Classic style and excellent comfory

I have several pair of Birkenstock sandals but these are my favorite, so soft with great arch support. I have arthritis in my ankles and knees and these sandals give great support to my foot and keep me balanced. Thanks Birkenstock and thanks Zappos for such fast delivery and easy returns.

Love my new pair of Birkens! I had a pair for 15 years~but felt it was time to buy a new pair. I bought them in the taupe color, size 38 & narrow width. They feel & fit fantastic. The color is adorable. My old pair was navy so this is a nice change. The soft footbed is a pleasant surprise. They are incredibly comfortable. I know I will love these for years too. They are my #1 go to shoe. I wear them for everything & everywhere. Perfect shoe to slip on & run out the door. Unless your foot is very wide, the narrow fits terrific without being too wide & loose.

Love these shoes! I followed the other reviews and ordered a narrow since it's a unisex shoe. I have normal width feet and the narrow was perfect. My shoe size is normally an 8.5 or 9 and the size 39 fit great. I love the soft footbed! You can definitely notice a difference with it. I would order another pair for sure.

As one with serious back problems, these are my go-to shoes. The soft footbed is wonderful and is still holding up after continuous wear.

This is my second pair of Birkenstocks, but first in the soft footbed version. They are very comfortable right out of the box, so the break-in period is much shorter. They are even more comfortable (and look better IMO) when worn with some outdoorsy ragg socks, which also allows you to wear them in the cooler months. I'd recommend these to anybody that likes to be comfortable all day!

These are the most comfortable birks I've ever had. The narrow width is a lifesaver for me , as the regular ones were always too wide after some wear !!! Finally I have a good balance between comfort and snugness. In addition, the soft bed is dreamy!!!! It's worth the extra $10 for that cushiony feel. Every time I put these suede Arizona birks on, my feet thank me !!!

First Birkenstock purchase. Needed secure but proper fit across the toes. Chose regular width over narrow. Am narrow generally. Don't know the difference between soft bed and hard bed. These felt a bit hard and needed a 2-day break in...not uncomfortably. In all they are incredibly comfortable and supportive. Foot ALWAYS stays in place (how do they do it?). Arch is solid support for my high arch. Wore them all over NYC, walking 40 blocks, am 69. No problem whatsoever. Added plus: incredible exercise of calves and feet. Have no idea why. Lovely look for summer...I didn't want to look like a hippie, and I don't. Will keep these and try narrow later. Booties a future purchase.

I have worn Birkenstock sandals and shoes for many years. They are always comfortable. I especially like the soft footbed and would request more styles with the soft footbed styles.

I was skeptical, but these are as comfortable as everyone says they are. It's still a little strange to wear them since they seem so casual, but for summer use I've found the black suede is even ok with casual skirts and dresses. New favorites! My only complaint is that the straps stretched out after only about a month of use and now I'm using the last hole. Not sure I'll be able to keep wearing them if they continue to stretch.

Excellent fit and look--very comfortable and there was adequate support. I like the casual look and the color goes with most everything that I wear. A very nice summer sandal.

Yet another pair of very comfortable Birkenstock! They run a bit narrow / more snug vs my existing Suede Birkenstock Boston. I was not very pleased with the color though - the actual color is true to the name (Velvet Grey) and not the image. The image appears to have more dark blue tone - something for Zappos to look into.

Cute sandal and felt great but I would need extra holes to tighten the straps. I have to send them back and may have to order the narrow, but I wear wide shoes so I'm not sure if the narrow will fit.

Pleasantly surprised how comfortable these shoes are. I love Birkenstocks anyway, but the soft foot bed is even better.

Extremely comfortable shoes. The soft footbed eventually molds to your foot for added comfort. Very happy with purchase.

These are very nice looking, well made and comfortable sandals.

I'm so glad to have found these in a narrow size, that made all the difference. Finally, after trying so many other kinds of shoes for around the house, these provide the support I needed with the ease of slipping on & off easily. I wear a 36, but never tried a narrow before in any shoes, as I've got a narrow heel but wide in the upper sole and high arches. Hard to fit. These fit great and are easily adjustable. What I really like is how soft the suede is, how comfortable the softer footbed is, and that they look cool. I chose the lighter suede color and am very pleased with it. I'll probably get the closed toe slip on for winter. Thanks zappos for carrying these, and for your always great service!

Love these shoes! I have very narrow feet so the narrow fit was perfect for me. Also the soft footbed is so comfortable. I wore these on vacation and after walking around all day, my ankles and knees didn't hurt like they do in other shoes. I definitely recommend these Birkenstocks!

My last pair of Berks that I purchased as a teenager lasted over 15 years. Now, 25 years later, my teenage daughters are wearing them because they think they're cute!! These are perfect to have in their gym bags when they need to get out of their cleats after practice. One thing to keep in mind, I normally wear a size 7 and sometimes a 1/2 size bigger in shoes but I had to order a size 6, and I still have a little wiggle room. I think they run a little larger in size.

These sandals are awesome! I got the taupe suede and they go with everything. I love that I can slip them on quick whether I'm barefoot or in socks. They are super comfortable, and I've worn them for long days on my feet without any issues. I am normally a women's size 6.5-7 normal and purchased these in a size 37 narrow. They fit great, although I have the buckles on the smallest notch. Overall, I'm super happy with my investment and Zappos' fantastic service. I even loved the box!
