I normally wear a size 6.5 in most shoes and boots , but 6 or 36 in sandals. I have never worn a narrow or wide shoe , however these were so cute and decided to try them . In Birkenstock’s however mine are all 35 . So ordered 36 narrow and they worked out just right . I have a pair of Arizonas and 2 pairs of Gizeh, both medium 35 . I have worn now a few times , only took a star off for comfort as perhaps the buckle could be uncomfortable over time , but I will sacrifice a bit of comfort for style . Definitely would buy again . The narrow width actually makes them more flattering too .

I have very wide feet due to bunions and was concerned these would be too narrow. I also ordered a 38 along with my usual 39, per review recommendations of sizing down. The size 39 still fit perfectly, and I had to tighten them all the way to the last hole on the strap! I love my other gizeh soft footbed Birks, and was concerned about the comfort of these. Although not exactly the same as soft footbed, these are still comfortable and stylish. Hope this helps you!

Love these sandals. Although marked as narrow width, i wear wide and they fit perfectly. Having an adjustable strap helps to adjust to a comfortable good fit. Have flat feet and the arch & sole support are advantageous. Will be buying in other colors. Wear an 8 1/2 W and 39 fit without any problem.

A friend of mine has this same shoe and told me to order a full size smaller than i normally wear, which was perfect. It was labeled as narrow on the site, but felt normal width on my foot. I know it will take a little while to mold to my foot, but i am aware how comfortable Birks are!

Even though the width says narrow they fit like a medium width, very cute shoe

I love Birkenstocks. I have been wearing them for 25+ years. All styles, clogs, sandals etc. I really like the New colors.

I love these! I ended up going up one full size from my normal Birkenstock size. The next size up fit perfectly. Very comfortable and great support. The buckle doesn’t touch any part of my foot and it’s not noticeable when I’m walking. Easy on, easy off, easy to adjust. Highly recommend!

Great shoe! I bought the yellow and love the color. I almost always wear a 7.5 and so I bought the 38 and 39 to compare. I think that I could have been ok with the 38 but I preferred the 39 as I had a little more wiggle room. Great shoe overall though! Can’t wait to wear them!

Love these and really very cute with the big buckle detail. These run one size big. I sized down on size. Width is listed as narrow, but it does not feel narrow at all. I have a regular width foot and it fits perfectly with maybe even a little room in the width.

Love the style and fit of these Birkenstock’s! I sized down one size which I always do with Birkenstock. The narrow width is more of a medium width. I don’t have any issues with the shoe coming off of my foot. I can see how it could if the sizing was too large. I got the black first and love them so much I am going to purchase in another color!

I purchased this style of Birkenstock in silver last year. I‘lol definitely get another pair in another color this summer. I typically wear a 37, but in this style I need a 36. I have tried the 37 and it was way too loose to wear, but the 36 was perfect. Even though it’s “narrow” in width, I would say it’s normal/average. I own two other styles of Birkenstock’s and both are a 37. I recommend sizing down.

I absolutely love these sandals! They look stylish and not like the previous pairs of Birkens I've bought before. I'm a size 10 wide width and purchased size 41. These sandals come with three holes and I adjusted my buckle for the second hole (the last one was a bit loose), they are comfortable and so pretty.

I am normally size 8. Ordered the 38 which says 7-7.5 but figured Birks run a bit big. They are perfect! I had to have them after spotting them on someone in a dept store and falling instantly in love. I am a minimalist, classic kind of style and these are perfect! Very comfy - can't wait to wear them this summer. I have normal to narrow feet. Hope this helps!!

Too large. Have 5 in regular Madrid narrow and this pair my foot was swimming in them. Too large and wide. Had to return.

These are my favorite summer shoes ever. Not sure why they are marked narrow. They are not.

This is my third pair of Madrid big buckles -- I am a Birkenstockaholic. I LOVE these! SO cute, so comfortable. Narrow fits me fine in this style though I have a pretty wide foot and normally wear regular width

I looked ALL over for the Big Buckle this spring, thank you Zappos! These are great slides, love them in Metallic Blue. My only complaint is they are wide- even though, they only come in a narrow. I can see eventually, having to punch one more hole in the strap to snug them up a bit.

These are so cute for birks! I have many pairs and these feel a bit “dressier” for work dinner out etc. I wanted the pale pink color but they sold out. Also the color says washed blue but it appears silver not blue at all.

These are extremely comfortable sandals. I order a 10-10.5 and usually wear a 9.5.

It’s a little wide but I plan on punching another hole in the leather.

Super cute sandal but was too wide for my foot that my foot slid forward when walking HOWEVER this sandal fit my daughter perfectly as she has a wider foot. If I could of buckled tighter it would have fit. I’m a true 7 1/2 and the 38 fit.
