These Hoka were to narrow and very hard. No cushion at all for my feet. And return policy for outside the 48 states is horrible.

I didn't find the Arahi 7 nearly as comfortable as my Arahi 6. The arch support hit me at the wrong place and the shoe overall didn't feel like it offered as much support in the heel area - a feature of the Arahi 6 that I particularly liked. I returned the Arahi 7 and tried the Gaviota 5, which I liked much better.

The 11 EE wasn't wide enough. I only needed a little bit more room, but I wasn't willing to accept that at this price point.
I wanted to try Hokas to see what the hype is about. I think the height of the platform was too much for me. I would try a lower profile Hoka if I could find one.

The Arahi 6's were perfect. Sturdy, large toe box (for normal width). However, by the time my Arahi 6's wore out, Hoka no longer made the 6's. As a result, I bought the Arahi 7's in the same size and width as the 6's, but the toe box in the 7's is much more tapered. All the room I had in the toe box in the 6's was gone in 7's. To see if it was a sizing issue, I exchanged my 7's for a half size up, but that did little to nothing to alleviate the scrunched tapered toe box.
Beyond the toe-box, the shoe felt very solid, had good cushioning, and felt good for walking around town, going to the gym, or as a daily running trainer. Nonetheless, due to the toe-box issue, I returned the shoe and am not currently using an Arahi shoe. I will wait to see if Hoka remedies the toe box in the Arahi 8's.
For the next generation of the shoe (the Arahi 8), I recommend that Hoka go back to the roomier, less tapered toe-box that was found in the Arahi 6.

I tried some Hokas on at a store, but all they had were some really outlandish looking shoes so I went online to buy some black ones. I made sure to buy ones that were stable and had cushion (according to the website), but they are about as cushy as my Nikes and not as cushy as my cloud runners.

So why still 3 stars? I love Arahi 7s, ordinarily. These were my fourth pair. They provide the best support for my nearly flat feet and help me to run pain free for hours at a time. I'm still a fan of HOKA and Arahi, though I guess these ones could have used a little better quality assurance. After just a few days of wear, I noticed that one of the Durabrasion Rubber outsole pods near the outer edge of the forefoot had started peeling away. This isn't just a durability issueit could also pose a trip hazard, as the loose rubber could catch on surfaces. Given HOKA's reputation for quality, I expected better durability, and this early wear is disappointing. I would exchange, but I can't be without the shoes for over 10 days. So I'm going to try gluing it back down and hope for the best.

Nice shoes. Lengthwise they run true to size, which I can't say for other well known brands. The cushion is nice too.
However after walking around in these shoes for a few days, it dawned on me that they run very narrow. I have always been a regular/medium as far as shoe width goes but for this brand I would definitely go with a wide. Lesson learned

I find the quality and support of the new Arahi 7 is not as solid as before. I loved my old ones, but I'm just liking these. They seem to be degrading rather fast. And this oatmilk color gets dirty QUICK and does not clean well. I'm a little bummed at the slippage of quality with these, being so expensive.

I am sure I ordered a women's shoe yet nowhere on my order form is a man's or woman's size specified and thus I have received a man's shoe that does not fit. Not sure why this would happen except it was shipped via Amazon Prime ???

The right shoe pressed against my instep so uncomfortably that I had to return the shoes. The left fit fine otherwise I may have considered a wider width. Also, this is the first time I've had this problem with any shoes I've owned. Consequently, I think it's likely the shoe and not my foot.

These shoes are comfortable normally. They are my favorite shoes. And I’ve even tried this size on in different stores. But this particular pair has something in it. That’s not comfortable.

I am coming out of a pair of Arahi 6 that I retired at 360 miles and bought a pair of Arahi 7s. I like the stability of the Arahi and I currently switch my training runs between Clifton 9 and Arahi 7. I am at 60.5 miles into the Arahi 7s. The Arahi 7s seem much tighter in the toe box width and also the outside collars seem much taller and rubs my ankle; makes longer 11-15mi runs uncomfortable. I never had this issue running with Arahi 6. I would prefer the Arahi 6 over the Arahi 7 at this point.

I ordered 8.5 US 2E and still too narrow for my foot after a foot injury. Too bad, because I love Hoka.

Not sure if they will stretch but the are a little tight around my arches. Super comfortable foot bed. I've been wearing around the house. But I'm afraid if I exchange for wide it will be too big.

So I love my Arahi 6, which are so comfortable due to the simplicity of the shoe, it has the perfect balance of cushioning, which is to say just enough to make them lightweight and comfortable. There is a predictable increase in cushioning in the Arahi 7, which is okay for many but it does not work for me. I found these to be uncomfortable to walk in, just the opposite of the Arahi 6.

These Hoka's are not impressive at all. I don't expect them to last 6 months. Cheap uppers no different than any brand, very thin treads. They do fit like a glove, and as mentioned no breathable at all. Lowest price point- it shows.

I picked these up to rotate between Bondi 8's. Significant difference in the shoes, but I like them both. Purchase the Arahi if you dont like room to spread your toes out.

The feel and look of the shoe is good. I am205lb. and the sole is very stiff for my likes. I like a little bit of cushion. Will check out other Hoku's.
