Buy them. Very comfy

Great design. This shoe is exactly what I was looking for. I run 16-20 mile trail runs and need a trail shoe with more cushion on my recovery runs.

Wonderfully comfy. Great if you work long hours on concrete floors.

I use these daily at work. Concrete floors and 10 hour days coupled with bone spurs make for a tough time. These shoes are the best shoes I have ever owned.

Caveat: I'm a trail runner sponsored by The North Face. I was part of the beta testing for the Altamesa 500 and was stoked on the ride and comfort from early on in the process. These are now my go-to shoes for nearly all my long runs and easy/recovery days when I'm not in one of the VECTIV shoes. They are soft and plush but still feel responsive and stable for all but the most technical terrain.

Right out of the box these shoes are a blast. Light weight, responsive, springy and big guy approved! About 40 miles and I'm craving more miles!

Wow, surprised at how fun these are to run in, feel like springs for the feet! Perfect for my local trails.

I just got these today & went for a 5 mile run in the Foothills of the Sandias. 900 ft of gain and the shoes were great. Yes, Ive tried them all & "still" run in Hokas, Altras, inov8, mountain to coast, indeed still looking for the 5 star shoe but I'd give it a very solid 4 out of the box. Curious how they hold up in a 50k & 50 Miler. Cushion on this shoe is impressive but how will it be in 250+ miles? Especially on Mt. terrain & true Trail running. But I will recommend them especially this Sale price. Perspective is up to your foot @ the end of the day. Outside Medicine keep running.

I am an urban dweller and do a lot ofwalking. The Altamesa 500 checks all the boxes, comfort, support and durability. My feet love the 500's. Daily does me right.

Great quality way better then pictured

The shoes did not meet the quality standards as they have a defect. I bought a pair a year ago and they were of very good quality, so I am returning these to request an exchange.

These have replaced my hokas over the last year. Definitely better comfort and find them to be more durable. Own the 500 & pair of the 300's. Nice work NF hope you never change the recipe on the cushioned sole.

Truly one of a kind trail running shoe. I've bought two for myself and gave two other pairs to members of my family.That's how good they are!

I have problems w sciatic, and I bought a pair and it gives me all of the comfort I need. Recommended to any one w this type of problem. Love them, love them, love them. I bought two pair black and a cream pair.
