I've run 400 miles in these at everything from 10 m/mi to 4:30s and they're great. Outsole will be the first aspect of the shoe to wear out, seemingly long before the midsole loses its pop. I run without socks and this is the only shoe I've never blistered in; easily the best fitting upper and liner on the market. Folks finding it clunky should go down a half size and try sockless. Only downside of the speed 4s is that now I can't run in anything else and it's about time for a new pair.

Quickly have become my favorite pair to grab for really anything. I don't like the feel of a carbon plate so the nylon plate offers a reasonable compromise. Just ran a Half and everything hurt afterwards except my feet!

150ish miles in, and these are great! Light, fast, and great fit. I may buy another pair for backups!

Over 30 years of running, I'm worn out and a slow jogger. 210lb 6'3" with slightly wide feet. These shoes are incredible. Very springy yet I can feel the road. Snug in all the right areas. Light. Highly recommend

If you like to run fast you'll love these shoes! Very springy and comfortable. Has great roll to them and the heel cups nicely. Super sturdy with a wide base.

Been running in the Endorphin Speeds since the speed 2. I thought the speed 3's were better than the 2's and these are even better. Light weight, fast and stable. Love em.

Only 30kms in these shoes but they have done nothing but exceed expectations. By far the closest feel to a carbon plate that isn't carbon especially with the pwrrun and pb cushioning & bounce. Light weight, seems durable so far. Very happy with my purchase.

Having run in Endorphin Speed 3s, was Leary about the change. But after a few runs and a 10 km race, super happy with the shoes and how they feel. Not quite sure what has changed but they are better than the previous version. One noticeable difference is stability in the cornering.

I have purchased and ran in the Saucony Endorphin Speed 2, 3, and now 4 and I will say the 4 is by far the best variation of the shoe. Highly recommend, you feel like your flying in these shoes!

The Endorphin Speed 4's are a joy to run in. They didn't require a break in period and after a short 5 mi run, it's the first time in a while that I'm looking forward to my next run.
The toe box is a little narrower, but still felt good after the run. The ride is a bit firmer, but still very comfortable, reasonbly cushioned and connected to the road. The shoe works well at easy/recovery speeds, but definitely shines when you pick up the pace a bit. They definitely want to cruise at tempo speeds and also feel like they'll work well for interval training too.
Traction is good, but the cornering is only average. You're not going to make sharp cuts, but the platform is fine for normal road or lap running on a track. It also feels like a very light shoe, which is great given the industry average stack height and footbed insert.
This isn't a small investment, but considering many non-plated shoes are in the $140 range, this seems like reasonable compromise before moving to the $220+ plated race shoes.
I found many of the written and video reviews on the Internet to be accurate. I ran ~600 mi last year and have run about 380 mi this year. I was looking for a modern show to help improve my pace. My first impression of the Speed 4's was very positive and I would have kept running if I had more time. Legs felt great.

Love the green. Had to 1/2 size up from the speed 3. Fit perfectly now. Not as much spring as the Speed 3 also, but still a great shoe. Perfect 10k shoe for me.

Great fit. Extremely comfortable. Rocker soles took a bit of getting used to, but happy nonetheless.

This shoe is not just good looks! I bought this a week ago after trialing various competitor shoes and wow, I'm converted to a Saucony fan. The shoe is light, springy, insanely comfortable. I absolutely love the colours too!

Best version of the Endorphin speed yet. The most comfortable daily running shoe IMO.
