I'be been wearing Birkenstocks since the 70's (gasp) and couldn't live without them. The most comfortable shoes ever! Foot shaped, keeps my foot in a completely natural position. Unlike any other shoes I know of, birkenstocks has metatarsal arch support (in addition to 'regualr' arch support). Note that birkenstocks run larger than many shoes, (actually they're more true to size but that's another issue) and their regular is more like a 'c' width, perfect for me, but if you have narrow to medium feet, you, might prefer their 'narrows'. And they've been 'environmentally conscious' (without advertising that or being new and trendy) since the beginning, as their shoes can be resoled, and even the footbeds can be totally replaced. One of my pairs is 30 years old as I keep doing just that. Only complaint is they are making more and more styles only in narrow. STOP Birkenstock, don't abandon you loyal customers who also like your newer styles but can't buy them as they only come in narrow. BTW, Zappos rates as the best company on the planet!

Very comfortable! I wear a size 9.5-10 and a 41 fit great. Narrow width is perfect for women's feet. I would definitely get the soft footbed again, it is a lot more comfortable than the regular!

I suddenly found myself with planters fasciitis and needed a truly comfortable sandal for a three-day conference. These fit the bill perfectly. Comfortable, cool and a great walking shoe.

Now I can see why these are so popular - sleek, comfortable right out of the box supportive. I bought the suede uppers for comfort, but after having experienced how great these are, I would love to wear them a lot more than I had planned, and am concerned about staining them. Kinda wish I would have gotten the Amalfi or oiled leather, which would be easier to clean if something blops on my feet while cooking, etc. I have sprayed the suede with protectant, but plan to add more coats so I can wear these more without worry. I love the soft footbed, absolutely no break-in time needed. And I love these with white socks too! I know I am going to want more of these. Highly recommend.

Just got these in taupe and am so pleased! Already have the Arizona in Black Patent soft footbed but I've found the material gets too hot on warmer days..decided to try the suede and the feel, fit and comfort are perfect. Also have two pair of the Gizeh ..while those are cute, they are just not as comfy as my soft footbed Arizonas. I wore Birks as a teen in the mid-90s but then stopped...Can't believe I tortuerd my feet in non-Birkenstock sandals all the years in between. A lesson learned!

Love these Birks with the soft footbed. Your foot stays cool, yet comfortable. I really like the suede upper as well. The dark gray goes well with any color pants. I have very wide feet because of bunions, but I have no problems with this shoe.

I love a Birkenstock. I wanted the Arizona Softbed in black in regular width, but it was sold out. I tried the narrow. It is, in fact, narrow. Otherwise perfect. Unfotunately, too narrow for my foot so back it goes.

I ordered the pink ones last year and they have held up great. I always get complements on the color. I have so many pairs of Birks and highly recommend this style.

Love these classic Birkenstocks! I have a narrow foot so finding sandals that fit well is like trying to pick fresh blueberries on a winter day in Michigan:) These sandals are an amazing find - great fit and good looks too.

I love Birkenstocks. These shoes are great, I do wonder however, whether the strap fabric will wear quickly. Time will tell. Colour is lovely & shoes are comfortable like all Briks's! Highly recommend!!!

Love them. I don't have wide feet, but they aren't narrow either. But I ordered my true size in narrow and they are now broken in and I am glad I ordered the narrow or they would be too big!

Love these shoes, they are so comfortable. I bought them from Zappos because other stores do not sell the narrow style.

Nice & comfortable, according to my daughter. The unisex sandals are wider so a narrow width is kind of like a women's regular width.

I wear a size 38 Dansko, and 39 in this Birk fits perfect. I really like the soft footbed, and the straps are very soft. Love them!

I love the soft footbed. These are so incredibly comfortable I never want to take them off. They are true to size. The narrow is for women.

These sandals are extremely comfortable. Having had extensive ankle surgery-I appreciate that. They are big though. I had my husband punch in some extra holes, so they would fit better.

Long time Birkenstock wearer, first time trying the Soft Footbed. I honestly can't tell the difference between this footbed and the many pairs of regular footbed Birks I have worn. I have high insteps, planter fasciitis, and pain in the foot pad and normally always wear an insert but in my Birks I don't have to. I do a lot of walking on sidewalks. They fit and support my feet perfectly and pain free. I recommend Birks with straps like these because you can adjust fit so that your foot does not slide around in the bed.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I usually don't order a narrow shoe, but this sandal runs wide. Narrow fits perfectly.

My 15 year old daughter absolutely loves these! They shaped to her foot within two days, and she practically wears them nonstop. They are great to wear to school, camp, or out to dinner. She is a size 9 1/2 in American women sizes, and a size 40 is perfect for her. 10/10 would recommend for all ages.

I have high arches and also need metatarsal support, so it's important that the footbed fit well. I wear a 7.5 medium, which falls between the locally available 37 and 38 narrow Birkenstocks. I took a chance on 37 full size and they fit perfectly. I like the soft footbed and the soft suede straps. Feels like I've owned them forever.

Well, these are about my fifth pair of Birkenstocks and honestly, these are the only sandals I wear. So comfy and this color blends with anything. I like this style because you can adjust them to fit your feet which is very important!

Love them. I have super wide feet and am also five months pregnant, and I am running after a toddler all day. So I appreciate that the shoes seem to mold to my feet. My only complaint is that the shoes arrived with a defect. One of the prongs that lace through the leather strap is bent too far. I thought that was part of the design and just started wearing them, but the strap starting coming undone yesterday while I was out in the city. I'm just going to try and bend them back with pliers because I like wearing them too much to send them back and wait for a new pair. So Zappos, disappointed that you would send out shoes with such a major defect. But do love the shoes.

Perfect! These just replaced my old pair of 9+ years! Love the new softer foot bed.
