Overall the build and quality seems like Brooks's typical greatness. I was supposed with this version of Beast how tight they are on the sides. It's considerably tighter on width than older versions of Beast. So much I had to check to ensure they both said the were "Med"ium.

Comfortable to wear and walk in all day; look is nice; not a good running shoe for me. Why: because the toe box is narrow at the toe and both outside edges of my largest toes rub the shoe. Shoe is not too short, just had a weird angle around the toe area, last years model didn't fit like that. Seems like the shoe has a weird angle around the toe area causing rubbing. That's what I don't like about shoes that change too much in design/shape/comfort as the models progress. Engineers try to make it better and cheaper to make for same selling price, but you always get a weird flaw as a result that varies by person. Some will say they are great, perfect, and some will say there is an issue or they don't like them. Previous pair of beasts didn't last long, inner heel material tore apart from friction rubs, outside edges of heel wore out really fast and at a bad angle causing feet and ankles to roll outwards. Didn't get very many miles From last pair. Thought I would give these 1 more try in a newer model and see how it goes. I will say I'm not impressed of the build quality, figment for the money. Not worth it. Obvious decline in insole quality also.

Very supportive and looks great. Unfortunately my left big toe rubs on the side of the shoe making it uncomfortable. It isn't that the shoe is too small, it's the side of my toe that is rubbing. I've had many pairs of prior Beast models and I have never had this issue. Maybe I got a defect? The other issue I am having is that there is an elastic "gusset" attaching the inside part of the tongue to the base of the shoe. This elastic pulls the tongue in that direction as I wear them making the tongue "drift" to the inside (meaning it is never centered on the top of my foot) In general, the shoe feels great when I am just standing, but when I walk the rubbing toe issue makes me not love these. The drifting tongue I can live with ....

Started off purchasing 1 pair to see how they compared to my husbands other beast shoes. He thought they were okay and we ordered another pair in a different color. The 2nd pair fit completely different in a good way. They were bigger though the same size in fit and now he won't wear the originals because the fit of the 2nd pair fit better. So sizing is inconsistent and for the price that shouldn't be a problem. Now I'm scared to buy more because I don't know how they will fit and because he wore them and time I'm stuck with them.

These are actually comfortable shoes. The low rating stems from the fact that I bought them to try as a new all day walking shoe (I stand all day at work). I have 4E wide feet and the shoe accommodated them nicely but my foot seemed to "slide" around and the balls of my feet started to hurt. The Addiction Walker 2 are still my go to ( on my third pair) for all day comfort.

Though they are VERY hard to come by, they aren't bad. I wear size 14 Extra extra wide. They are NOT as roomy in the toe box as the Beast 20 series was. I have bunions and need a roomy toe box. I don't understand why these shoes are so hard to find. I've tried Fleet Feet and other stores that sell Brooks and they can't get them either. I keep browsing the internet hoping a pair will pop up somewhere. Oh, these are Black, not my color choice. Good thing it's winter, summer time they'd be too hot.

I have to say I am disappointed with the Beast 24. I wish you guys would go back to the Beast 20 style. The Beast 20 was built better, more durable, had a wider toe box which I need, and was more comfortable. I bought a pair of the Beast 20 back in October 2022 and I still own that pair and use them for work, I am a postal carrier and walk 15 miles a day in all kinds of terrain, the current pair of the Beast that I bought back in September has a narrower toe box, the insoles for the shoe are already starting to develop a hole, the left shoe lace plastic is already gone, and are not that comfortable. I have been a Brooks shoe person since 2009 due the the support/ comfort that you guys had built into your shoes and the durability of but after the past two pairs of Brooks that I have bought in the past year I am really considering of trying to find another brand of shoe.

just bought these and not happy. they seem to have moved the arch back, at least that is what I think. My feet were hurting within 1/4 of my run. will return, was out of town and picked up the Glycerin 22's and love them. In Brooks defense, this is the first time in 15 years. Always been my go-to shoe for everything in life, not just running

I wear an insert have fallen arch. I was told these would be perfect with the wider toe area and arch support. My foot felt like it was sloshing around and slipping.

DON’T BUY THEM IF YOU HAVE WIDE FEET. I had high hopes and expected a great fit for the price. Had previously owned a pair and thought I’d try again - thoroughly disappointed- with the fit width and length. Fit more like a size 15 length wise - and definitely narrow in the toe box. Going back to the new Balance 1080v14 !

Very disappointed in the fit, and feel heavy. I think the shoe was mis-sized and too tight. Tried stretching with some improvement, but still struggling with them. Had to settle for trying this style because the Adrenaline GTS that I've been using for years was not available, and sorry I did. Been very happy with Brooks until this recent purchase, but not pleased with the Beast GTS.

I had Brooks Trace and best sneakers I ever had and bought these GTS Beast and they are uncomfortable, very tight and rigid. Cannot wear for more than 2-3 hours. Not happy with this version.

After a full day of wearing these, the middle of my foot was in pain. Brooks are usually my favorite shoe. This one did not work.

This shoe comes with great looks but the overall feel is like a brick on your feet without any noticeable cushion. I tried these for less than 3 hours and had to come home to change because they were too heavy on my feet and made me feel very unstable. They will be sent back to brooks unfortunately

These have changed. They are not as cushioned as they used to be and the sole is showing a lot of wear after only 40-50 miles of wear. Disappointment.

The wear on the sole is awful. I noticed a few comments in the reviews but surprised there aren't more. I have been wearing Beasts for years going back to the 14s. I purchased a pair of 23s and was disappointed in the wear, only logging somewhere over 100 walking miles before they wore out. Brooks replaced the 23s with a new pair of 24s. I decided to closely track the wear on my new pair and sure enough, 137 miles walked and the sole, especially the ball of the foot, is almost completely worn out. I had ten pair of 20s and was getting 300 to 400 miles with them. Hope they change the sole for the next version, but not sure what shoe I am going to buy to get me there.

If I wanted a pair of Hokas - and wanted to pay the Hoka price, I would have bought a pair of Hokas. As your tracking data may show, I bought 2 pairs of Beasts a year for 15 or so years.. That said, they are very comfortable. I'm a walker with orthotics, and your shoes have always provided great support and comfort, the new GTS24 even more so. Just not happy with the significant price increase.

I was overall unimpressed with the construction of this shoe. A very heavy build that was more reminiscent of a trainer than a running shoe. Not uncomfortable but not excelling in any one area. Heavy, cumbersome, and not really responsive. There are quite a few offerings from brooks and other brands at this price point for a greater value. Recommended for walking, maybe.

I think it's a very durable shoe. However, it feels like a high heel shoe. What they did was narrow the toe box, raise the heel and keep the entire shoe very narrow and it feels unstable without much lateral support. However, some recent New Balance and Hoka models seem to be on a narrow toe box trend too - why?
I'd also recommend:

I went with Wide (my first time), and the Heel still feels tight. I'll use them for the cushioning, but they come off at first chance.

I buy Brooks running shoes for myself (85 years) and my son (55) . This particular pair was for my son who works on cement everyday. He has bunions and planter faciitis. These did not fee good at all on his feet. Need to return. At the same time I purchased a pair of Ghost 16 and they are great,

Really struggled with the Beast GTS 24s. Intense pain in the back of my ankle & around the shoe's edge during the first few wears. It's the hardest shoe I've ever tried to break in. Currently on week 3, and it's still uncomfortable.

They really hurt my feet I can't take another minute wearing them. The past generations were comfortable and robust. These newer ones just are not the same. Very disappointing
