These shoes are very comfortable and sturdy. They have a big toe box and plenty of room for wider feet.

These shoes meet the needs of a trail runner, wider toe box and lifted front toe take the strain off toe joints that comes with many miles and years of climbing. Wish I would have found these years ago.

These shoes are very comfortable, I wear them to work every day. I am a physician and do roughly 10,000 steps with at least 8 to 12 flights of stairs per day. They are very well cushioned, and look sharp with my scrubs.

This is the shoe I was dreaming about from TNF. Needed something soft and cushy for recovery runs and long runs on harder surfaces, this shoe is that and more. Great for road and non-technical trail. The fit is perfect with wide toe box allowing toes to splay and stability with higher stack height from added cushion. The tongue is also well designed and laces feel good. Pumped on having this shoe in the quiver and not having to go to another brand for a shoe that fits this purpose. Thanks for listening to your athletes!

I have just over 100 miles in these and I am really liking them. I've tested them on all sorts of terrain and they are great on everything but side hilling/rocky technical terrain. They excel on smooth downhills, the rocker and the dream foam makes the downs fast and effortless. They are good on other terrain. I used them for a Rim to Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon and they were fantastic. Tested their drainage on a stream crossing and have no complaints. The only slight complaint is traction could be better with the 4mm lugs.
I like the fit! It did take ten miles for the liners to break in a smidge, initially it felt like my foot set too high, but after the first couple run it resolved. The toe box is great, not a Topo or Altra but very good and I didn't have to size up a 1/2 as I do in many other brands. Downsides for me are it's weight and the stack height makes it not a great shoe for really technical trails or off trail adventures. Otherwise I'm super pleased and would recommend.

I just don't give my feet a second thought with these on, apart from the odd "ohh, that was nice" when I get a particularly springy toeoff or soft landing. You can stand all day in these, cruise for long miles or even pick up the pace. It's got great heel to toe action without anything drastic (no super rockered geometry, decoupling, carbon fiber, etc) just simple and effective. Same for the upper, not quite a 1:1 fit but very close, jaquard like knit with a light but sturdy backing. The other plush trail shoe I love is the Salomon Glide Max but these have a much better fitting upper, quicker feel and cushioning on the same level. The Dream midsole uses nitrogen infused foam, like we see on Anta and 361 basketball shoes, various Puma and Brand Black offerings and, perhaps most notably, in some of the higher end Brooks stuff. As running shoes go, The North Face's take on Supe Critical is super awesome: light, not TOO high off the ground (30 mm stack despite the exaggerated sidewall at the heel that makes it appear higher) and just the right mix of pillowy and responsive. Awesome pair, along with the Vectiv Guard Futurelight, which costs $95 more, these really announced that TNF has moved into the field as a major player in footwear.
