I've only had these a couple weeks but really like them. I wore them for the first time on a snowy trail today and they were very comfortable.

I love this pair of Hoka's. Comfortable, sturdy with the Vibram soles. Perfect for my 4-4.5 miles dog walking each day! Easy to slip on without untieing the laces.

I never write reviews for anything. Im a 370 lb dad. These shows i've worn for our family trip to the big island. This shoes have been comfortable from the walking everywhere in the airport, to hiking in wet caves of hawaii. They have a grip that made the walk around the caves comfortable. Again. Beat shoes i worn for hiking and walking on all types of grounds.

They are very stable and help me keep my not-so-hot balance. I have periperal neuropathy which makes feet and hands tingle and feel numb andpainful, sometimes all at once. The shoes help out.

I bought these shoes for the describe comfort and casual look. They are as comfortable and cushioned as advertised. Very rarely do I find new shoes that are comfortable right out of the box, not needing a "break in" period. The toe box is generous and accommodates my foot issues. I have no intention of using these as a hiking shoe, more so as an everyday shoe that I can put multiple miles on and be comfortable. I have even worn them to the office! Very happy with the purchase.

Great traction - light weight - good ankle support. Just got back from an Iceland vacation where loose and wet rocky trails were the rule and they never let me down. Weight kept me moving strength kept me safe.

Bought these for vacation after reading someone else's review that had a Morton's neuroma and had success in not having pain. They really have done well in preventing pain. I also have arthritis in my metatarsal and the slightly stiffer platform has helped prevent pain there also after about 20 miles walking/hiking.

After booking a lifetime bucket trip to see the Monarch Butterflies migration in the mountains Mexico, I was diagnosed with a small tear in my Achilles and tendinosis and am scheduled for surgery. I bought a pair of these Hokas with the hopes they could help get through the steep, sometimes challenging hikes required for the trip. To my surprise (and relief) I had zero Achilles pain the three days we were hiking. Not sure if it was the all because of these shoes but the result was the result!

Awesome shoe. Great traction and comfort for hiking or walking on travels or wherever but the best part is the slip on. So easy to put on and high quality.

I bought these for my son who works as a delivery driver for a Christmas gift. He loves them! He raves about the comfortable fit, " It's like walking on a cloud."

Very stable hiking shoe that’s NOT gortex. I’m not a fan of gortex hiking shoes at all. These seem very well made and hopefully will last

They fit like all other Hokas, like a glove as long as you buy the right size. Love the better sole for everyday walking and the added stability from the stiffer sole.

I just came back from 2 weeks hiking in Colorado and Utah. I bought the Anacapa 2 as I was looking for something lightweight and "small" given I was travelling on a motorcycle and did not want to use up the entire space of one of my panniers for full-size hiking boots. I was in between trail running shoes and a low hiking shoe. After having examined the difference between both, I went with a hiking shoe due to the more stable/ durable sole accepting the weight disadvantage. I am super happy with the Anacapa 2. It performed very well on uneven rocky terrain in the Colorado Rocky's (and Great Basin) and did equally well in Utah on sand and smooth rock. Good grip and decent dampening. Of course I did not expect the same ancle support as I would get from a full-height 6-8in boot. On top of all that, I like the styling of the shoe not being overly flashy allowing it to be the only pair of non-motorcycle shoes I took on this trip. If I would need to find one Con, it would be more of a personal problem than a Hoka problem. I have narrow feet and believe that a C width would be even better than the D width offered.

Needed a new shoe for lite hiking with the dogs that had good tread and was comfortable too. This HOKA shoe fits that need perfectly. Would purchase again if this pair ever wore out, which is doubtful.
