I’ve been wearing the Brooks Ariel for many years. My last pair was purchased a little over a year ago, I had also purchased another pair (different brand) so I’d have a pair to.interchange with. I love my Brooks Ariel’s and ended up wearing them exclusively. I just received a new pair for Christmas from my daughters. I have wide feet, bunions and hammer toes…. (thanks mom! ) these shoes fit me so well and are comfortable to wear ALL day!! Sincerely, a happy, satisfied customer!

I am a walker, not a runner but need good support. I was introduced to Brooks years ago after a minor knee surgery. Recently had a knee replacement and continue to use my favorite model, Ariel,GTS for max support and comfort. I feel secure and balanced as I learn to walk with the new knee.

I have an extremely hard foot to fit. Pronation especially on left, flat feet, on and on. Brooks brand has become my one and only. Wish the color was a true white as that seems to be what is in right now and I still like to be somewhat on trend. I like the fabric, makes for a light weight shoe and it’s breathable so to keep your feet from getting hot and sweaty.

I usually wear size 7 in trainers. Brooks recommended I size up to 7-1/2, and they were right. I have high arches so I replaced the insoles with orthotics, and now the shoes are perfect for me. They are so comfortable! The excellent support system keeps my left foot and ankle from rolling inward. No more pain when I walk or run. I used to wear ASICS for overpronation and they never felt right. I will buy Brooks from now on.

Liked the shoe, but it was too wide in the toe box. i ordered my normal size for Brooks shoes, but maybe the Ariel GTS 24 runs wider than some other models.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks and discontinued model of New Balance

I really love the Ariels - my ortho doc says they're exactly what I need for my flat feet. My biggest complaint is there aren't enough colors/designs in the wider widths. Just because I have wide, flat feet doesn't mean I don't want pretty shoes for work (healthcare)!

Great support, balance and Cushing!!! Love then, I just wish they would have more colors then 3 colors only.... I had adrenaline, glycerin, and the ghoast. None of them fit as well as the Ariel. I work on my feet for over 12 hours straight and need good, comfortable shoes with same fashion!!!!!!

The shoes are wonderful. They fit my feet and provide the support I need. HOWEVER, the laces are much too short. I had a pair of Ariel 20's, which were great. Laces were long enough for someone who cannot have laces very tight. These, are frankly ridiculously short unless you want your shoes very tight on your feet. As I have arthritis in my feet, that isn't an option.

I was advised by my podiatrist to purchase Brooks. Tried several styles and these are my favorite. These shoes got me through plantar fasciitis. Great cushion and stability. Only negative is there are only 3 colors. Please make these in other colors!!

I don't run, but I have severe over-pronation that results in chronic tendonitis, to the point where if I don't get enough support, I can't walk. I have expensive orthotics from the podiatrist, but even they don't help if the shoe doesn't have enough support. I have had to ditch all my favorite shoes and have tried multiple brands and expensive, ugly orthopedic shoes with mixed results. I found an article from an orthopedist about exactly the type of tendonitis I get (posterior tibial) and they suggested this shoe, so I sighed and took out my credit card again, fully expecting it to be a waste. It was not a waste. I LOVE these shoes. I have to stop myself from wearing them every day. I don't even need my orthotics or brace most of the time! No pain! It is INCREDIBLE. I wish I had the money to buy them in every color. And I wish they came in more colors! Please never ever discontinue this shoe, Brooks.

As others have commented, the tongue and laces are a bit short, but not an insurmountable issue. Otherwise, wide toebox and great stability are what I wanted ... and what I always get from this series.

These have even more support than the adrenaline gts. I am switching to these but I wish they had more color options.

The Ariel GTS 24 brooks shoe has the best overall stability and cushion comfort of any of the Brook shoes styles I have worn. I highly recommend this Ariel GTS 24 shoes!

I was looking for a shoe that my feet wouldnt be sore by the end of the day. These are perfect. I am on concrete all day walking and by the end of the day, my heels would be super sore, but these have cushion and I like how theres cushion around the ankle as well. I got a wide, and my feet feel perfect in it. Usually, my pinky toe is always rubbing.

Ariel gts has been my go-to show for many years. This current iteration is not my favorite for two reasons. 1) the black is not black. Its more dark grey. Please bring back the black and more color choices! See photo comparing current black with the Ariel 23 black. 2) the toe box is slightly tighter in its height. The fabric seems tighter or perhaps more taut so it pushes more against the top of the toe than my previous pairs. It may run a tad more narrow in the toe due to the shape but Im not certain.

This size was a good fit. I am needing a 12.5 but this works with my insert. Its a very good looking shoe. Thanks for being so helpful and allowing exchanges.

It has great support and soft. However, it wasn't the right fit for me, I'm returning them. I had my left big toe joint fused with a metal plate and screws. The shoe rubs the outside of that toe making it sore. This is not the fault of the shoe. I would definitely recommend this shoe to someone who needs support and wants comfort.

Supportive shoe. Comfortable. Some blah colors this round of shoes. The black are nice but the shoestrings seem short.

I have 3 pair of Brooks sneakers all 8 1/2 wide. They fit my wide feet very well. I ordered these in the same size and the end by toes is more of a hard material and they were a little too short. The half size bigger is perfect.

I have bought and tried a lot of sneakers. These are the top winner!! I bought a Etra Wide AND they fit like a wide. They have i high/wide toe box. I wanted a fun color, which you can never find in a wide. I fell in love with the Coconut/Chateau/Portabella neutral color. 100 Star Rating!!

Wanted to love these but they were too short. I ordered my usual size and my toes were hitting the front of the shoe. I have been wearing the Adrenaline GTS for years but recently I have been disappointed so I decided to try a new style. I think a half size up would be better for me in the Ariel GTS 24 but I'm too lazy to reorder and pay shipping again.
