soft yet sturdy. forms well to feet. light and moves with you while walking/running.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but they didnt give me the support i was hoping for. The toe box starts off tight, but as my feet expanded it was rather snug.

I am not actually a runner. I am 60 with lower back issues and the support in this shoe is phenomenal. If I am on my feet all day this is my go to! Recommend for anyone with the same issues.

Sorry Brooks but this new design is awful! I am a loyal Brooks Ghost runner and the switch to the medial side of the insole at the metatarsal head is painful. It went from a flat surface to a divot with a lump of cushion in front of it. This causes friction on the foot and a prime spot for a blister. I only made it 20 minutes into my run and a blister started to form. I quickly returned the 16's and purchased another pair of 15's and ran without any issue. Please Brooks, switch back to the previous insole used in all Ghost versions prior to the 16's!!! These shoes are just not comfortable.

After running in many pairs of Ghosts- this model felt like it was restricting my natural step causing pain in the outsides of my lower legs above the ankle. It felt like the shoe was pushing my feet to roll inwards. I naturally overpronate and I have high arches, but these shoes were not supportive of my step as they had been in the past. I bought the wide for my arches ( as usual) and loved the new colors in the wide (not just white and black), but after trying a few runs (3-6 miles) in these shoes and always feeling pain (only in these shoes)- I swapped into a different brand and had a pain-free run.

My husband bought me a pair of ghost 14's a few years ago and they were the best running shoe I ever owned. No more knee or ankle pain after a run. They are so worn and I needed a new pair. I decided to get a pair of HOKAs to try. My knee pain returned and I absolutely hate them. I want red to stick with the ghost shoe and purchased Ghost 16 a month ago. The shoes are more comfortable and have more of a bounce than my previous pair. They seem lighter and I don' t feel them on my feet. These are my favorite and I am so happy with them. I hope some new colors come out soon.

These look great, feel great, and offer a lot of support. After 20 years of long-distance running, my ankles have begun bothering me. These offered a lot of support and I highly recommend them!

Have worn ghost before, and was so disappointed with the new design that has a harder feeling foam and apparently a more shallow foot bed, my insole arch supports didn't fit correctly in them anymore and feet and legs hurt after a week of 12 hour shifts. Miss the cushion.

Love the sneakers. Have several pair. I use them for the gym or this last pair I bought was for walking around Paris (averaged 20 miles a day). Bought a new pair for my husband as well. We love these sneakers.

To Whom It May Concern; This pair is not as comfortable as Glycerin GTS 19. Too narrow my feet are a bit constricted.

I love this sneaker but you may need to go up half a shoe size. I usually wear a size 10 but all Brooks sneakers I need a 10 1/2.

I have been a ghost lover for years and just purchased the 16s despite warnings that they were much different than the 15s. They are a little different- a little more solid on bottom (less cushy) but completely comfortable. I have plantar fasc. and my left heel bothers me a lot. These sneakers make exercising and walking all day doable! I will be buying another pair. They are comfortable, stable and beautiful! I like how they seem a little more wider on the sole; gives more stability. Beautiful and worth every penny!

I love this shoe. I went through about five different styles until I found one that really fit my foot. I have bunions on both feet and it is so hard to find shoes with a roomy toe box. I ordered this one a half size bigger, and they are perfect. They just fit my feet! The heel has enough cushion, and I can walk comfortably in these all day. These are my go to shoes for walking my dog and just walking in general. I don't know why they fit my foot better than the Ghost 15, but they do and I love them.

I did not like them! They run small and the shoe laces are very short! I tried wearing them but hurt my feet.

Such a vast improvement over the Ghost 15. the 16 has great cushioning, especially in the heel. Roomy and well vented. Good support overall. The shoestrings are nice and long...something the 15's lacked.... Hoping you come out with some different colors as I want to order a 2nd pair but waiting for different colors....

Super comfy but the black grey white are pretty much all black. Darker than pic.

Comfy, Quick Break-in but long-lasting tread. I always feel like a winner in these shoes!

I have worn Ghost sneakers for years. I have a wide fore foot, narrow heel, and wear orthotics for over pronation. Previous Ghost models have accommodated my wonky feet and made them feel great for runs and long walks. Im also on my feet all day as a PT and wear these to work. Unfortunately this new version is more narrow in the toe box and my toes rub on the outside with or without the orthotic/insert in. My regular size is also now a bit shorter so my toes hit the front. Sadly they were returned. For now I ordered a new pair of 15s on sale.

The most comfortable Ghosts yet! I wear these for 12-hour hospital shifts, and my feet are not tired at the end of the day.

They are the most comfortable sneakers Ive ever worn . Despite the fact that they wear out too quickly for my budget, I buy a new pair every three months. When one pair wore out after two months Brooks replaced them for free without any question.

I was disappointed with this new version of the Ghost. The footbed has changed and I immediately had foot pain/cramping with my first workout. I went back to the 15s without issue.

I have worn Brooks for years and love them. I wonder if there has been a change in material used for these. They are so very hot! They make my feet sweat terribly , and I get blisters every time I wear them.

All I ever wear are Brooks shoes. One of them wears a blister on my heel. Usually there is no break in with these shoes. Disappointed

This is the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned. The soft but stable sole is just what I need. The upper is comfortable and soft and 8.5 fits like a glove! I am a 7.5/8 regular shoe. I went up a 1/2 size for running/walking. I like the way it laces up, not too high and not too low. The toe box is roomy but not too much that you feel like you would slip. Its roomy enough so your toes are comfortable and not pinched at all. Love it. Just an all-around great running/walking shoe.

It was not comfortable to my instep otherwise it was fine. Didnt like I had to go a whole size bigger to be comfortable in the toe box the shoe felt big on me Not a comfortable fit to my feet
