These are great looking shoes but they just did not fit me comfortably. I need wide and they are just not wide enough in the arch area. I put my own orthotic and they are not wide enouth.

Just received the new Arahi 7 today and was very disappointed. The side of the heel is much lower than the 6, and my right heel, which is overpronated, rolls inward in these shoes, even though side stability is one of the main features. The 6 gave my heels so much more support, and my feet are very unstable in the 7. As others have said, the toe box is more narrow and feels very constricted. I wanted to love it, but it's going back.

These shoes are not as comfortable as other shoes. These actually have made my feet hurt. Hoping maybe once I break them in they will be better. They are super cute though

I got these because I like the flatter shoe of the Arahi. But, I got these in a wide . Which I need. I also like the Arahi wide because I need the width in the front, and the rest of the shoe I do not. But, these are so tight in the front that I I can hardly stand to wear them. And, they are defective. The side of the forefront is not even attached to the material. I just ordered a different shoe. I have no Idea if they will work. Why did you have to narrow the front so much ? So frustrating!

I have a normal size foot, but this felt narrow. The insole on one side felt sharp and I could feel it on the outer side of my foot every time I stepped and knew that it would most like be an issue - so I returned.

Very NARROW. I have a normal to narrow foot but the fit was so tight. Also used the Hoka size chart and it listed 10 inches should order a size 9. I should have ordered 9 1/2 or 10. I ordered the purple which was a pretty color.

Like many others, the Arahi 7 is a disappointment after loving the Arahi 6! Too tight, pulls my sock down my heel with every step, makes my feet cramp up almost immediately, and even though it feels like my heel will slip out, the back also seems too high. I wish I could get another pair of the Arahi 6!

These shoes are so uncomfortable. I purchased them because I do parties and I am walking a lot. But these are not good for that at all. The soils are very hard no support. The off the shoes is very stiff so when I walk it hurts. I can maybe do an hour in them and that's it. My feet start to sweat so badly and I can't handle them and end up going back to scetchers.

I read all of the comments and was super hesitant to buy but I did anyways. I have loved and worn around 5 pair of Arahi 5&6 with the best results for my plantar fasciitis and 12 hour shifts at work but the 7 has felt like a break-up! The shoes are totally different and do not fit as they have in the past and there is nothing else even close!

I have really been wanting to like these, but the shoe is WAYYY too narrow. I wish I could submit pictures of how poorly they treated the inside of my foot during a 6 mile run. I have been running for years so I know that I do not have wide feet and therefore got the standard shoe. So disappointed because I was really looking for a supportive shoe that is worth the hype and still have NOT found it. Also if you're looking at this shoe to help with some excessive pronation, look to a different shoe, because the backs of my shoes have now angled in with my ankle almost immediately instead of remaining straight up and down. Poor quality all the way around.

Went through multiple pairs of Arahi 6's and LOVED them due to the relief they provided for my chronic tendinitis and overprotonation. I didn't care that I had to replace them every 6 months from wear, they were the only shoe I've ever worn that truly felt great when on my feet for long periods of time. I finally had to replace my old worn out 6's with the 7's about a week ago and my tendinitis is flaring up again after multiple 9 hour work shifts on my feet. Ordered medium fit rather than the regular and even then the toe box is incredibly narrow. The lateral side of the shoe does not provide nearly as much support as the 6's and the ankle hits at a different spot on these which can cause some pain on your Achilles. If you're looking for a good 6 replacement and experience issues with your feet, these may not be the ones.

Definitely won't be buying Hoka's again. Unfortunately I'm just past the 1 year warranty, but I've put very little mileage (maybe 20 miles!) on this shoe - mostly limited indoor wear - and yet the sole is peeling away on the bottom and the shoelaces are shredding?! Never experienced this before. The lack of durability is incredibly disappointing at the price point.

I bought this shoe the same day I heard it hit the shelves. LOVED every step of my 15K and then I took a 2 month break from running after my surgery, so the next time I put them on was to run my 5K. Well ... after I took them off I noticed that the sole incoming off. Mind the shoes don't even have 20 miles on them yet. I really love this shoe, especially this being my first Hoka for running, but now I cannot even run in it.

So disappointed. Toe box so much more narrow than Ahari 6, even after ordering in a Wide. Definitely feels like the quality has gone downhill. The heel slips, less cushion in the foundation of the shoe and bottom is stiff and plastic feeling.

i like the way the shoe looks. the front of the shoe is very tight, usually buy regular fit, but maybe I should have bought a wide width. and my arch is sore from walking, i do have flat feet, but my other Hoka shoes don't make my feet sore. i need to return and get another style.

I bought my first pair of Arahi 6 on the recommendation of a colleague and loved it! Comfortable fit (need to size up by .5), good support, lightweight, branding was not too loud, colors were on point. Loved it so much that I bought 3 more pairs. With that being said, wanted to get another pair in a different color just to find that this model is no longer available. The next gen looks slightly different from the 6, and from the negative comments on here, appears that HOKA downgraded the shoe which is a shame. Ordered the Mach 6 instead and hoping it will be as comfort as my Arahi 6s.

Loved the white, but the sole is much harder than previous models. These hurt my feet after an hour or two. Last year's Anacapa Breeze had the same problem; this year it's fine. I do wish Hoka models were more consistent from year to year. It's frustrating and wastes my time. It makes me want to find a company with more stability.

I've worn and loved Arahis for years. Unfortunately this year's version 7 takes the Arahi downhill. The sole is downright hard and made my foot hurt after just an hour or two. Never had that experience before with this model. Last year I had a similar problem with Hoka's Anacapa Breeze (but not the regular Anacapa); this year's Anacapa Breeze is fine. I wish Hoka models were more consistent from year to year. It's frustrating.

I have been wearing Hokas for years now and I have loved them until this edition. The always comfortable and reliable show slips on my feet, causes pain on the side of my foot because they are so much more. narrow. I may not buy again because for $150, they should be comfortable.

I have been trying to find a good walking shoe, and have heard so many recommendations for HOKA. I finally bit the bullet and spent the money and I'm so disappointed! They seem to fit but the first walk and I was in so much pain. Tried to push through and walked in them three days in a row before giving up. I wanted to love them so much.

I have bought MANY different Hokas Mach X, Mach 6, Cliftons and Bondi's, Kawana, Skyward X and they are always size 8 and fit beautiful/perfect. This is the first Hoka shoe that does not fit. My mom got an older style of Arahi that she loves, so i thought I would give it a try to buy for her, she and I wear the same size 8 in Hoka. This particular shoe runs MUCH narrow . I never had previously purchased wides in any Hoka, nor had to buy size 8.5. I just recently bought several different new pairs for both she and I so our foot is the same , the shoe is just smaller and or more narrow because the toe is very close to the front of shoe. I had already ordered the next size up 8.5 to see if it will work or will have to return it. They unfortunately do not have wides in that particular color so that is not an option.
