Unfortunately, these shoes did not work for me. It seems the arch support was a little too much for me, and it made my arches ache.

I had very high expectations for these sandals because of all the raves. I wear a size 8 US women’s and ordered these in 38 because the 39 was way too big. The 38 fit better; however, my feet keep sliding whenever I walk and I've tightened the straps all the way, but somehow it stills feels a bit loose. If I ordered a size smaller it would then be too small so I guess Birkenstock's just didn't work for me =(

These are the nicest Birkenstocks on the market but unfortunately the straps are just too loose even in the narrow fit. My foot slides all over the place in these even on the tightest setting.

Very sad about the size! Already had to size down from my regular Birkenstock size, but now after wearing for a few months it’s still too big with the straps stretched out

As a longtime Birkenstock fan, that is the first Birkenstock purchase I have made that was unsatisfactory, in my opinion. With natural materials, we should expect some variation in texture and color. However, the suede on this pair began to change color only at the eyes of each strap, creating an odd color gradient that looked filthy. The texture also rubbed my feet in a a way that made my skin look ashy within minutes of wearing each time. Too many reasons not to keep this pair. I’ll pass on lightly colored suede Birks in the future.

I love Birkenstocks, but why do they say that EU 35 is an American 4.5 - 5. It's more like an American size 6. And they seem to no longer make an adult EU 34, only children's narrow. I can't find shoes that fit. Any suggestions?

Too wide

I have purchased this style of Birks several times over the past 15 years. I love it (obviously). This pair seems bigger even though it is the same size I always wear. I was really excited about the black color when I ordered them. Unfortunately, the dye bleeds onto my feet whenever I wear them. I've not experienced that with any style of Birks that I've owned. I'm not excited about it at all.

I have been waiting too long to get a pair of these and was excited to get back into town to open my new birks, however once i arrived home to finally open the package, it wasn't in original Birkenstock box and its very evident they are a used pair by the wear on the footbed. I will try to order a new pair but im very upset i paid $150 for a used item. The wide feels too big anyways so hopefully the narrow ones will be a better choice and not a used pair this time.

I’m disappointed in the suede material. It’s soft, but so soft that the straps don’t hold their shape. Can’t use them as slides. Have to bend down and use two hands to put them on. Would not recommend this version of Birkenstocks.

Color faded but Zappos sent me a new pair

So, these were either very stretched out, or the length of straps vary by color (they shouldn't). I bough the black pair and they fit perfectly. The straps of these are so loose, it renders them not wearable. Been having issues with Zappos and quality control as of late, not sure what's going on. At least I received the correct item this time.

I've worn Birkenstocks for years and have this style in a couple different colors. Size 39 N. The suede strap on this shoe is very loose and it was too loose even on the last hole in the strap! Bummed out because I love the color but had to return.

These aren't the Birkenstocks I remember from the '70s. These seemed poorly made and didn't fit right. I was disappointed. Definitely NOT worth $140!!!!!!

Besides not being comfortable on my feet, the shoes arrived in a ripped and torn box with a large stain on the insole of one shoe!

Unisex regular width is way too wide for a standard woman’s foot. Loved the color and suede!!!

Soft suede and soft foot bed was perfect. Taupe color rather bland. Sadly I sent them back due to making my feet look like I was wearing boxes. Not a flattering look.

I originally ordered these in narrow/regular and they were too narrow and too small in length. The positive was that sandal fit nice and tight thanks to well fitting straps. I reordered in medium/wide and they were huge. Along with being too wide the straps were also gigantic, even on the smallest size. My foot was slipping all over the place when I tried to walk. I noticed some people commented they added an additional hole or two to the straps but that's unacceptable to me at this price point. As Unisex shoes, these just look and feel awful on my female feet.

beware of these sandals...they fall apart when they get wet..way over priced to say the least,,,,worth about $12.00 not good for outside walking on cement..stay away from these overrated shoes..
