I was accustomed to Clifton 8 series...this line is stiffer and tighter...I'll be interested to see if if softens in the course of running

The bottom is very stiff, and I tried 3 runs and still uncomfortable. Though true to size and width is OK, but the shoes feel longer and my feet kept sliding out of them.

I need to return due to "does not fit." There was no packing slip and no instructions for return. The shoes are beautiful to look at. My last were Arahi 5's. However, they were 9-D and 9 1/2 D's. This pair was not a D. I will be returning once I get instructions for return authorization. I hope to get an appropriate replacement. Hoka Arahi shoes have consistently worked well for me from day one with no break-in time needed,

I've liked the older versions of Arahi. I am surprised how the Arahi 7 is a little too narrow than its predecessors. I am not so sure if I want to buy Arahis again.

This is the 3rd pair of Arahi 7s I've purchased. I loved the previous pairs so much that I literally wore the soles off. I use them for daily walking & running. Although I purchased the same size I always get, this pair is very tight & uncomfortable. I've been trying to break them in for a week now but still don't love the fit. I've never had to break in a pair of Hokas before pretty disappointed. In the future, I will purchase them in store so I can try them on!

Though I like the shoes themselves, white was a big mistake. I didn't go anywhere particularly dirty but hand to clean them after the first time wearing them. They attract dirt quickly. So unless you are just wearing them to the gym or on clean concrete, pick a different color.

They didn't meet my standards. They were not as comfortable as I thought they would be. My husband has hoka slipons with adjustable straps and I try those and they were like walking on clouds. That's what may me think that the ones I got would be the same but they weren't.

I bought my typical Hoka size, 9.5, and they were too tight. They were also much harder and felt uncomfortable to walk in, as if there was no cushion. I returned them after taking a few steps in my house.

The ARAHI 7s were returned. The toe box was much narrower than my ARAHI 6s. Very disappointed that the style changed

The Arahi has a very narrow toe box which is not consistent with other shoes like the Gaviota. You will notice all of the wides in this color are sold out for this reason. I have a fairly narrow foot so this seems to be a flaw in sizing of this particular model. All in all, love Hokas (stability) but will not buy Arahis again

I have a pair of Hokas in size 7.5D. This was the third try for me, and no success. They do not fit like my original pair.

I had an older version of Arahi and loved them. I wore them for work and they were comfortable for many hours on my feet. As other reviews state, the toe box on this version is very narrow. My toes felt squished and almost overlapping. When I put full weight on my foot I could see my big toe joint and little toe pushing the fabric beyond the footbed. For me, they are unwearable in this design. They seem like a well made shoe. So would maybe work for someone with a narrow foot.

Pro: Love the J-frame to prevent over-pronation. Works perfectly for me. Con: Way too narrow (I ordered the 7 Wide). They should make a double wide size. Charge more for it if they must but at least make it available. I’m trying the Hoka Gaviota now because it has a lot more toe room (now that they’ve switched from the J-frame to the H-frame for support) but the Gaviota may have too much rigidity in the sole for me, I’m still assessing. Summary: If they made the Arahi in a double wide it would be the perfect shoe.

Meh, so disappointing in comparison to the Bondis. Super stuff, no arch support, narrow toe box. Hard to believe these are Hokas.

I must start this with the fact that the process of ordering shoes was very easy. I was so excited to order my Ariara 7 shoes in black. I was diagnosed with tendinitis in March of this year. Due to the fact that I pronate when I walk, the podiatrist recommended this shoe. I spent close to $400.00 on 2 pairs of shoes one being the Hoka in white. The most comfortable shoes. The black ones I received were the most uncomfortable shoes and caused more foot pain. I am sending them back but so disappointed that they didn't fit. I thought about exchanging but not sure if the next pair would fit any fifferent

They are about a half size too small but I don't think they are the usual quality of Hoka.

I bought them because I thought they were navy and red. Color is closer to orange. Much narrower than my other Hokas and not as cushiony. But I still like them. Just somewhat disappointed
