I feel Brooks did a great job updating the Beast. I'm 6'3" and used to weight 255lbs. I had trouble finding shoes to walk and jog in that supported my feet without eventually giving way to foot pain. The Beast was the first shoe I found that consistently provided the comfort and support I needed. I loved walking and jogging in the shoe but felt it wasn't supportive enough when doing lateral aerobic movements. The new Beast seems to be a bit firmer for jogging and walking without sacrificing comfort. They also provide the lateral support I was looking for, though I have yet to put them to the test. I was looking for a new shoe to address my needs, then I saw the video Brooks put out on the upgrades to the Beast. Because of the video I purchased my fourth pair Beast, which I wasn't disappointed. Again, great job on the improvements I will continue being a Brooks customer!

There is a defect in the design of this shoe. The insert does not but tightly against the sides resulting in a gap all around the insert. This allows a sinking go the foot on the edges resulting in a possible abrasion, in this case of my little toe

Heavy and why do you continue to make "pointy" shoes. My foot is not pointy.

The beast GTS 24 that I purchased doesn't fit properly. The right shoe is tight across the toe area and I can't get it to adjust to fit properly. I will be returning this pair of shoes. It appears that the left shoe fits well and the problem is just with the tight fit of the right shoe. In defense of the Beast I did purchase a pair of Beast 23 which fit perfectly but the 24 does not.

I have been wearing successive models of the Beast for over 20 years. It's always been the only shoe that fit my very wide forefoot and provided the stability control I needed. The Beast GTS 24 is the first pair I've returned. The toe box in the 24 is very noticeably tighter and it jams my toes together. Brooks started this trend of a narrower toe box with the 23, and in the 24, it's a deal breaker. The difference in feel with the 20 is night and day. I hope Brooks goes back to an older shoe last like the one in the 20 in their next version.

I have had brooks running shoes many times and have known them to be very comfortable to wear. This new pair of shoes do not fit my feet properly, the right shoe is very tight on my foot. I have worn a size 8 brooks running shoe for years and am very disappointed with this beast GTS. I am currently using my old brooks to run.

Really love how comfortable these shoes are for all day wear. The only thing, the manufacturer could do with this shoe, is the reeinforce the toe area and top of shoe between the tongue and toe. The material is thin and a hole or two could develop. IMO. I walk about 50 miles a week in these shoes and get about 7 months out of them.

I'm not a runner but I have wide feet with bunions on both. Most EEE shoes aren't wide enough, and I was constantly in pain. The salesman at The Good Feet Store recommended these in EEEE. and I'm no longer in pain.

I have been wearing The Beast for several years. I wear a 16 4-E and I weigh 200 lbs.The Beast is supportive and has a wide heel base that is comfortable and easy on the feet and ankles. It laces up well for overall strength and comfort. The shoe fits well and wears well. The tread performs comfortably on a relatively groomed trail and very well on asphalt paths. My only suggestion would be to have more choice in color selection.

I love the support on these shoes and these are the 2nd pair I've bought already. I used to have problems with foot pain while running but these shoes have been a godsend.

Great stable shoe but they need to make the grey in 4E size. It has been unavailable for months. Listen to your customer.

I introduced my son to Brooks shoes several years ago. The style he liked is no longer available, so I chose a similar looking style. Although not a runner, he does walk several miles & he loves this new style Beast GTS 24. He wants me to buy more, in case Brooks decides to discontinue this style. A bit expensive but very good quality.

Brooks are the only shoes I own! They fit my wide feet perfectly right out of the box. The Beast GTS 24 the best ever of all my different footwear. Thank you Brooks for a great product.... and looks great too!
