I've been wearing Arahi for several years so was thrilled for the 7's. Unfortunately these were an epic fail- the hard section for the laces dug into my foot (literally cutting it within 5 minutes of a run), the toe box is incredibly narrow (even in wide) and it feels like a completely different shoe. I searched high and low and acquired a few pairs of 6's which will hopefully last me to Arahi 8. If the model stays the same I'll have to switch to a different brand.

I tried two different pairs, Arahi 6 and 7. Both were narrow in the toe box, hard in the sole and unforgiving in the arch. They are absolutely nothing like the original Arahi made by the original Hoka company before it sold out to a conglomerate. My old Arahi shoes were like running on air and lasted a good 2 years. These stiff, painful, tight shoes are worthless. I'm going to New Balance or Adidas to find a decent shoe. Who cares what the shoes look like if you can't even stand in them?

I Have LOVED All My Hoka Arahi 's I've had 5 pairs since 2020. I have Flat feet& after years of running had 2 foot surgeries & a knee replacement these are the ONLY sneakers I could wear .. This new series was so uncomfortable immediately when I started to walk. It's more narrow & the inner part of the sneaker is pressing on my foot which is unbearable. Extremely Disappointed!!!!

The minute I slipped on the Arahi 6, I became an instant Hoka fan! I had gone to podiatrists and had physical therapy for foot pain, one Dr pointed me in the direction of a certain shoe store that fitted me with the Arahi 6 and my foot pain was totally gone within a month! A year has gone by and I went back to get a new pair, I'm glad I only bought one! I do not like the Arahi 7s and will be returning them! The fabric on top feels so heavy, and so restrictive! My feet feel squished! Very disappointed in this change.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but it just did not fit rubbed a blister on my baby toe, and the arch support was rubbing on the underside of the foot

As an owner of multiple pairs of the Arahi 5 and 6, I was looking forward to the Arahi 7. I'm an over-pronator with bad knees and ankles, and previous versions of the Arahi have been a life saver for me. Unfortunately I found the Arahi 7's to be very uncomfortable (the padding at the bottom was as hard as a rock), the arches too high and hard, and the upper mesh too flimsy and making a weird popping motion/sound whenever I moved. Their one good attribute is that they do fit true to size. I am normally a size 9 in every day shoes, but wear a 10 in running shoes, and these fit as expected. I really hope Hoka goes back to the design of the Arahi 5 and 6, because the 7's are unfortunately unwearable for me. I returned them and am just trying to make my old Arahi 6's work for now.

This is the first time I bought this shoe Arahi 7,, I really wanted to fall in love with this shoe,,but after wearing at one time, it caused a blister on my small toe and on my foot. The shoe is so stiff,, and my feet feel really hot when I wear it. The toebox feels smaller than it should be. So I have to return it. Hopefully I can find a more comfortable shoe.

Please bring back the Arahi 6s. I fell in love with Hoka because of that shoe. Arahi 7 doesn't support my feet like 6s. Unfortunately I will be returning them.

I would love a refund. These shoes are hurting my fit. I'm a pharmacy tech and I walk for eight hours a day and mid my shift my feet are in real pain.

I am a nurse that usually loves Hoka, but my third pair with the brand have been terrible. I have had them since the beginning of the month and a few weeks later the bottom shoe grips are already peeling off.

I thought that this tennis shoe was going to be comfortable like the other two I have, but no, they are hard and make my heels and also the soles of my feet hurt.

Not supportive enough for what I'm looking for. I am a hairstylist looking for extra thick cushion to support my aching feet for 8-10 hours.

I heard such great things about Hoka's but they did not meet my expectations. They feel heavy, bulky and tight across the top. I have worn them several times thinking they would stretch, but they haven't at all. Don't buy these if you are looking for a comfortable running shoe, believe the bad reviews.

I don't understand how they could take the wonderful Arahi 6 and turn the 7 into such a horrible shoe. Yes it's beautiful looking and all but if you can't run let alone walk in it, then what's the point? There is no arch support and my planter fascists burns while using this shoe. I finally put in my old inserts but I won't be walking around much in this shoe. Such a shame.

I should have listened to all of the reviews. I have a narrow foot but this shoe is narrow. It’s also so hard and uncomfortable. I ordered a different style after this one.

Every time I buy a pair of Hokas, they seem smaller and narrow and cheap made. Little support on the shoe. Ready for a different brand

I have always loved this brand but am very disappointed with the quality of the Arahi. Not nearly as comfortable and do not like working out in them.

I am a huge Arahi fan. I have turned so many people onto Hoka and my fellow overpronators onto the Arahi and have loved them. I had read the reviews but was hoping that perhaps they were not that bad. However, not only are they narrower than the 6s, it is like running in soccer cleats. They are so hard (or firm, I guess they call it) that it feels as if they forgot to finish the shoe or forgot to add some plushness to them. Had I never run in Arahi before I would just assume that it's the way the shoes are made, but I ave been running in them for years. It's like a can't wait to put my old pair on. Even out of the box the 6s were so comfortable and stable. These have to be the most uncomfortable running shoes I have ever worn. What is with the dramatic change??? It certainly was not an improvement.

What has happened to the rokmy sizing? A 9 wide should be roomy. This feels like an 8.5 regular. I have both at home to compare so this is an accurate comparison. Tired of returning shoes that do not fit and rub uncomfortably. This is Hoka not some cheap shoe. What has happened to Hoka's quality?

I love my Arahi 6 and eagerly waited for the 7. Imagine my disappointment when I put the 7 on and it was NOTHING like the 6. Too stiff, way too heavy and just an all around no.

I returned due to fit. I have a wide foot. I ordered a half size longer and a size wide and couldn’t get my foot into the shoe. I believe they are primarily made for people with narrow feet. They were high quality and a nice style and color, just extremely narrow.

I have been wearing the Arahi model for years for running, walking, and work. This version is nothing like the others. It is much stiffer and tighter. I wore around the house for a bit thinking maybe I needed to break them in? I don't remember a break-in period with the older versions. My toes felt extremely squished and it was so uncomfortable. I returned unfortunately. Maybe I need to go up a size and go with a wider version? I am disappointed that the fit isn't consistent.
