I have been wearing these shoes for at least 5 years. I got a new pair and first the changes made me go up a size. Then I get them home and each time I walk in them for any length of time my feet are killing me. I will be finding a new shoe but I am so disappointed these shoes are not cheap and I can't wear them.

I like the walking shoe, but they are too narrow. If I order another pair, I would order 8 Wide. Also I didn't save return or exchange info.

I have loved the Arahi and worn it for many years. The minute I put the Arahi 7 on I knew it was different. It is much tighter around the toe box, I don't feel like my feet are on clouds anymore, and the tongue of the shoe is weird. I ran in them 4 times and stopped. Just do not feel right. I'm so sad. Now have to find a new running shoe.

I have worn the Arahi 5 and 6. They usually last me 6 months. I have worn these Arahi 7s only 3 months and they are already completely worn down. My feet are killing me. The quality just isn’t the same. I hope they improve this. I’m very disappointed.

I have had these for one month, without a lot of wear, so this review shocks me. I have wide feet and pronate. These are comfortable, but the side that rims your ankle and the back where my heel hits is falling apart. After one month of minimal wear! Wild.

I purchased Hokas because of how many people I heard say they were the best and had no pain. I purchased them specifically for a 90 hour work week and by the end of day one I have never had worse ankle pain. I did wear them three days in the office before wearing them on the week I was on my feet a lot. Not a good show for me and will not wear again. Disappointed with the price.

Over pronation, flat feet, overweight . Arahi 6 was the only shoe I could wear comfortably at work all day on my feet with my orthotics. No where locally has half sizes, so I bought Arahi 7 online. Every time I've tried to wear them they dig into my arches. The footbed is narrow and my orthotics rub and squeak with every step. I didn't return them because I tried and tried to break them in thinking the issue would resolve. A year later they are still uncomfortable. I dont understand why companies create a great product and then change it drastically. I've wasted $300+ on shoes I've never been able to wear. My 2 pairs of old Arahi 6's are still in my closet. They are aesthetically worn out, but I still wear them to work around the house because they are still so comfortable.

I purchased Hoka's on a recommendation. I thought these could be something I could wear daily but I find they hurt my feet after a few hours so as soon as I get home, off they come. I even purchase the bigger size according to FAQ on the site.

I have not been able to find the right size in the Arahi 7. I used to wear 9.5 in Arahi 6. I bought the same size in the 7, but the toe box didn't have enough room. I lost a toe nail and I now have calluses on both feet. I went and purchased a wide, and it was way too big, so I went a size smaller. The toe box is fine, but now the back of the shoe slides all over. I've tried several different ways to tie my shoe so that didn't happen. Nothing works. My ankles are sore and it feels like my Achilles tendinitis is coming back. The reason I bought Hoka's and was fitted for the 6 was because of my Achilles issues. When I wore 6, I never had a problem. I loved that show. Anyway, not happy at all with the 7.

These are great looking shoes but they just did not fit me comfortably. I need wide and they are just not wide enough in the arch area. I put my own orthotic and they are not wide enouth.

Just received the new Arahi 7 today and was very disappointed. The side of the heel is much lower than the 6, and my right heel, which is overpronated, rolls inward in these shoes, even though side stability is one of the main features. The 6 gave my heels so much more support, and my feet are very unstable in the 7. As others have said, the toe box is more narrow and feels very constricted. I wanted to love it, but it's going back.

These shoes are not as comfortable as other shoes. These actually have made my feet hurt. Hoping maybe once I break them in they will be better. They are super cute though

I got these because I like the flatter shoe of the Arahi. But, I got these in a wide . Which I need. I also like the Arahi wide because I need the width in the front, and the rest of the shoe I do not. But, these are so tight in the front that I I can hardly stand to wear them. And, they are defective. The side of the forefront is not even attached to the material. I just ordered a different shoe. I have no Idea if they will work. Why did you have to narrow the front so much ? So frustrating!

I have a normal size foot, but this felt narrow. The insole on one side felt sharp and I could feel it on the outer side of my foot every time I stepped and knew that it would most like be an issue - so I returned.

Very NARROW. I have a normal to narrow foot but the fit was so tight. Also used the Hoka size chart and it listed 10 inches should order a size 9. I should have ordered 9 1/2 or 10. I ordered the purple which was a pretty color.

Like many others, the Arahi 7 is a disappointment after loving the Arahi 6! Too tight, pulls my sock down my heel with every step, makes my feet cramp up almost immediately, and even though it feels like my heel will slip out, the back also seems too high. I wish I could get another pair of the Arahi 6!

These shoes are so uncomfortable. I purchased them because I do parties and I am walking a lot. But these are not good for that at all. The soils are very hard no support. The off the shoes is very stiff so when I walk it hurts. I can maybe do an hour in them and that's it. My feet start to sweat so badly and I can't handle them and end up going back to scetchers.

I read all of the comments and was super hesitant to buy but I did anyways. I have loved and worn around 5 pair of Arahi 5&6 with the best results for my plantar fasciitis and 12 hour shifts at work but the 7 has felt like a break-up! The shoes are totally different and do not fit as they have in the past and there is nothing else even close!

I have really been wanting to like these, but the shoe is WAYYY too narrow. I wish I could submit pictures of how poorly they treated the inside of my foot during a 6 mile run. I have been running for years so I know that I do not have wide feet and therefore got the standard shoe. So disappointed because I was really looking for a supportive shoe that is worth the hype and still have NOT found it. Also if you're looking at this shoe to help with some excessive pronation, look to a different shoe, because the backs of my shoes have now angled in with my ankle almost immediately instead of remaining straight up and down. Poor quality all the way around.

Went through multiple pairs of Arahi 6's and LOVED them due to the relief they provided for my chronic tendinitis and overprotonation. I didn't care that I had to replace them every 6 months from wear, they were the only shoe I've ever worn that truly felt great when on my feet for long periods of time. I finally had to replace my old worn out 6's with the 7's about a week ago and my tendinitis is flaring up again after multiple 9 hour work shifts on my feet.
Ordered medium fit rather than the regular and even then the toe box is incredibly narrow. The lateral side of the shoe does not provide nearly as much support as the 6's and the ankle hits at a different spot on these which can cause some pain on your Achilles. If you're looking for a good 6 replacement and experience issues with your feet, these may not be the ones.

Definitely won't be buying Hoka's again. Unfortunately I'm just past the 1 year warranty, but I've put very little mileage (maybe 20 miles!) on this shoe - mostly limited indoor wear - and yet the sole is peeling away on the bottom and the shoelaces are shredding?! Never experienced this before. The lack of durability is incredibly disappointing at the price point.

I bought this shoe the same day I heard it hit the shelves. LOVED every step of my 15K and then I took a 2 month break from running after my surgery, so the next time I put them on was to run my 5K. Well ... after I took them off I noticed that the sole incoming off. Mind the shoes don't even have 20 miles on them yet. I really love this shoe, especially this being my first Hoka for running, but now I cannot even run in it.
