Bought a pair to replace my last pair of Speedgoat 5 which did not last for 3 months of city walks and HOKA refused to stand by their product even though it was still in the warranty period (a different story). I tried this pair for a planned 3-miles-walk but couldn't finish the walk because my foot hurt so bad. I owned 6 pair of HOKA within last 2.5 years. No more.

I would buy a new pair of Hoka's, but the colors suck this year. Everything is white grey or black. What happened to the colorful shoes you used to sell? The news designs are plain or ugly. Do better Hoka designers.

I purchased these for trail use and can't wear them. They hurt the top of my foot too much. Have always worn size 10 woman's regular width (including several shoes from this site). The pain is too much and these shoes just sit in my house now unworn. I worried to purchase anymore shoes for fear they won't work.

I really liked the previous version of this Speedgoat. I'm an avid trail runner and put 100's of miles on them. This updated version has the most bizarre non-existent tongue. It's so short that the laces go past the minimal padded part. Extremely uncomfortable. Seems like such a rookie error for a brand that at one time led the pack for true trail runners. Fortunately there are some fantastic alternatives out there.

Hi. I have only worn these shoes like four times and they are hurting my feet. The sides of my toes and my sole.

The Speedgoat 6s are not a durable shoe. My pair had less than 100 miles on them before the sole cracked apart. I am highly disappointed given I've been a long time Hoka user and loved previous models. However the materials and manufacturing process for the speedgoat 6s don't hold up to trail use.

I have worn speedgoats for going on 4+ years now and never had any problems. I tried these 6s for one run and had AWFUL pain on the tops of my feet. I'm going to wear my old 5s and hopefully the next edition will be better

I have been a Hoka fan for years, but unfortunately someone at Hoka has redesigned their shoe tongues so thin and SO short that I cannot grab them anymore with my arthritic thumbs. It's truly a shame because I have loved hiking in Colorado in my speedgoats.

I purchased the speedgoat 6's just over a month ago and they are coming apart on the tongue already. The stitching has come undone and the tongue just kind of flaps.
I only wear them 2-3 days a week when I work 12 hour shifts as an RN, so it isn't like they have had excessive wear. Very disappointed in the quality.

So disappointed. The 6's are just like everyone is saying: tight, stiff, plasticy, and painful. This is no upgrade.
I've purchased six pairs of speedgoats from 3-6. I don't care that they wear out quickly and get holes-- the shoe has been worth it to me. Up until this point I was okay going through a pair every 3-4 months. I returned these after one short hike.

I bought these shoes and they didn't last 8 months. The tops of both shoes got rips and holes. It was just normal wear. The warranty didn't cover my issue. For the price, I would expect them to last longer. I won't be buying Hokas again.

I bought these SpeedGoats 6, thinking that they were like the previous SpeedGoats. I have had Speed Goats for years and loved the old Speed Goats. I bought the SpeedGoat 6, last November, and just tried them on, thinking that they'd be ready to wear. (Sadly, I tend to buy Hokas and then put them away until my old ones wear out. I have worn Hokas, the same exact size for years) OMG the mid-foot and toe box are SO Narrow. My foot was aching, severe pain, I could not wear them. Could not even take one step in the new Speed Goat 6. I am asking now, for a refund, and I am very hopeful Hoka will give me the refund! So sad, the old HOKAs are amazing, but the new ones, the mid and the toe box way too narrow.

The difference between the speedgoat 5 & speedgoat 6 is night and day.
I don't know what changed with the 6's but they hurt my feet badly!
I used them in 2 5k races and my feet were so sore before I was done with the race. I thought maybe something was wrong with my feet but I purchased another brand of shoes and that wasn't the case. It's the shoes. I purchased 2 pairs of speedgoat 6 shoes. Unfortunately I am too late for the return policy. One pair hasn't been worn at all.

Less than a year old, the shoes are fraying and have holes - the return department is telling me this is 'normal wear and tear' and will not replace or refund my money

Received Hoka’s quickly, but they were not the color that looked advertised, also looked previously worn. The top material of the shoe had a purple tint to it in the light and the bottoms of the shoe looked like they had been worn. Returning. Tried to contact customer service via text chat regarding an exchange for another color and the same price due to price matching the first pair and waited for an hour.. still no response after asking me for my info.

I’m really disappointed in the speed goat 6 model.
I bought two speed goat 5 size 11s, a couple of years ago and they fit me perfect!
I got a lot of wear out of them, good cushion and arch support.
I ordered the speed goat 6, expecting the same thing. Unfortunately they’re a little bit shorter than the speed goat 5 and very rigid, not cushy and no arch support!!
I had to return them and search for a different sneaker.

200 miles in and I still despise these. Not comfortable at all, and they rub in weird spots on my feet during long runs. The 5 wasn't perfect and these are more stable, but besides that I have nothing good to say about these shoes. Oh and the colorways suck. Get the 5 or some challengers instead.

I've been a loyal fan of Speedgoat 4 and 5s (wide fit). Speedgoat 6 is way too stiff and hurts my foot all around. Please bring back the Speedgoat 5 version, either in the form of another shoe or in the form of Speedgoat 7.

These shoes are ankle-turners. I have regular width feet but the shoes run wide and the shoelaces regularly seem to loosen throughout a run. I find myself tightening the shoelaces (including using the upper most lace hole to tighten around my heel) to the point that the top of my foot hurts, but the shoe remains loose and wobbly on rocky, technical trails. Unfortunately, there is no good way to test out trail running shoes for technical running except for running several miles on trail, at which point they are not returnable.

As a longtime lover of Speedgoat 5, I am SO disappointed. Speedgoat 6 is too narrow. It binds around the instep. It's horribly uncomfortable. WHY did they have to discontinue such a great shoe???

The tongue slips and my feet hurt so bad after one mile hiking. I usually wear a 9 but I had to buy an 11.

This is my 5th pair of speedgoats, but first speedgoat 6. I have absolutely loved all previous versions of this shoe. I have told everyone who will listen (and some who won't) about how much I loved Hoka speedgoats. No more though. I used to be able to take a pair out of the box and go straight in a 10 mile hike. No breaking in. Felt like I was wearing slippers. Not with the 6s! I've been wearing them as much as I can stand for the last 1.5 months and I'm giving up. My feet hurt after just minutes of wearing them to run errands. I definitely won't be wearing them for hiking. I wish I had bought them on Hoka.com so I could return them. Ignore my choices of how they fit. In some ways they feel wide, in others narrow. Same for length. Honestly, horrible shoe
