I have been running in ASICS for 20 years. I'm one of the unfortunate people with narrow feet and an even more narrow heel. ASICS have been my go to shoe because the shoes tend to be on the more narrow side. I purchased the 31 in my normal size and to my surprise, the shoe was too wide for my feet. I was so disappointed. I've tried the shoes that are specifically for narrow feet, and they have in the past tended to be a little too narrow for me. Even with the marathon loop which helps me secure my ankle, my foot was sliding all over the place - side to side and vertically. I ended up having to return these and go with a different brand. I hop ASICS can get back to their more slim fit in the future.

So my last pair were the 29s and I went and tried the 30s and 31s and they feel like mush. Gone is the supportive footbed as my heel can go all over the place. I wore them around while the salesperson raved about this new foam technology. If I wanted mushy soft shoes I would buy sketchers. Glad I found a pair of 29s on eBay. I hope the 32 have better support.

If I wanted a Hoka, I would purchase a Hoka, not an Asics. This new design copies Hoka and it does nothing for my overpronation. Bring back the Gel Kayano anny model 22-27 and I promise your sales will increase. Im not sure if the new design is an attempt to reduce production cost, but I am more likely to send $160 on a Gel Kayano 22-26 or even 27. Gel Kayano 28+ have been on a decline in structure, suppor, and comfort. Let those who want to buy a Homa have a completely new shoe and call it something else rather than changing a classic shoe many have been wearing for 15 years or longer. People are asking repeatedly in your comments for the older style and waving you for Brooks and New Balance. Please help save your customer base.

i have used Asics since 1999 and used to loved them. I was a marathon runner and these were the best sneakers. However for the past 3-4 years the styles are just getting worse. This new style in specific- has been the worse by far. I used this new one and my hip started hurting- i had to go to the doctor because this new style has misalign my whole body structure. Im a podiatrist and has been practicing for 15 years, I used to recommend Asics to all of my patients and now for the past year i have not. Actually i have told all of my patients to stay away from these new styles

I have been buying the Kayano series for over three years now. This is the first time that a Kayano hurt my feet. I dont like them, but now Im stuck with a $160 shoe for six months. Its ok, but it does not work for me that I work standing up for 8-10 hours a day

I bought this about a month ago and immediately returned. I have worn Gel-kayano for years but 30 and 31 are not good. I have always been able to instantly wear them with no break in period until 31s. The 30s fit ok but design was to large of a shoe. The 31 has a very prominent arch piece on the outside that actually pushed into my foot. I was not able to even wear around my house very long. Asics needs to redesign gel-kayano...again...and go back to the more comfortable 29 style and before. The color options are still good but the design seems to have changed with the most recent version, no good. Returned.

Compared to the gel Kayano 30s, these felt a lot heavier. not great support / not as comfortable as the 30.

I pre-ordered because Im a 9.5Narrow and that size sells out quickly. Ive been wearing Kayanos since the 90s and they are my favorite running shoe but Im not sure I love the flared sole on this version. It feels like a lot of shoe. Ive only worn them a few times and the fit is fantastic as usual but what I always liked about the Kayano was the stability and sturdiness without the feel of a giant shoe but this version seems to have abandoned that approach. Theyre not like other brands that almost seem comical in this beer size but so far, Im kind of wishing Id bought another pair of the last model instead. Hoping that it grows on me but also hoping that the next model takes a more streamlined approach.

You really bulked them up. They look much wider than they are. I wish you would have a narrow shoe that is a pretty color. The only choice I have is this black color and it is not very pretty.

Support and comfort not there like in previous versions

I have bought size 10 gel kayanos for years. These are huge. While they are light weight the sole is very clunky and doesn't feel as cushioned as they have in the past.
