These shoes were so comfortable, I felt like I was walking on a cloud. This is my second pair of saucony shoes. The endorphin speed 4 shoes were amazing no less. Super comfortable and such nice material, definitely worth the price. Im obsessed, although the color isnt quite my style I got used to it and wear them all the time now. Definitely a great purchase

I ran in the 2 for tons of miles. It was my favorite shoe ever. Bought this update and felt after two runs that I would get injured. The 4 lacks that rocker shape on the 2 and 3 that rolled you forward. I found the toe box was too wide and overall it seemed like a bigger shoe. I returned and decided to stay away from Saucony until I can try the over $200 models made for higher end runners.

I have put about 100 miles on these. They are not as good as the 3. They are to hard and feel like bricks. They also are unstable for me as i almost sprained my ankles twice o the first run.

Really really disappointed in the shoe. Especially after such a positive experience with the Endorphin Speed 3. The ride is stiff and does not give a comfortable cushion ride of the Endorphin Speed 3. If the 3 is an old Cadillac Deville these are a new Cadillac sport sedan. Sure, they are called the same thing but just drastically different in execution. I would go for the previous model and save the $40 difference.

Did not care for this shoe. Much different than the 3s. Big heal and did not feel much more cushion all around. Clunky. Have stocked up on 3s which are the best ever.

I was excited to buy a pair of Speed 4s. My expectations were high, after owning 7+ pairs of Speed 3s. In my opinion, the Speed 3s are superior to the Speed 4s. The Speed 4s simply feel stiffer on the forefoot and less responsive as compared to the Speed 3's plush and responsive ride. I will use the Speed 4s for short runs only. I would would be very interested to know what the goal was by Saucony with this change. Granted the Speed 4 colorways and uppers look 100% better than the Speed 3s but that is the only improvement. Nice shoe to wear to the grocery store.

So disappointed in these!! I purchased in June this year and by July the 'web' over the sole was coming apart in the front on my right foot! I have a good rotation of running shoes and I don't wear them everyday. I expect better durability from Saucony. I upgraded to the Saucony Speed 5 (upgraded I thought) and those are doing the same thing after wearing them twice!! Come on, they cost too much and I expect better quality Saucony!! I won't do it again, my BAD!!

I purchased the navy/pepper shoe in June 2025. I am a tall medium size runner who runs mostly road some short off road but nothing major. July 2025 (approx. 5 weeks ) and the bottom 'skin' of the shoe is dangling. So disappointed!! Running shoes aren't cheap and unless you're running ultras every week running shoes should last more than 5 weeks!! I run average 30-40 miles/week. Sorry to say I won't be buying these again, waste of money for 1 month use.

Terrible “upgrade”. They tried to add more ground coverage but it makes the shoe too bulky. The Endorphine 2 was the top of the class. Love the brand but ready to move away unless they improve the style. Also prices have gotten outrageous.

I did not like the feel of the shoe. The main problem is with the heal. It has a foam heal that extends out from the back of the shoe and the foam wears off and chunks break off.

If you're expecting the new Endorphin Speed model to be like the previous ones, you'll be disappointed. I've run thousands of miles in earlier versions without any issues. However, this new model has caused hamstring, calf, and foot pain that I never experienced before. I know the shoe is the culprit because when I switch back to other models (Endorphin Pros, Hokas, Vaporflys, etc.), the pain disappears. I've tried to push through it, but I risk injury if I continue using these shoes. It's super disappointing, especially considering the price. I'm not sure what changes were made to this model, but I would buy the Endorphin Speed 3 if it were available.

I have used all the previous versions of this shoe, they were my favorites. Don't enjoy this new version, find it less responsive, like flat footed. I feel calf discomfort when running with them. Maybe I will try the Kinvara Pro?

Little stability, injury prone for training shoe. I have enjoyed the first, second, and third generations a ton; however, really not enjoyed this product

No idea what they changed but I have several thousand miles in the endorphin speeds and this new generation 4 has my calf's hurting like crazy.

Size ran small compared to the Speed 3 pairs I owned previously. When I sent back the too small 13s and ordered size 14s, the 14s were too big. I ended up just giving them away. In addition, the foam in the sole did not seem as springy as the Speed 3.

I am really struggling with the ride of these shoes - no issues with fit, uppers, or outsole grip. Background: I am a 54 year old male. I have been running for ~40 years. With my kids growing up, I am spending more time running - ~30 miles / week with half marathon races this year. My pace varies from 7:15 min/mile for mile repeats to 9:15 for long slow distance training. These are the my first plated shoes with PEBA midsole foam. I have done two 3 mile runs in the shoes. I am a heel striker. The initial landing is fine albeit firm. The transition onto the forefoot is troublesome in that the shoes feel like they are forcing this to happen more quickly than my body would like (and is used to?). When my forefoot lands, the shoes slap audibly, and the feel is very harsh. The impact transmits through my feet into my legs and hips. This is very uncomfortable and induces IBT syndrome symptoms. I am having trouble determining if: (1) the shoes will break in, (2) I need to adapt my running biomechanics to the dynamics of the shoes, (3) I should give up on them. I had intended that they be my race shoes for an upcoming half, but instead I have shelved them. I plan to spend a little more time with them during my next training cycle. For now, I am really disappointed.

Truly awful all around. These are absolutely nothing like the Speed 3s, so clunky. It feels like you add 10 pounds to the back of your ankle. The Speed 3s were perfect and this update really missed the mark. Regret I didn't buy a few Speed 3s to tuck away. I've been running in Saucony shoes for over 20 years, this was so bad I'm considering Hokas or Mizunos for the first time. After what they've done to the Kinvaras there is nothing left in their lineup for me. So, so, so disappointing. Bring back the Speed 3s.

Nothing like the previous Endorphin Speed shoes. They run large and lack energy return.

Narrow , Narrow, Narrow! The wide MIGHT accommodate a runner needing more room in the toe box??? Also if you are a runner needing wide, Saucony offers ONE color.????? It's a shame because Saucony has nailed the midsole on the Endorphin line.

This shoe should not be named Endorphin Speed 4 because it is completely dissimilar to earlier versions in the series. Is that fraud? The shoe is uncomfortable and forces weight onto the forefoot. The lacing system is a joke and causes the shoe to loosen up during the run and drag. The pore size and a absense of lining in the mesh upper renders the shoe useless in winter. If Saucony did one thing correct with this shoe it was that they succeeded in doing an excellent job of ruining an great running shoe. It feels much more like the Nike Pegasus than anything in the previous Endorphin series. A complete disaster that will stay in the box because it's too ugly to even wear casually.

I am a huge fan of the endorphin line and was really excited to try these out. I ordered the Verdant white pair and immediately returned upon looking at them. They really need to do better with the colors on the speeds. If I could buy 10 pairs of the stars and stripes saucony speed 2s right now, I would.

One 8 mile run and the shoe is wearing poorly, with foam beginning to disintegrate. Guess that's what I get for buying the first day they were released! I've got three pair of Speed 2s with hundreds of miles on them and they all look like they're in better condition. Very disappointing.
