I like the Books Beast. I just purchased my second pair of shoes. I Noticed the toe box are much more narrow compared to GTS 23. I wish Brooks would make a variety of other styles in extra wide. They only had three pairs shoes In extra wide and advised me that's all Brooks makes. Not a very good selection and accommodating for people who have wide feet. I have wide feet and neuropathy in both of my feet. The tighter the fit worst my feet feel. Please consider and I am sure not the only one. Thanks.

I have been a Brooks fan for years now, more a fan of Glycerin specifically. I just tried the Beast to get a little more stability and I love it! Great shoe for walking and running - maximum comfort and stability!!

Beast GTS Shoe relieved foot pain in heel from planters fasciitisExperienced Immediate comfort and support from the get go. I don't delay in putting them on first light and mostly leave them on until I go to bed at night. I will be ordering another pair. Not a Winter/ wet shoe very breathable. Love wearing indoors as lounging and for walking treadmillit will be replacing my Crock's Yukon as around the house shoe.

Comfortable to wear and walk in all day; look is nice; not a good running shoe for me. Why: because the toe box is narrow at the toe and both outside edges of my largest toes rub the shoe. Shoe is not too short, just had a weird angle around the toe area, last years model didn't fit like that. Seems like the shoe has a weird angle around the toe area causing rubbing. That's what I don't like about shoes that change too much in design/shape/comfort as the models progress. Engineers try to make it better and cheaper to make for same selling price, but you always get a weird flaw as a result that varies by person. Some will say they are great, perfect, and some will say there is an issue or they don't like them. Previous pair of beasts didn't last long, inner heel material tore apart from friction rubs, outside edges of heel wore out really fast and at a bad angle causing feet and ankles to roll outwards. Didn't get very many miles From last pair. Thought I would give these 1 more try in a newer model and see how it goes. I will say I'm not impressed of the build quality, figment for the money. Not worth it. Obvious decline in insole quality also.

The shoes seemed good in the subject of fit. Great shock absorption. The left shoe clicks when I walk, as if the shank has a malfunction. ?

great shoe! i'm not using it for running per se, but i love the fit and feel, and it puts a spring in my walk. would be nice to have full solid color options. I got the wide (EE) and it is great for me.

I went with Wide (my first time), and the Heel still feels tight. I'll use them for the cushioning, but they come off at first chance.

I have the Beast 23 in 4E width and they are perfect. Unfortunately the Beast 24 is not the same and too narrow in the toebox. Had to return and find another pair of 23's. Whatever was changed I hope they undo on the next version and go back to a wider fit.

Not as comfortable as my old pair of Brooks Adrenaline shoes which look surprisingly similar to the GTS24 but the GTS24 has more heel support which I need. The medium width of my GTS24 could have been just a smidgen bit wider at the toe. Perhaps they will stretch out in time. The Adrenaline fit perfect when new and at the same size.

The Beast GTS 24 is a fantastic shoe. I am 76 years old with flat feet and pronation walk. (My walks are generally 5+ miles.) I have been using Brooks Beast for 10 years and just upgraded from the Beast 20 to the GTS 24. The first time I put on the GTS 24, I could immediately tell the difference. The GTS 24 is more cushioned with the same support and stability that I need. They even seem a little lighter than the 20s. With my first walk in the GTS 24, I wasn't trying to walk faster than usual but after my walk and looking at my stats on my phone app, I saw that I had actually increased my pace without realizing it during my walk! I attribute this to better cushioning. Brooks also added a toe reinforcement to the GTS 24, which helps me because I am also a "toe riser" walker. With my Beast 20s, I had to have a shoe repair shop add a reinforcement so they would last without getting a toe hole. Ordering was simple and shipment was faster than I anticipated. I will never consider another brand. I highly recommend this shoe if you want a comfortable shoe with good arch and ankle support. You owe it to yourself to try the Beast GTS 24!

My feet heavily pronate to the pointvwhere I've spent several hundred dollars for inserts. This particular shoe has EXCELLENT support to where I'm not needing the inserts!

Very supportive and looks great. Unfortunately my left big toe rubs on the side of the shoe making it uncomfortable. It isn't that the shoe is too small, it's the side of my toe that is rubbing. I've had many pairs of prior Beast models and I have never had this issue. Maybe I got a defect? The other issue I am having is that there is an elastic "gusset" attaching the inside part of the tongue to the base of the shoe. This elastic pulls the tongue in that direction as I wear them making the tongue "drift" to the inside (meaning it is never centered on the top of my foot) In general, the shoe feels great when I am just standing, but when I walk the rubbing toe issue makes me not love these. The drifting tongue I can live with ....

I LOVE these shoes! I'm not a runner, but I have a serious foot injury. In the past I've had to wear shoes with 'partial rockers' and they were only slightly effective. I was introduced to the women's version, Ariel 20, and they were a game changer!! I can now walk distances that used to be unheard of, or suffer pain for days after. The support offered by the "GUIDERAILS" is unprecedented! My only wish is that the color options would be expanded for the women's version.

Started off purchasing 1 pair to see how they compared to my husbands other beast shoes. He thought they were okay and we ordered another pair in a different color. The 2nd pair fit completely different in a good way. They were bigger though the same size in fit and now he wont wear the originals because the fit of the 2nd pair fit better. So sizing is inconsistent and for the price that shouldnt be a problem. Now Im scared to buy more because I dont know how they will fit and because he wore them and time Im stuck with them.

For the life of me, I don't know how one can buy a better shoe. I just received my GTS24s and, by golly they are absolutely superb. I started on the Chariot back in '81 (also a great running shoe by any measure) and, went with the Beast when it came out (since I do far more walking these days). The Beast has been through several iterations since it was first introduced, and while some are slightly better than others for my feet, this new GTS 24 is, for all things considered and my feet, the best shoe I've ever owned. I have to mention that my feet are flat (from birth), and I pronate pretty badly. These "Beast" shoes are the perfect antidote. I've always worn a 2E, and still wear this width. Sizing is spot on.
