My first HOKA's were the Arahi 6, felt great soon as I tried them on bought 2 pairs, so when the 7 came out I ordered two pairs first try on felt great after a month I have callus on side of feet, bottom of feet sore. I returned one pair the most recent pair I bought the vanilla pair which like everyone said is pink, i should have listened. What a disappointment the first pair I did not return yet, I may go to store and see if I can find a better fit and exchange if it's not too late.

I have worn Hoka Arahi for years. I had four different colors of the 6 and was excited about the release of the 7. I ordered a pair the day they released and couldn't wait to get them. I am so disappointed ! I've always been able to wear the Arahi right out of the box with no issues , but the 7 is very stiff and not very cushioned. I've tried then over and over since I got them and they're still not broken in. They feel clunky and not like the older versions. Please re release 6!

I LOVED the Arahi 6. Had them in multiple colors for both running and walking. The Arahi 7 just do not compare. The 7 are much more narrow and the upper material is so stiff. You can feel it bend and return as you take each step. I returned my initial order to then try the wide (I never buy wide shoes but thought it could be worth a shot) but unfortunately the stiffness was still present so it didn't matter. Had to return them. Really wish the 6 were still available. Why change what isn't broken?!

Work Arahi for years but the last couple style changes have made it narrower, uncomfortable, and weirdly loose in the ankle. Hope HOKA comes out with similar color ways for other styles, especially Gaviota.

It's always disappointing when a beloved product is "upgraded" for the worse. I've loved the Clifton 9's for distance running and Arahi 6 for faster runs. Unfortunately these Arahi 7's fit tight (even in wide width) and the upper mesh is inflexible leaving my feet feeling cramped with no room to breathe. The outersole also feels hard and inflexible. Maybe they need to be broken in? Usually Hokas are comfortable for me right out of the box, so I'm doubtful.

I have been wearing the arahi model of the hokas for the last 4 years (since the arahi 4). I overpronate when I run so this was a great stability shoe. I was super excited for the Arahi 7's I love the new color waves and the upgrades were what I have been looking for. I wore the Arahi 7's on 2 runs. I wore it for a workout and a 6 mile easy run. This shoe completely destroyed my heel. I got a huge blister after wearing them for these runs. I tried to adjust them to make them not rub and cause a blister but I could not fix them. I am really disappointed about this because I love the Arahis and hoka in general but I do not recommend these shoes.

It hurts just putting my foot in the Arahi's, as they are narrower than marked (D). I have worn many Hoka's over past 5 years. I am disappointed. Back to the MACH's and Challenger's. I wanted to try something more plush which is why I chose this style and reading a review on how plush Arahi's were.

I love the Arahi 6 but this new 7 drops at the front and really puts pressure on my big toe bone. I returned them because I miss the arahi 6 and need to switch over the ON cloud because the support seems to be better. I wish I could love these as much as the Arahi 6 because those are a diamond in stability shoes.

I have flat feet and I love my arahi 6's (which I already wear in wide), so I got the new arahi 7's in wide but they're so narrow. I get blisters on the insides of my arches when running. They're great for walking but not for running.

I have very flat feet and am prone to plantar fasciitis, shin splints and I overpronate. I'd read that the Arahi 6 were the shoes for me so I was sad that those are hard to find in my size. I thought the 7s would work fine. Woof, no. They are very stiff, did not help shin splints, and made the bottom of my feet ache so badly. I used them for a couple of weeks, daily (for walking) and they just hurt. Going to try the Clifton 9s (Bondi 8s are just ok).

The fit on this sneaker (Arahi 7) is NOT comparable to the Arahi 6 fit. I bought 2 pairs of the Arahi 6 over the past 3 years and LOVED them. This sneaker is supposed to be similar to its predecessor, but unfortunately that is not the case. I had to buy thinner socks just so my feet didn't feel pinched. Would not recommend.

I've been buying arahi hokas for years but have to say it stops at the 7's. The body is made out of different material and fits way too big. I returned and upgraded to the Bondis and totally love them.

Purchased shoe for its stability and also loved the color, too. The upper portion of the shoe fit fine, but the bottom portion/sole was uncomfortable. Initially, I just thought it was the newness of the shoe, but it continued to be a problem.

I am looking to replace my much loved Gaviota 4s for walking 5-7 miles/day, have narrowish feet and plantar fasciitis. The Gaviota 5s are too wide. I found the Arahi 7's to be too short in length for one foot, which has never happened to me w any other 9.5s from Hoka or other running shoe brands. I wear a 9 or 9.5 in sandals and boots. While I liked the narrowness of the Arahi 7's, I found them to be uncomfortably firm especially in the heels. They do feel light weight, so at least there's that. I have to return these though and will continue to look for a replacement for my beloved Gaviota 4s.

Only worn once and were very uncomfortable. I have two pair of the 6 that I love. If these don't get any more comfortable I won't be buying Hoka any longer.

Always worn Gaviota, but the store I went to didn't have them. They talked me into an Arahi 7. In two miles of walking, heel pain started and I had to get them off. The new Gaviota has such bad reviews from former wearers, because they've changed it, I don't know what to do!!

I always wear On Running but I thought I would try Hoka. They were very tight, I ordered a size 6. I'm not sure if I should return or order a half size bigger? They seem narrow. I like the look of the shoe. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day.

I'm going to return the Arahi 7. I didn't feel they were as supportive as the Clinton 9 or Bondi 7. I'm actually going to step back from Hoka's. You are creating style after style and I'm obsessed with finding the right pair with little direction as far as what pair is really the best for a daily 4 mile walker at a quick pace. With all the different styles you've introduced, there hasn't been a match or better to the Bondi 7.

I fell in love with my first pair of Arahi 6! I should have bought many more of them while I could. I bought the Arahi 7 and they do not feel anything like the 6. I've never had a "wide" foot, but the vast difference in how much narrower the Arahi 7 is compared to the Arahi 6 was enough to sway me to return. I wanted to love the the 7, but they were returned.

I have always liked the support of the Arahis. I need it because I have a tendency to roll in. However, I also like running in plush comfortable shoes and I used to be able to find that in Arahis but now? No cushion at all. A few of the updates in the 7 are nice - I like the upper and I do feel like it slides around less in the midfoot. The problem is that there is NO CUSHION compared to older models. It is not comfortable to run in because I feel every single bit of impact. I put on one 7 and one 5 that I have been running in for years. The old, broken down, worn-in shoe had significantly more cushion left, and that's not a good sign. Bring back the comfort and cushion of the old models! Stability shoes should still be comfy!

I sell shoes at an outdoor recreation store. I wear the Arahi 6s (sometimes the Gaveotia 5s) because I stand on concrete all day (I also overpronate-- that is to say, my feet tend to slump inwards). As I understand, the main thing that changed in the Arahi 7s is the upper, which switched from an engineered mesh in the 6s to a flat-knit in the 7s. The flat-knit feels hotter. I can just tell they don't breathe as well. The fabric also seems stiffer. Where the toe box bends as I go up on the balls on my foot there is this "popping" feeling as the ridged materials snap back and forth. It's slight, but it's there. I assume this is the new flat-knit material at work. As for the width issue, many people have mentioned the Arahi 7 feels narrower than the 6. I can only assume this shrink in width is due to a combination of the flat-knit upper being less flexible and the new plush tongue taking up more volume in the shoe, because to my knowledge nothing else about the Arahi 7 has changed. As someone who fluctuates between standard and wide fits, the 7s lean too much towards the narrow side for me to be able to wear it. While I appreciate HOKA's attempt to innovate and improve upon the Arahi series, I am puzzled by such a drastic change, particularly in the narrowing fit and the shoe's heat retention. These changes seem unlikely to resonate with a broad range of users.

I have had multiple pairs of HOKAs but when they first came out. Since then, I’ve tried a few different pairs , but they have too much cushion on the bottom and it causes me to trip because I have an abnormal gait due to CP. I wanted to give these a try because I have a similar pair of shoes that have just as much stack height. These were super narrow and felt a half smaller than my usual size. Definitely a firm feeling shoe not very much cushion at all.
