I don't get the hype with these sneakers. I bought two pairs and returned both back. I was looking for comfort for walking long distance and long hours but I found they are not that comfortable. I prefer my Sketchers with memory foam, they are the best and will stick with Sketchers. Also, they run large. I wear 7.5 but these fit like an 8. Size down half size.

Full disclosure, I have bad feet- my doctor got me started on Hokas. Originally started my journey with the Gaviotas, until they switched the cushion from balanced to plush. So I was willingly to switch around- Arahis have worked for me (stability and balanced). Normally I prefer to wear my hokas with feetures elite max cushion socks- the new version was a little snug for me in the toe box however I tried the wide version and those worked for me. I did try to size up (normally 8, tried 8.5) but quickly returned that pair. The wide version gave me the same comfort as my Arahi 6 and allowed me to continue to use my sock combo.

I loved the Arahi 6 and bought several pairs before trying to find my fave color and realizing my local store was clearing the 6's to make room for the 7's. I jumped on here when there were only about 5-7 reviews and most of them were pretty negative. It made me fairly nervous, but there was rapidly diminishing options in the 6 inventory so here I came. Initial thoughts: TOE BOX: I see why folks are worried about the toe box. It's much more narrow than the 6, and I am prone to having issues with tight toe boxes. After wearing them, I don't think I'll have any issues as long as I stick to thin socks. Folks with longer or wide feet, proceed with caution. FIRM: This is a rock-hard shoe at first. I think it will take me a few weeks to break these in. Wearing them made my feet ache the first time, but I could see how this will benefit my runs later on when they're broken in. OTHER: The back of the shoe is much lower than the Arahi 6, or maybe that's just my impression. When I first put these on it felt like my foot was going to slip out of the back of the shoe multiple times. I'm not certain it actually will, but the difference is noticeable if you're used to the higher back. AESTHETIC: This is a nice looking shoe. I got the rose gold and they're basically an all-over white shoe with just the rose-gold logo and the slightly rose gold edges on the sole. The knit top with the holes has been growing on me. Overall, I give it a 3.5/5, which I've rounded up to a 4 here. I can see some issues and definitely would've preferred to stick with the 6, but I'm not going to knock this shoe quite yet.

I have the Arahi 6 and the 7 mesh is a smaller weave, cleaner look, and fabric appears more durable. However, the depth of the toe box is reduced somewhat from the Arahi 6, which is not as comfortable or roomy, especially with slightly thicker socks during the winter.

I have ran in the Arahi 6 for almost a year and love them so I was so excited to order the 7! I haven't fully broken them in yet but what I notice so far is that they are lighter, but also stiffer with a narrower toe bed. The tongue of the shoe also sits lower. I definitely feel supported in them so we'll see how they continue to feel as they are broken in!

I like the design, fit and stability. The vanilla color is peach which was not a good surprise. I'd be much happier if you made a neutral beige or light gray color. I have very high insteps and by the time I loosened the laces to accommodate them, they were slipping on the heel. Next time I will try on a wide version. Great shoe for those who pronate. Could be better cushioned.

I got Arahi 6 as my first pair of Hokas, and I Loved how wide the toe box was. I saw the reviews saying Arahi 7 has a smaller toe box, but I bought them anyway since I was so pleased with the 6's, and I've been through so many brands looking for shoes I could love. Well, the toe box is indeed smaller. I feel like the whole shoe is squeezing my foot a bit, and I don't really have wide feet. Overall, I'm still happy with them. I'll get them broken in, and I'm sure they'll be fine, but I wish the toe box at least was bigger.

Great for support and feels comfortable. Only issue is the heel slippage. I have put some heel supports in / may wear two pairs of socks to remedy this. Might be my narrow foot or just the design of the shoe? Something to be aware of for future buyers.

He color of this shoe is not vanilla by definition it is more peach. The toe box is very narrow compared to 4&5 but similar to the arahi 6.

The Hokas are comfortable as usual but sadly they SQUEAK when I walk. I should have sent them back when I took my first steps but I hoped that it would stop. Sadly it has not. I can wear them on my walks which is my main focus but will not be wearing them out and about.

I think I expected to feel like I was walking on clouds. This sneaker is fine. I think I'll go into the store and try on shoes.

I bought these Hoka shoes. I already have 3 pair and wear them all the time. The Arahi 7 do not fit like the others. I wear a 5 medium in my 3 other pair and these are extremely narrow! I love Hoka just had trouble with this particular style. Unfortunately I have to order on line to find my size.

The style and functionality of these shoes are fantastic. I love the color and designs. Unfortunately, as a nurse working on my feet all day long, these shoes do not hold up to a 12-hour plus work day. I unfortunately have found my beat to be sore, not just before the end of my day but including the next day.

I have 2 pair of Hoka Bondi 8's. I love, love, love them. I ordered a pair of Arahi 7 last month. I can't believe the difference. I am about to give up on the Arahi 7. They seem to be MUCH narrower than the Bondi 8's and are not even close to being as comfortable. They are lighter than the Bondi, which is fine, but I don't understand the big difference in width. Maybe it would be a good idea to note that they are a much narrower shoe in the description?? I really wanted to like them, but I can't. I was going to give them to my daughter but when she tried them on she said, oh no, these are too narrow. Bummer.

I have to say these shoes are not as comfortable as my first pair. These shoes seemed to be stiff and do flex well.

These seem like stable, comfortable shoes so far. Too pricey. I like that the toe box is smooth and does not have a seam where my nail might catch. I wish the tongue was slightly longer. There is a bit of discomfort at my Achilles tendon maybe due to height and stiffness of material back there.

The bottom is very stiff, and I tried 3 runs and still uncomfortable. Though true to size and width is OK, but the shoes feel longer and my feet kept sliding out of them.
