This is actually a really good shoe but I have a pretty wide foot so I ordered the 2E width. Normally a 2E shoe fits me good. This GTS24 is just a bit too snug right where my foot is widest, from the base of my big toe directly across to the base of my little toe, inside of foot to outside of foot. This is why a rated the shoe only 3 stars. The quality of the shoe is very good and I love the strong support the shoe provides up the back from the heel and all around the top of the shoe just under the ankle. The shoe also looks very good.

The cushion is hard. I like the Adrenaline 24 better, go with it if you have to choose only one.

It is a beast! I wanted a shoe with support, but this is a bit too firm for me. The upper material as well as the sole is also stiff and not as flexible as the Glycerin e.g.

This is my second pair of Brooks. The first pair was outstanding - the best running / walking shoe I had ever owned. This pair is not of the same quality. After a few weeks the left inside heal is already worn and splitting. Disappointing.

I have been running and walking in the Beast for many years. I did not notice a big difference between the new one and the last one. I must say that I have always been disappointed in the length of the tongue. When I use all the eyelets there is so little room that the laces often get mixed in together. I notice this in any number of athletic shoes, so you are not the only one. The quality is always fine in your products and I appreciate that you have extra wide choices, at least in the Beast.

the back edge of this shoe is so low that you have the constant feeling that they will come off your feet. Not a reassuring feature for older men with balance issues. Yes waste of money.

Decided to try these over another brand due to more cushioning. The cushioning is great however the foot stability is definitely lacking and noticing inversion of my foot with walking.

Having been a huge fan of Beast 20, I am disappointed with Beast 24. Overall, they are fine except for the stiff part by the toes. If you need the extra space by the toes, this shoe is not for you. Brooks, please go back to whatever you did with the front of the Beast 20, that was best.

Feel different in just a year. Been wearing Beasts for years and loved them. Fit my duck feet and provided the support necessary to run. Something has changed though. Don't feel as comfortable. Narrower in that my foot doesn't feel as comfortable as previously. Support is there but it's not comfortable as any other Beast model. The color choices are ridiculous too for 4E. I'm going to shop elsewhere next round if Brooks doesn't fix it.

Just a few weeks in and the rubber nubs are almost gone under the ball of my foot, after about 60 - 70 miles of walking. Almost zero wear everywhere else.

I've worn different versions of the Beast for YEARS and unfortunately I was disappointed with the 24 version. It does have good support from the guide rails. The upper has good breathability. However, the cushioning wasn't as good as previous versions. My knees and ankles take a pounding on my daily 6 miles. Also, the shoulders around the shoe opening seem to be a bit higher and rub along the bottom of the ankles. And finally the outsole doesn't seem that durable (was also my complaint about the Beast 23). I do exercise on a black top road and that surface is definitely rough on outsoles but the front half of the outsoles wear down quickly. This wasn't the case in earlier versions. It is a good shoe, just not as good as earlier versions.

Overall the build and quality seems like Brooks's typical greatness. I was supposed with this version of Beast how tight they are on the sides. It's considerably tighter on width than older versions of Beast. So much I had to check to ensure they both said the were "Med"ium.

Comfortable to wear and walk in all day; look is nice; not a good running shoe for me. Why: because the toe box is narrow at the toe and both outside edges of my largest toes rub the shoe. Shoe is not too short, just had a weird angle around the toe area, last years model didn't fit like that. Seems like the shoe has a weird angle around the toe area causing rubbing. That's what I don't like about shoes that change too much in design/shape/comfort as the models progress. Engineers try to make it better and cheaper to make for same selling price, but you always get a weird flaw as a result that varies by person. Some will say they are great, perfect, and some will say there is an issue or they don't like them. Previous pair of beasts didn't last long, inner heel material tore apart from friction rubs, outside edges of heel wore out really fast and at a bad angle causing feet and ankles to roll outwards. Didn't get very many miles From last pair. Thought I would give these 1 more try in a newer model and see how it goes. I will say I'm not impressed of the build quality, figment for the money. Not worth it. Obvious decline in insole quality also.

Very supportive and looks great. Unfortunately my left big toe rubs on the side of the shoe making it uncomfortable. It isn't that the shoe is too small, it's the side of my toe that is rubbing. I've had many pairs of prior Beast models and I have never had this issue. Maybe I got a defect? The other issue I am having is that there is an elastic "gusset" attaching the inside part of the tongue to the base of the shoe. This elastic pulls the tongue in that direction as I wear them making the tongue "drift" to the inside (meaning it is never centered on the top of my foot) In general, the shoe feels great when I am just standing, but when I walk the rubbing toe issue makes me not love these. The drifting tongue I can live with ....

Started off purchasing 1 pair to see how they compared to my husbands other beast shoes. He thought they were okay and we ordered another pair in a different color. The 2nd pair fit completely different in a good way. They were bigger though the same size in fit and now he won't wear the originals because the fit of the 2nd pair fit better. So sizing is inconsistent and for the price that shouldn't be a problem. Now I'm scared to buy more because I don't know how they will fit and because he wore them and time I'm stuck with them.

These are actually comfortable shoes. The low rating stems from the fact that I bought them to try as a new all day walking shoe (I stand all day at work). I have 4E wide feet and the shoe accommodated them nicely but my foot seemed to "slide" around and the balls of my feet started to hurt. The Addiction Walker 2 are still my go to ( on my third pair) for all day comfort.

Though they are VERY hard to come by, they aren't bad. I wear size 14 Extra extra wide. They are NOT as roomy in the toe box as the Beast 20 series was. I have bunions and need a roomy toe box. I don't understand why these shoes are so hard to find. I've tried Fleet Feet and other stores that sell Brooks and they can't get them either. I keep browsing the internet hoping a pair will pop up somewhere. Oh, these are Black, not my color choice. Good thing it's winter, summer time they'd be too hot.

I have to say I am disappointed with the Beast 24. I wish you guys would go back to the Beast 20 style. The Beast 20 was built better, more durable, had a wider toe box which I need, and was more comfortable. I bought a pair of the Beast 20 back in October 2022 and I still own that pair and use them for work, I am a postal carrier and walk 15 miles a day in all kinds of terrain, the current pair of the Beast that I bought back in September has a narrower toe box, the insoles for the shoe are already starting to develop a hole, the left shoe lace plastic is already gone, and are not that comfortable. I have been a Brooks shoe person since 2009 due the the support/ comfort that you guys had built into your shoes and the durability of but after the past two pairs of Brooks that I have bought in the past year I am really considering of trying to find another brand of shoe.

The fit was narrow in the heel and the drop was too high to walk without the feeling of falling forward.

Returned them because when I ran it felt like I was landing on my heels with no cushion. For me they didn't work well so switching back to Ghost Max 3

just bought these and not happy. they seem to have moved the arch back, at least that is what I think. My feet were hurting within 1/4 of my run. will return, was out of town and picked up the Glycerin 22's and love them. In Brooks defense, this is the first time in 15 years. Always been my go-to shoe for everything in life, not just running

I wear an insert have fallen arch. I was told these would be perfect with the wider toe area and arch support. My foot felt like it was sloshing around and slipping.

DON’T BUY THEM IF YOU HAVE WIDE FEET. I had high hopes and expected a great fit for the price. Had previously owned a pair and thought I’d try again - thoroughly disappointed- with the fit width and length. Fit more like a size 15 length wise - and definitely narrow in the toe box. Going back to the new Balance 1080v14 !
