FYI. Like others have said, these shoes do run about half a size to small. I usually wear a size 12 in men’s, glad I ordered the 12.5 as well. The 12.5 fit so much better. Don’t be discouraged, however. Different brands and styles can be like that. Besides the half size smaller, I looooooove the sock -like fit of the shoe. It’s light, and the rocker effect at the front of the shoe will help propel me forwards. I specifically bought these for an endurance hiking event I’m doing in Canada and feel confident that these shoes will help get me to my goal!

I blew through three pairs of the SG 5's and opted that my next purchase was the mafate 4. That mafate served me well but after some shin splints I decided to go back to the faithful speedgoat. I love the new SG 6 , the mafate was just to HEAVY, soft and mushy , the speedboat 6 is very light, stable, firm, and quick on technical terrain. My only gripe is the god aweful color choices. The 6 is a massive upgrade over the 5 and now having experienced it vs the mafate 4 speed it's clear the mafate doesn't deserve the "speed" in its name. The mafate is a big mushy brick compared to the speedgoat 6 ! Please give us better design athstetic and colors!!!

1 use, stained with simply mood... Impossible to clean! I've used multiple products and was frustrating.
Insoles cleaned with a brush and there's a damage in superior cloth matherial.
I was expecting more from Hoka about $150+ value shoes but no.

Lightweight with great support and cushioning - for all day standing, working out and walking.

I previously ran with Stinson on the trails, I loved this shoe for comfort and never had any issues with blisters on an ultra. However I found them extremely sloppy on mud and rocks as the grips were so small. Speedboat 6 I was hoping was the answer - Hoka seemed to be super comfy in Stinson so thought these with the grip would be perfect. They are quite a bit firmer which I can maybe get used too however I'm getting a lot of blisters on the sole which I've never had before - if I could put these grips onto Stinson I'd be sold

Tread is nice, tongue stitching fell out after 4 weeks and the padded tongue split into 2 pieces. The rubber guard over the shoe fabric above the sole is also falling off. Very disappointed.

My first speed goat. Coming off altras, Northface, and asics I thought I'd give it a try as I liked one of the two road running Hokas I have. It's like and wow the sole is stiff not quite hard but no motion either. The grip is decent in light mud on flat ground but do not under any circumstances get near anything wet, the vibram rubber loses all friction might as well be ice. Fits decent and I've had no problem with construction quality 40ish miles in.

First, your Return Policy is AMAZING, the Speedgoat 6 runs smaller than the 5, so a 5 I wear size 9, a 6 a size 10, have been a Saucony user for 30 years, won't go back after using HOKA shoes.

These shoes where ok for shorter runs but found out recently that on longer technical runs, I had problems with the sides digging into my ankles. I use the heel lock lacing style. With this type lacing along with the shorter tongue, I have problems with the lacing/ tongue aggravating my feet on longer runs. I didn't have this issue on my speedgoat 5s.

I bought these for my adult son and he loved them. He wore them on vacation where we walked miles everyday and he was extremely comfortable.

Feels like plastic, nothing like the generation 5. Not a comfortable walk.

The fit of this shoe was exceptional, the Vibram out sole was everything you need on the trails, the midsole however was rock hard out of the box and has not shown any sign of breaking in after 150 miles.
It's painful on the bottom of my feet to run more than 10 miles in these. I loved the rest of the shoe, but the midsole makes them unbearable. Fingers crossed for SG7.

Very pretty sneaker. However, the toe on the men’s size for my husband that I got him was much too tight and he was very uncomfortable in it. Funny thing he bought the same sneaker also in another color the army color. And that would fit perfect! So it’s kind of weird, but the two shoes were the same brand and the same size and the same with and they just fit different. He’s very happy with the green color for the fit and the comfort.

Not Hoka shoe soft. Fit is also just ok, lacing is constantly pulling up the front and making it too tight.

Find it hard to understand some of the reviews on this shoe because they are so outstanding. Love the stiffer midsole and the volume that is perfect for my C width high instep foot. Will definitely be putting a few extra pair of these away for the long term. They are my favorite hiking shoe by far.

I'm not a fan of the new speedgoat 6. I was a big fan of the 5 edition. I hike about 650 miles a year in desert and mountain terrain. I've bought 6 pairs in the last 2 years and down to my last pair that's not a slick. I was very disappointed when I tried them on and they were too tight. I order only wide shoes these were not as wide as the speedgoat 5's. I played them sole to sole and the 5's were a 1/4 " wider

I will take some of the responsibility for not researching this shoe better. I was looking for a good sturdy gym shoe to do light cardio and weightlifting in. something comparable to the "Clifton" or the "Bondi 8." Both of which I have had very good luck with. The "Speedgoat," as the name would suggest is a very light running shoe with a funky, hard to get straight, tongue. The shoe looks very nice. It also needs a better insert. Finally, if you're contemplating getting this shoe and don't know if you should get a wide dimension......definitely get a WIDE!

Hoka was my shoe. I told everyone about them. They changed everything for me on the trails. The helped me knees and feet. I have bought 15 pairs of Speedgoats. I have three pairs of the 6s. I keep hoping they will break in and feel better. Two big changes. My heel feels likes pins are sticking in them, and the change from 4mm to 5mm has impacted me knees. Please change this back or bring back the 5 for an option. I need the wide option. Please and thank you! I just bought a different brand seeing if they will work. It's not what I want because Hoka is my shoe.

Disappointed, digs into ankles. 1st pair of Hoka, wanted to try something different for running the trails, digs into ankles, made different, maybe for people with higher ankles, won't buy hoka's, only plus looks nice , but not functional.

got to tell you I purchased a pair of speed goats and found the quality lacking. the insoles slip up on one shoe every time I wear them. the go down on the other shoe sometimes. the vibram sole is coming off on one. I've only worn them about a dozen times for casual wear. too bad, otherwise they seem nice
