Shoe felt narrow in width and not as soft as I would have liked.

I normally wear the Gaviota model and love them. I thought I would try a less expensive model Arahi 7. I was not happy with the quality of material used for the upper. I thought it was cheap and not very durable so I returned the shoes.

These Hokas were not comfortable for me. I wanted a stable shoe and these were a recommendation but the sole is super hard and didn’t work. Also, they are narrow in the toe box which was uncomfortable. A wider width wouldn’t work for my narrow heel. Sadly, they went back. Sorry Zappos!!

I have loved the Arahi's I've had in the past. These are the 3rd or 4th I've bought in the past 2 or 3 years, but the width has changed. (I'm usually a 6.5 wide.) The toe-box is much tighter in the Arahi 7's. Unfortunately I need to return them.

I really wanted these to be the end all be all to help my plantar fasciitis. Researched and tried on a dozen different styles and brands. My feet felt worse after wearing these for just a few hours. I purchased some additional arch support and will give that a shot. Really hoping I can make these work.

Small, and too narrow. I've bought 2 other Hokas and these were a miss.

These are my go-to shoes due to collapsed arches and significant lower back pain. I don't have wide feet at all but ordered the wide bc they were more comfortable than the standard. I MISS the 6's terribly though!!! As for design, why do the Clifton's get all the style variations and those of us who NEED stability only get these colorways?? We like to be cute too. ;)

I have never purchased a pair of tennis shoes that I had to "Break In". The color was beautiful but the fit was not. This shoe is for someone with a narrow foot. If your foot is medium to wide this will not be a comfortable shoe.

I had to return these. I didn't even have a chance to wear them outside. I tried them on and walked around the house - within a minute I knew they weren't for me. I think I just didn't buy the right shoes for my feet. I've heard amazing things about Hokas so I'll keep trying until I find the right fit for me - these just aren't the right ones for me.

I had previously bought a pair of Arahi 7 in hopes that it would help with my overpronation. It definitely did, and they were quite comfortable. However, I bought a size 8, which is what I normally wear, and I felt like they were too long and had too much toe space. I constantly felt like I was going to trip over them. So a few months later, I ordered a 7.5. After wearing them for about a week, I feel like these are too snug and my toes are a bit cramped. Not sure if this shoe just isn't the right fit for me, or if I need a wide, or what.

It's a nice shoe, but I wouldn't buy it again as it isn't real supportive.
Sometimes I wear a wider shoe so I tried the wide size, and it was too wide, better to order the normal width.

When I bought the Giovata 4 it felt amazing right away. These don't. I will give it some time and see how they feel. The back seems good the front not so great.

Everything about these are great except they are not wide enough. The length is good. The cushioning and stability are good. But I bought the wide, and these are just as narrow and squeezing as regular width shoes. I can't wear them since they're so uncomfortable with the width issue.

Long time Arahi wearer and did not find the 7's comfortable at all. Much narrower toe box as others pointed out. Might be more successful sizing up .5 a size to your normal. Seems like a similar experience to other reviewers.

This style runs narrow and I wear medium. I gave them to my daughter who wears medium but has a slightly narrower foot than I do. She liked them.

I'm still breaking these in. Not sure if these need a little more cushion or if the tongue being attached is making them too snug.
I'm relacing in a different configuration to see if it helps but walking up to 4 miles on concrete may not make these an ideal choice for support and comfort.

I was so happy when my shoes arrived. I put them on and found that even with much adjustment to the laces the instep area was just so tight. I've had other styles of Hokas and love them. I was so disappointed. I wore them around the house to try to break them in, and then I realized it was not a matter of breaking them in. the size and fit was fine. The toebox was fine. The tightness over the instep and no loosening of the laces, made them a real disappointment They are just made differently.

Good stability though they soften up very quickly and lose a bit of firm/shape so I will probably need to replace them in a few months.

I like the Arahi ok but before my Cliftons. The Arahi seems more narrow and tighter on my foot.

I don't feel a difference between these shoes and my Asics that cost half as much. I'm not as impressed as you'd like me to be.
