exactly where I need it the most, without feeling hard. I have a wide ball and narrow heel and ordered my usual size in a wide width, which I don't normally do because wide width shoes are always too wide in the heel and mid foot, but this shoe hugs my heel and mid foot while giving the ball of my foot the room it needs.

These shoes have great cushion and support, but they slip on my heals. I wear a womens size 9 wide (D-width) in Ghosts and they fit great. I used the fit guide quiz to land on the Ariel GTS 24, and the heals slipped with every step. I returned them for a pair of the new Ghosts and they dont slip at all.

I would really like an all black shoe -- black on the sides of the sole as in one iteration of the Beast, and a black stripe

I love all my Brooks but these are extra comfortable. Brooks gave me my life back when I had plantar fasciitis and I don't wear any other shoes.

I usually wear size 7 in trainers. Brooks recommended I size up to 7-1/2, and they were right. I have high arches so I replaced the insoles with orthotics, and now the shoes are perfect for me. They are so comfortable! The excellent support system keeps my left foot and ankle from rolling inward. No more pain when I walk or run. I used to wear ASICS for overpronation and they never felt right. I will buy Brooks from now on.

Ariel GTS 24 I hoped to love these. I have had Brooks Adrenalin and Brooks Ghost. I have plantar fasciitis and metatarsal pain. I need great arch support. Ariel GTS 24 have only mediocre arch support. Additionally, they have not helped with the metatarsal pain at all. I am very disappointed in them.

I work 12 + hours at a time as a nurse. I am constantly on my feet. These shoes are the best cushioning combined with supportive shoes I have found. I tend to supinate and the Ariel GTS 24 gives me the support I need in that respect. I usually wear less supportive shoes out in less than 2 months. I get 6 months or more from these. Please make the womens version in all black.

These are so comfortable, and give so much support. I have really flat feet and these help keep me in line without having to put in additional arch support.

The Brooks Ariel GTS 24 is a game-changer for anyone needing extra stability and support. These shoes are incredibly comfortable, with cushioning that keeps my feet feeling great even after hours of walking or standing. The fit is perfect, and the motion control design has made a noticeable difference in reducing foot and knee pain. Theyre durable, stylish, and perform beautifully. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for the perfect blend of support and comfortworth every penny!

I wish it were available in black in my size, 6D. The toe bed is wide enough and the rise in the heel is great for my plantar fasciitis. I have worn Ariels with my orthodics for a number of years now, but this pair is too shallow in the heel, and my heel rises up from the shoe when I walk. It doesnt work for me.

I have bought DOZENS of Ariel shoes over several years. Over time I've had to go up a half size. With this newest version, I'm going to have to go up another half size as the toe box is smaller and more tapered - even in a wide width. My big toe is being rubbed. I held the 24 up to a new pair 23's I still had in the box and the 24 is definitely smaller. Why does a new edition get tweaked so much? If it ain't broke, don't "fix" it!

These are fine. I like the 23's better. The 23's have a wider toe box and for me the 23's are just more comfortable.

Great fit for a wide forefoot because of baby toe bunion. Good cushion. Always wear Brooks neutral. Ghost 15 was perfect but not 16. Decided to give GTS a try. Ariel fits similar to Ghost 15. But it forces my feet to land in an unnatural way. Ended up with severe pain in one foot/ankle that's easily injured. Other foot was OK. Will stick to neutral. Brooks you rock -- exceptional customer service and return policy.

Disappointed because something in the shape of the shoe bed caused the tip and side of my big toe to press up against the shoe. I tried 11 w and 12 w and it happened with both even tho the 12 was loose. Otherwise it was a comfortable shoe. I wear Adrenaline 22 GTS and this doesn't happen but I am hoping a different shoe will help decrease knee and hip pain.
