I love these! I trained and raced in the lone peaks last year and made the switch for more cushion and a narrower toe box. These are great and would definitely recommend them!!

Love the new colors and the Vibram sole! Working well for hiking and also for work.

Enough room for my toes to be comfortable. Lightweight, not chunky. I don't trip over my own feet like with other top popular brandszero drop is like going barefoot with support. Recommended to me by my backpacker son. I can wear them all day with comfort. Thanks for having the option of black soles & black with blue color materials that doesn't clash like the bright colors do. I'm able to wear them with many different outfits.

I've been wearing Timps since they 1st came out. I have to say this is my favorite model so far. I have 150 Mike's on them, and ran a 50K this past weekend. No blisters or hot spots, and it was hot so my feet were soaked with sweat and ice melt.. Altra got rid of the stupid razor tongue. I feel like the width is similar to some of the early models which I like. The 3 was felt a bit small for the same size I always get. Anyway, I'm a huge fan of this model, and I like the color too!

These are perfect for those with more narrow feet. The Olympus and Lone Peaks both have always felt like waterskis on my feet due to how much excess space there was. These are light and comfortable.

I hiked miles and miles in these and loved them. I have wide feet and I am a huge fan of all the Altra!!! The natural foot position is !

This is my first pair of Altra's so I can't say what they're like compared to their other shoes. I typically wear a size 8, but had to return for an 8.5. At first they were a bit stiff, but I wore them with thick winter socks for a few wears which helped loosen them up. I love the look of these shoes, and the toe box is wide enough for me. I do have quite narrow feet, so that is something to keep in mind. I am used to narrow hiking shoes from other brands, so these are a great improvement to me.

I loved the Timp 2 and bought four pairs of them. I tried the Timp 4 and didn't like them, so I was waiting for the Timp 5 to come out. I love them! Definite winner! I plan to buy a few pairs.

i have many altras and I love how the Timps are, I have really wide feet (usually i have to wear men's shoes) but this one fit wonderfully, I take this for my long runs and I don't have any blisters or hot spots, so far, the shoe is still in one piece even though I am ruthless on the trails. I'm considering stocking up on more of these Timps just to keep them at hand. but I'm really pleased.

I highly recommend the Timp 5 shoes for hiking or trail running! The traction is great and they are very comfortable. They feel true to size to me. They are a sturdy yet lightweight shoe that you won't regret trying.

A whole new version of timp from altra! The fit and feel are more performance driven than past models. I wore past models more for leisure, which I now miss from this shoe. But the grip is unparalleled to previous models!

I wasn't to keen on the Timp 4 but this new redesign is special! It feels light but still can handle any rugged trail. I like the new color ways too.

I have always loved the Timp for all of my hiking, 14'rs, and trail running. With the new Vibram, the grip is amazing. I feel even more confident in the mixed winter/ice conditions and I know I'll love this for any bouldering and tricking situations this summer.

I hadn't tried Altra's shoes before this campaign, so I was super excited when I got them and they turned out to be the most comfortable sneakers I've ever worn. This is not an exaggeration!! Even though the sneakers felt a tiny bit small (I would've gone up a half size, had I known this), they still fit really well and comfortably. Since receiving the new Altra Timp 5 sneakers, I've been walking a lot, and I've been doing some trail running and jogging. My feet feel totally secure in these sneakers and my ankles feel protected. The Vibram outsoles of the shoes are really out of this world! Each toe feels supported, and it's unlike any other shoe I've ever worn. My posture feels a lot better when wearing them, too. I've tried to switch back to different sneakers after wearing these, but my feet are feeling a bit spoiled after wearing the Timp 5s, so you can tell the difference in quality when you try stepping into your other shoes. Altra really went all out with these! I'm blown away by the quality, and I don't think that I'll be going back to my cheap shoes anytime soon! I'm hooked! The shoes also look really cool, and I love the colors. I have the Black/gray style, but they've got a ton of blue on them, and that makes them really pop! They definitely a very cool looking, attractive shoe. Looks are great, but that's not the best thing about these sneakers. You really need to try these for yourself, especially if you're athletic and go walking, running, etc. But even if you're not, you should still try them. These sneakers are honestly the most comfortable I've ever tried. I'm basically Altra's new cheerleader for these sneakers! I cannot wait to try even more styles from Altra.

Love how stable I feel in the Timp. Great traction and comfort. My toes are happy in these shoes. Started out a little tight but by the end of the day - they were perfect.

The Timp 5 is comparable to the Hoka Speedgoat 5 and the Saucony Perigrine 13 in quality and usage. They have great construction and seem super sturdy. These have a grippy Vibram Mega Sole which helps up rugged mountain terrain. These have a zero drop and are a neutral running shoe with moderate cushioning. My only criticism is that the sizing is off. I always order up 1/2 size in my running shoes and these felt a size 7 when I normally run in an 8.5. I would have to order a 9 to comfortably run in these. I would recommend them for their comfort with the caveat that you must try them on before you buy them or just know you have to order between a size and a size and a half up than you normally do. Everything is great about this shoe! The sole is light weight which makes it great for running/walking. This shoe keeps my feet steady and comfortable and after a long jog my feet do not hurt. Love the colors as well which is an added bonus.

The fit is perfect for me. They run true to size, and I have a wider forefoot. The Vibram sole has excellent traction, and they are an ideal weight! These are great trail and ultra shoes. I got the product for free in exchange for writing the review

The new Timp update came just in time for a wild 50 mile race to tackle extremely wet and muddy conditions. The outsole allowed me to stay on my feet and the super fit kept my feet stable!

The Timp 5 is a great show that is true to size, is a great zero drop footwear with a very firm midsole that stayed firm with my run.I am a midsole striker and run trail/road marathons. I ran about 45 miles in 4 days and was very impressed. I usually wear the Torin and was excited that these have a zero drop and there are several new features that the Timp 5 has that I love. I usually wear a 9 1/2 shoe but for this I chose a 9 and it actually was a great size for me.I love the wider toe base and the fact that the mesh inside s a tightly woven type of fabric. The vibram mega grip sole is an amazing upgrade and the shoe itself is very snug which I love when running . I did not have an issue with debris getting inside which I have had an issue with in another well known shoe. The weight drop is also a plus on these. They are lighter than any of the competitors which I found to be helpful. I have a high arch and did not need any inserts and would say that overall I am very impressed and will definitely wear these for my upcoming marathon.

I was given the Timp 5 for free in return for my honest review. These sneakers are very comfortable. Because of my long toes, I have trouble finding shoes that fit well. The outsole of these shoes is especially impressive since it provides outstanding grip on both wet and dry surfaces. I don't have to worry about slipping while I run on trails. After a run, I find cleaning my shoes to be simple. These shoes are really well-made, and I think they will last a long time.

The first time putting these on require no breaking in. I had them on for 12 hours and they delivered! They are a little squeaky and then boom they mold to your feet. You can do anything in these.

Perfect for hiking trails. Fell in love with these. They're comfortable and have the right amount of give. I would love to get a couple more in different colors. Love them.

They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.I like them very much to go for a walk and run. I feel that they are very light and that they are useful for any kind of exercise. I felt them a little small for the other time, I would grab a larger size.
