Overall, I love these sandals. But they are stain magnets! Or I am terribly clumsy. Or both. Either way, they pick up stains really easily. This was my second pair due to staining and opps I’ve done it again. I think suede is not my friend.

Not sure what was wrong, but the straps were too big, and my feet had too much room, even at the tightest holes. My other birks had not done that.

Birkenstock unisex sizes do not work for women. Birkenstock needs to make more sandals sized specifically for women. This is the second pair I've tried in unisex and my foot hasn't changed, the sandals just don't fit comfortably. I regret having to return a second pair and will head to the nearest Birkenstock store to try and find a woman's sized sandal.

The straps are on the tightest hole and there is still a huge gap from being too loose. Maybe Birkenstock should add a few more holes or stop calling them unisex sandals.

Unfortunately these did not work for me. On the left shoe my toes rubbed up against the toe edge. Right shoe was ok. Overall they were a bit wide for my narrow feet. Had to return them and continue my search for the perfect casual summer shoe.

Footbed was too long for me and Birkenstock arch was too pronounced for my flat arches. Like the look but have to return.

The color on these is different from shoe to shoe. I first ordered the regular width, because I have on the last 4 pairs of Birks, but maybe because of the suede, the straps are VERY wide. The color was as it is in the picture but because of the fit, I sent them back as an exchange. The narrow ones arrived and while the fit is great, the color is like a dirty gray and the suede upper is all nubby as if someone's already worn them for a whole season. Very disappointed and now these will have to go back to.

Disappointing. This is my second pair of suede Arizonas. My first pair, purchased last year, had soft, comfortable straps out of the box. I loved them so much that I bought this second pair - exactly the same style except for the color. The straps on this pair are stiff to the point of cutting into my toes, and the staples rub and scratch the tops of my feet. Not what I expect from the brand or at this price. I would not purchase again.

Comparing the Arizona Unisex to the Florida 3-strap that is described as a women's Regular? This sandal has what seems to be the same footbed, but the straps are really, really long for my slender foot. I would steer the guys to this one.

As usual, Zappos provided quick service. However, I was greatly disappointed to find that the QA had slipped: the footbeds of the sandals showed the impressions of bare feet! Accordingly, I was not willing to try them on, so I am unable to give true comments on the fit and how I felt about them (I was forced by the evaluation form to put something down in order to submit this review). My two previous pairs of Birkenstocks came from Zappos in pristine condition, but after this experience I'm not sure whether I wish to order another pair from Zappos; perhaps I should instead buy them from my local shoe store, which is able to ensure that its customers' feet aren't bare when they try on shoes.

Color (latte) was much more brown than the photo - it appears almost buttery yellow in the picture, but definitely is, well, latte. But I returned them because of the cheap plastic buckle. It adds nothing to what are, basically, an ugly shoe that you wear because it's stupidly comfortable. But the plastic felt brittle and nothing like the durable metal buckles on other colors. I was worried I'd break it in the first week, since I usually have to tighten the straps three times while they break in as the suede stretches. Very disappointed.

I bought these instead of the regular ones because "soft footbed" sounded lovely. Well! Be aware that the arch support (if you really need it) is mostly NON-exisitant in these! I even called Birkenstock to confirm this and they said, "Yes, there is less in that style." So! I'm sending these back for a regular footbed.

I think I was sent a mislabeled pair...I ordered two in the same size and have worn Birks for years and years. These are impossibly wide and not comfortable to walk in. Disappointed because I slipped them on, having worn this size in Birks forever, and realized they just slide right off. I'll have to see if I can get more holes punched in the straps to better adjust.

In my quest to get the fit right, this is my second pair of Birkenstocks I’ve ordered this month. The first pair, came in a Birkenstock box, each shoe wrapped in plastic, with tags on. This pair came in a generic box, no tags, no plastic, and the rolled tissue paper that had come inserted in the straps of the shoe on the last pair, were tossed in the box on the side, doing nothing. Clearly, these had been worn/tried on by someone else, but is it too much to ask for the original packaging, if I’m paying full price for these? Back they go.... (and the regular width is still too wide for this girl with bunions anyway).

There an area on the inner part of the shoe that pushes into the foot and is painful. I got regular width and was in the last hole of the buckles and they were too big. I do not have narrow feet.

I have these same sandals in Taupe and they fit great; both straps buckled with an extra hole to spare (on the next-to-tightest holes). With this pair both straps were much larger. When I buckled the straps on the tightest holes over my foot the straps were still too loose. I could not keep them on my feet.

Before purchasing these shoes I read many of the reviews. Most customers said this shoe runs big. I normally wear a size 9 1/2 in most shoes so I went with the size 40 (9-91/2) they were too small. I returned those and ordered a size 41 (91/2-10) in the women's oiled leather and found they fit perfectly. If you are a woman and have a more narrow foot then don't order this shoe in unisex. Only order women's in the narrow. I also get a sore lower back and have planters fascitis and after wearing this Birkenstock Arizona soft footbed show everything feels better!

Beware: soft footbed Arizona is NOT the classic Arizona. The soft footbed is squishy latex foam, instead of the classic cork slowly conforming to your foot for a custom fit. It otherwise looks the same and is probably comfortable, but if you want the original Arizona, order the regular Arizona. I'm returning and reordered.

The cork bed is not comfortable, it is hard compared to SAS. How the shoe dips down is uncomfortable for me. I like the look of the shoe, just not too comfortable

I've purchased lots of Birkenstocks over the years. My last pair of taupe suede Arizonas were made of stiffer suede. I don't think the suede that is used now is the same quality. These were too flimsy to stay on well, though the sale is nice and the footbed wonderful.I will only purchase regular leather or Birki. These were a huge disappointment.

Took on-line advice here to go one size down. Big mistake! Length is marginally okay. Width is significantly tighter. Recommend you order your usual size and then adjust if necessary. Very disappointing since these shoes have such a good reputation for comfort.

Ever since having a pair of BullHead Cork Midsole sandals I have been looking to replace them. They were almost 20 years old and showed very little wear. My wife convinced me to rid myself of such old shoes...BIG mistake. BullHead does not make sandals anymore so I decided to try Born. That was a mistake as they don't make cork midsoles and fell apart in less than one year. Then I found Birkies. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The midsoles, especially in the heel are half of what they look in the photo's, the fit and feel are very strange. I want to like them but just cannot. I want my BullHeads back.

Meh.... I can’t figure out what the hype is all about with these shoes. First pair of Birks. Last pair of Birks. I originally ordered the narrow because so many reviews said how wide they are and I do not have a wide foot. Returned them because they fit really weird and ordered the regular fit. Brought them to our local shoemaker in town to have him add more holes so I can tighten them more. The arch? Ugh. Constantly feels like I’m walking on a ball. And No, there is nothing wrong with the arches in my feet. I figured I had to wear them awhile to get used to them - it’s been 2 weeks, have worn them at some point everyday and I am not digging them. At all. And now I can’t return them because I’ve worn them. Ughhhhhh Waaaaay too expensive to to keep and not love them. Lesson learned I guess ??
