Ordered the Madrid Big Buckle in orchid, beautiful color and great deal on sale; however, don't think they will be comfortable for me since my foot is thin feels like this style will hurt top of my foot, tried on in house only for a short while and had marks on top of foot. Always wear size 37 narrow and normal shoe size is a 7 med which is what I ordered. Really wanted to love these shoes, may work better for someone with a wider/fatter foot. Normally if a shoe is not comfortable right out of the box I will not be able to use them, hate wasting money.

Very cute shoes! The footbed wasn’t the “normal” Birkenstock cork. It almost seemed like plastic. They seemed to run about a half size smaller than my other birks. The top of the shoe dug uncomfortably into the top of my foot with each step. Unfortunately, these were a return for me.

I own a few pairs of the Arizona birkenstocks. I love the look of this Madrid sandal and it was true to size. However, I had an issue with the size of the buckle. Because the buckle is larger on this style, with each step, it dug into the top of my foot and was uncomfortable. Sadly, I had to return.

I love the look of these shoes. One big drawback is they are stiff and will probably need a lot of breaking in.

I loved this style and they looked beautiful on. I felt pressure on the top of my foot when walking and that may be due to the stiffer patent leather, but I was looking for a dressy look. Exchanging for regular black leather and I’ll give them a try. I am hopeful!

I loved these shoes, but ended up returning them because the buckle is heavy and puts pressure on the top of your foot making the shoe uncomfortable.

Didn't love the style in person.

Love these sandals, but they could use a little more cushion in the heel.

I was debating since last year if these were worth the price. They are certainly cute. Better looking than the usual 2 straps style. I got the old fashion style 2 years ago in softbed narrow. Wish they would start to make cute styles in “regular” and with the softbed. Although I thought it would take a long time to break them in, I must admit it happened in about 2 days. The problem is, the top strap is still digging into my foot. It’s somewhat thick and the big buckle doesn’t help with flexibility. The positive note is, my footbed is nubuck. I think only a couple of colors are nubuck, the one specifically called nubuck. The others are plastic!

Like the shoe overall. But had to return for a smaller size. I usually wear a 7.5 so I ordered the 38s but they were much too big, my foot was sliding around on them.

I hoped these worked out. I brought selected the narrow and it felt fine. My toes are boney and somewhat narrow, there isn't any support at the foot so my feet looked weird spread apart.

These only came in narrow and they didn’t work for me the style was beautiful though . I am worried about one strap and not feeling too secure on my foot , but I’m going to try to order them in a medium wide from the birk site . Wish Zappos had it available:(

I wanted a different style of Birks, so I ordered these. They are so cute and a bit more streamlined. However, because I have a bunion (ick) it just rubbed my foot in the wrong place. Exchanged for the same gorgeous cornflower blue in the classic design. WHICH I LOVE!

Very stylish, wear with skirts, shorts, jeans.

A little smaller than the same shoe in a different color. Slick floor but I love the shoe, they are so cute and I am hoping to break them in to feel more natural on my foot.

These are beautiful shoes. Love the style. The patent leather, however, seemed to stiff to be comfortable. Will get the black in regular leather instead.

Strangely short. I only wear a 40 in Arizonas, but needed a 42 in these! The more narrow width must seems to also really affect length. Quality is also a bit low, foot bed is different.

I LOVE ? Birkenstock shoes/sandals but have realized that some styles are just not for me. Unfortunately, this is one. When I first got the sandals, they rubbed my foot until I had minor irritation and then just went barefoot until that healed. So far since that has passed, no other issues but I’ll stick with other past styles that have not caused any issues.

I was looking for a cute, low, comfortable slide sandal and I think I found it. I am hoping they increase in comfort as they form to my foot. Currently the little bump at the mid-back outside hits my foot funny. I also find the strap to be a bit stiff, but hopefully that just means it will be sturdy longer.

Love the color and stye just getting a little rubbing from the straps but I’m sure I’ll adapt.

Fit, style, comfort were all great but the Apricot Nubuck color is hideous. I’m exchanging.

A more dressed up Birkenstock, very cute but not nearly as comfy as my Arizonas. They are definitely narrower than the standard narrow width. The sole is much harder and the strap is a bit stiff so it rubs a little but they seem to be breaking in as I wear them more.

The size is fine, I think suede is hard so it takes a while to brake the sandals. It hurt my feet the first couple of days

I ordered a size up and it fits great. I normally wear a 39 and my toe and heel were on the edge so I got a 40. Now as far as comfort…oh my! I ordered 3 pairs and all 3 were different. 1st one was super stiff and hurt so bad I couldn’t wear them. The leather under the buckle dug into the top of my foot and within 5 minutes of trying to wear them, I had a bruise. 2nd one was like butter! So soft, but there were globs of glue around the edges so I returned them. 3rd pair are somewhere in the middle. I’m able to wear them although they are not broken in yet. I’m wearing them around the house instead of slippers to break them in. And when I take them off I’m bending the leather back & forth several times to help soften it. I normally would go to this much trouble but these sandals are gorgeous!! LOL
