I have been wearing ghosts for the past 10 years and have loved every pair except this one. For whatever reason this pair bothers my arches and sometimes my ankles. I've been wearing them for every day things not running thinking maybe they just need a little time to break in but I've had them for 4 months and they still don't feel right. I'm glad I still have my ghost 15 for my go to.

I don’t like how the back of the shoe sticks out like an inch. They look big just bc of that. Shoes are nice and I love the color, but I hate the back. I have another pair that was the same but I kept those and I wore them out. This come in wide and extra wide for those who have bunions. Very comfy.

The shoe itself is exactly what I imagined, supportive comfortable very kind to my Achilles tendon issue. It is my first pair of Brooks specifically for this problem and I can already tell that my foot is cradled, hopefully, in a way my tendinitis does not flare up. My only issue was kind of a silly one the orchid ice color in the description and on the photos appeared to be pink on a true white base with black. In reality, it is a beige-dusty rose-warm color on a true white base with black, not at all as it is pictured in the photos. So to my eye, it looks a little odd, a warm color on a cold color.

The fit has changed! The toe box is wider than the Ghost 15. In the Ghost 16, a standard women's 10B feels like a 10C. One has to lace tightly to try to balance the too-wide issue. Unfortunately, it still feels too wide even with tight laces. Also, the cushion feels spongy and less firm than the Ghost 15. These changes are not for me. As a moderate mileage runner with a 10B sized foot, I like the Ghost 15 fit-formula much better.

Great shoes. I love the arch support better than the Ghost15. Absolutely worth buying. I enjoy the overall cushioning, shape and style. *** Just a heads up it runs smaller than usual. ** I usually wear an 8 and will be re ordering in a size 8.5. It is snugger and Im a thin footed, petite person.

Loved the 15, loathe the 16. Shoe has increased heat transfer from sole and I am experiencing friction on ball and back arch area, which is fine for about two miles and then problematic. Showing scuffs in the larger areas between treads already (2 weeks in) suggestive of too much compression taking place in the tread itself, likely contributing to the problems. Cushion is good, that is not. Makes me concerned about durability as well, but doubt will be wearing these for anything but walking in neighborhood now. Disappointed and am buying something else (likely changing brands now) for running. Feels like sole stability was sacrificed for a minuscule drop in weight? * I am a casual runner (3-5 miles a day), have neutral pronation and do NOT have high arches for reference.

I loved the ghosts for the past couple of years, but this latest version is not it. The toe box is much wider than the last version and I dont even have super skinny feet. My foot just moves around too much in them. Please bring the 15 version back!

I just bought these in all black for work. They are super comfortable and I could wear these all day immediately without having to break them in. It's my 4th pair of Brooks shoes and I love them! Highly recommended!!!

Great comfortable shoe. Using daily for work in healthcare (on my feet constantly). Nice fit in the heel and ankle, no slipping. Brooks are always great with ankle fit. I love that these are cute colors and WW width. Please keep making more styles are variety of colors in WW and also N width, for those with different feet!

This is my third pair of Ghosts. They fit well, and are great for both long and short runs. They are the only shoe I will wear for running.

I have been wearing Ghost shoes for years during workouts and long walks. Suddenly on the 16 my usual size 8 is too short and narrow in the toe box. I don't understand why the fit has changed in the new version but I am sad I will need to look for new favorite shoes.

Wanted to love these but aside from the first pair being too small i sized up and it was a perfect fit. They were super comfortable at first and after a week of wearing them I am experiencing an awful burning sensation on both sides of my feet as well as bad toe pain. Never had this issue with sneakers before.

I am a long time Brooks Dyad buyer, and I am sad to say these are not a full replacement. I do like the foam cushion of the sole, but it lacks arch support, the toe box feels overly wide, and I have wide feet. It’s about a 76% match to the Dyad.

I really miss the older versions of ghost, such as the 11s and 12s. The past several models really lack the cushion I need and honestly I do not feel the 16s are worth the high price. The good thing is they are roomy in the toe box.

Ive been wearing Brooks for about 12 years because I love them so much more than other brands. Ive noticed a change in the fit of the Ghost so I had to size down. After trying out two sizes I found ordering a narrow width for the Ghost 16 was the right way to go.
