I wore Brooks Beasts about 7 years ago, and thought they were some of the most comfortable and supportive running shoes I'd ever had. The GTS 24 version carries on that legacy. They were my second choice (after the Saucony Guide 18s that I ended up going with), because they're rather heavy and clunky compared to the featherweight Sauconys. But still a great shoe if you over-pronate as badly as I do.
I'd also recommend:

I'm 77 years old and no longer a runner. I primarily use my Brooks Beast for walking and on my treadmill. I started wearing Brooks shoes years ago on the recommendation of my physician to treat my plantar fasciitis, successfully I might add. The Brooks Beast has the perfect amount of cushioning and support for comfort and balance. I've tried other brands but always return to the Brooks Beast.

The wear on the sole is awful. I noticed a few comments in the reviews but surprised there aren't more. I have been wearing Beasts for years going back to the 14s. I purchased a pair of 23s and was disappointed in the wear, only logging somewhere over 100 walking miles before they wore out. Brooks replaced the 23s with a new pair of 24s. I decided to closely track the wear on my new pair and sure enough, 137 miles walked and the sole, especially the ball of the foot, is almost completely worn out. I had ten pair of 20s and was getting 300 to 400 miles with them. Hope they change the sole for the next version, but not sure what shoe I am going to buy to get me there.

Comfortable although a little stiff and somewhat hard to stand on throughout the entire day. I'm an ER nurse and my feet and legs get pretty abused. Fit is great shipping and all of the ordering process was easy.

If I wanted a pair of Hokas - and wanted to pay the Hoka price, I would have bought a pair of Hokas. As your tracking data may show, I bought 2 pairs of Beasts a year for 15 or so years.. That said, they are very comfortable. I'm a walker with orthotics, and your shoes have always provided great support and comfort, the new GTS24 even more so. Just not happy with the significant price increase.

I use this shoe for walking. It is the best shoe I've ever used for walking or running. It is light weight, comfortable and supports all my joints on long walks. It simply keeps me from hurting.

Just a few weeks in and the rubber nubs are almost gone under the ball of my foot, after about 60 - 70 miles of walking. Almost zero wear everywhere else.

Terrible shoe the Brooks 23 was much better. I had to send these back in order the 23s. Why did you guys switch up Brooks to the only shoes that I can wear in the 23s with top notch 24 is a terrible shoe.

A great shoe, recommended by podiatrists for a reason. I have two pair, one for more casual, one clean black pair for less casual. Wear one or the other almost every day for work, play, etc. Gave up golf shoes and use my Brooks Beast instead (15 handicap)

Horrible. So much narrowed than my Beast 20s of the same size and width. Running with these has caused me a lot of pain.

I purchased the wide version due to comments stating that it ran tight. Apparently the shoes were too wide, so i returned them for normal width. I wore them for about 2 weeks and they just rubbed my pinky toes til they were sore. That is my only complaint. The soles were super comfy, and they fit great everywhere else. The best shoe that I have ever bought was the Ghost 15. unfortunately they fell apart after 11 months ( I walk a lot every day), and they no longer carry them :(

This is my second pair of these, I've just about worn out the first pair. Recommended by my podiatrist because I have plantar factitious and these (along with orthodic inserts) provide excellent support.

I'm not much of a runner. I picked up a pair of these after I injured my quadriceps. The physical therapist recommended I try them. That was one year ago, and I just ordered two more pairs. What I like about them is the comfort level as well as the extra support they seem to provide. I wear them everywhere, including daily walks with the dog.

At first I bought the size 12 in regular width and after wearing for one day, I noticed they were too tight and crushing my pinky toes. I ended up having to switch to the wide width, which I have never had to do with any other brand. Now that they fit right, they are amazing! I have no pain walking in them 8+ hours a day at work. I highly recommend, as long as you get the right width.

I like the Beast GTS 24 and the Addiction WKL. Both are fantastic.

Fantastic support and the just right rocker shape for my foot and knee situation. My physical therapist recommended this for me due to some foot geometry and a knee injury. After putting my orthotics inside these shoes are just right. I already have the ghost Max and the adrenaline, but the beast with my orthotics is perfection.

Overall I enjoy the shoes. I have very flat feet so it's more comfortable than a lot of other options. It would be nice to have come in a black white option or a few other varieties. I've had the beasts a few gens now. Keep em coming

I was overall unimpressed with the construction of this shoe. A very heavy build that was more reminiscent of a trainer than a running shoe. Not uncomfortable but not excelling in any one area. Heavy, cumbersome, and not really responsive. There are quite a few offerings from brooks and other brands at this price point for a greater value. Recommended for walking, maybe.

Prefect fit I wear Thusane AFO braces. I can wear them inside the Beast all day long with minimal to zero discomfort I wear a 12m in other footwear and this size is spot on for my foot in the Beast including the braces.
