I was very disappointed in these shoes. They were very tight and narrow on the foot with not much arch support. They actually hurt my feet after 5 minutes of trying them on. The style I must say looked really nice.

These shoes are very comfortable and good for walking and weightlifting
I purchased them in April. Unfortunately the tread is already pulling off on the bottom of my shoes. When I had the Clifton's that didn't start happening until I had worn them almost daily for a year.

I wish they didn't release this version, the 6 was perfect for my feet. I got the 7 thinking that it would be better. but it isn't. They make the toe box narrower than the 6, even for the wide size, and the upper material is so stiff. Also, it fits weirdly as it isn't the same as the 6. I look online to find any Arahi 6, and I can't find any :(. I tried another pair of shoes from Hoka, but nothing fit the same for my wide feet.

I wanted to love these, but my last few pair of Hokas have really hurt my feet. As a long distance runner I need relatable shoes that don't hurt. I am not sure if the products have changed in the last few years, or I need a more plush shoe!

This would have been my sixth pair of Hokas. This was the first time to order this style, by the advice of a Hoka rep. It was very narrow and the sole was non-flexible, for the most part. I was very disappointed, having purchased so many Hokas previously. I walk between 2-4 miles daily. So, I know a bit about walking comfort. I have always worn the RINCON 3 and the BONDI 7. They were excellent. I wish they were still available.

This is my fourth pair of Arahis. I love the way they feel. This pair, however they were manufactured, squeak when I walk on hard floors including wood, cement, and linoleum. I didn't try them on until after the return window had passed. If I could return them, I would. They are so annoying.

The first pair I got a 9.5B, my normal size. They were about a half size too big. I returned for a 9B but they are too narrow. So next time I'll try a 9W and maybe I'll get it right.

I have been wearing HOKA'S for many years without a problem, but not so much anymore! I used to be able to buy a pair of HOKA'S, put them on and just go about my business - no issues. Now, it feels like I have to "break in" the sneakers before they feel comfortable. The material is too hard! The back is too high. The soles are too clunky looking, etc. etc. Not a fan anymore!
I just found a pair of Brooks that feel the way HOKA'S used to feel way back when!

Labeled as wide but they compress the outside three toes and rub. These do not feel wide. I got a second pair in this style and they fit the same and feel narrow. Good mid level cushioning, fit the hell well. Returning.

This is my first purchase, everybody rants and raves about how wonderful hokas are, I just don't understand the hype, for the expense. My first impression when I put the shoe on was it felt like cardboard on my feet. There's no support in the top of the shoe.... I wore them yesterday for a long walk, and was very disappointed! I guess for the price I was expecting something special. I must be in the minority group but I find these not anything worth the hype!!!

I have had other pairs of Arahi. The minute I put these on they were uncomfortable, unlike my other ones. From what I understood they only changed the fabric to be more breathable. This is not the case. Notice the piping around the ankle that is new. The thing that makes it the most uncomfortable is how it fits around the ankle (very stiff). This is nothing like the prior models I have had more than three pairs over the years like Arahi 5 or 6. Please go back to the old design. Gaviota was done the same way so I will probably go back to New Balance. I need stability, a wide toebox, and something that is comfortable to walk in a long time.

I purchased the Arahi around the end of last September after hearing great things about Hoka. I was excited to invest in a pair, but unfortunately, they didn't live up to the hype.
After just a few weeks, I started experiencing back pain when wearing them which went away when I switched to other shoes. I gave them a fair chance and kept wearing them, but after 34 months of discomfort, I had to stop using them altogether.
On top of that, the shoes began to fray around the laces. The stitching came undone and the fabric started to fall apart. I reached out to Hoka's warranty department with photos, but my claim was denied.
I'm incredibly disappointed both in the quality of the product and the lack of support from your warranty team. I had high hopes that Hoka would be different from legacy brands, but sadly, that wasn't the case.

Have worn the Arahi before and really liked it. This one is STIFF and remarkably narrow, even though I ordered the wide. Sadly, this Arahi is the least comfortable HOKA I have ever purchased.

What happened to the Arahi? I fell in love with the Arahi 6's and thought I found my dream all-around walking and everyday running shoe. it fit like a glove and the cushioning was like no other. I looked forward to wearing them and I could count on them to deliver the comfort my legs and feet needed in times of fatigue. I put the Arahi 7 on yesterday and it felt like an entirely different shoe. It was hard and felt like I was putting my foot into a corkbed Birkenstock. I had to look on the box to make sure I wasn't sent a different model. I'm utterly dissappointed and can't understand why they'd make such a drastic change. There is no justifying the price tag for this level of non-comfort. Feels like a worn out pair of 4 year old running shoes. Bring the 6's back, Hoka!

I have heard nothing but good things about this company and footwear. With that said I purchased the Arahi 7 for walking. The fit was snug (9.5 which is my size) which was not a problem. Arch support check. What I found was not comfortable was the very stiff sole. I was expecting to be feeling I was walking on a cloud. Not the case. Additionally the lace grommet sat uncomfortably on my foot where it pressed on a foot bone. I will say customer service was more than helpful with my return even after I had gave the shoe a good try of wearing 7X and walking 3-5 miles each time. So I have not given up and will try the Bondi 9.

The shoe was too stiff. I could not walk heel to toe and one should walk. It was so stiff it would not bend accordingly.

The Arahi line has been my go-to shoe for years. The "upgrade" to Arahi 7 was a huge downgrade - I don't like these shoes at all anymore, but I feel stuck with them because I need the stability. Please add the plush cusion back!

I wore them first time yesterday to rodeo, a lot of walking, and my insteps were sore, they are too tight. I'm going to wear one more time to see if they loosen up, if not will have to return.i do like the cushion they provide

I tried the Arahi 7 normal width and wide versions. The normal width was far too narrow in the toe box. My toes were squished together. The wide was better, but the shoe was too stiff around my ankle. It caused so much painhitting my lateral malleolus with each stepand I had to return them.
The insole was comfortable, and I appreciated the padded tongue. I wish I could have kept them to give them a good try.
