The shoes developed holes in the toe areas after just a few wears. The material in the toe area is very thin and is unable to withstand even normal wear. The rest of the shoes are in good condition.

I have worn Gel nimbus for many years. This version is an epic fail. The Achilles heel area wore through to the plastic and wire internal frame after a few wears of walking on the treadmill. This speaks to the poor quality of the materials.

After a few hours my feet hurt like hell! There's something about the arch support – maybe too much foam in the sole – that give my feet cramps. I have long work days and my feel are so exhausted on days I wear these shoes. I have other ASICS (different style) that are perfect, but not avail in black. I know other reviews are excellent but I can't wear these anymore.

Tear in the toe box. Hasn't been 3 months. Not used for running at all, just walking.

The shoe is completely changed! I've worn ASICS GEL-Nimbus for years. Didn't like the look straight out of box. What's with the thick sole??? Tried out on treadmill and very uncomfortable. Why did they change a good thing???

So disappointed! Got them for my husband and he said they are the worse sneakers he’s ever had ! He walks each night and we thought these would be great ! Instead his feet were in pain , the balls of his feel hurt & he got blisters and the size is correct! He’s had many pairs of sneakers. Many brands and he’s really unhappy he gave these a try . Said he should have stuck with what he knew was good & much cheaper !!! We no longer have the box or we would return them .

These hurt my feet significantly within 60 seconds of putting them on. I've worn ASICS for years and never had this experience, but something with the Nimbus 26 (and Cumulus 26) must be different. I can walk around fine in any other shoes (or barefoot), but I have sharp pain in my left foot as soon as I try walking around in these. I have never had this experience with any other shoes.

Toes break through the mesh on top - very weak structure and not durable. Disappointed in the durability of the mesh. Typical for ASICS.

I have been wearing Gel Nimbus for years, would never even try them on just always bought my size and was always happy, but I hate these. The feel is very different from the past and they just don’t feel good. It feels like I am wearing a big chunk of foam on the bottom of my feet. When standing the support feels very much on mid-foot with almost not to respond to on my toes. I don’t even like walking in them and even tried just wearing them to my desk job and my day isn’t over and my feet and calves are already tired. The amount of foam is almost comical, my son even thought I grew taller after putting them on. The tongue has has zero padding under the strings and a seam on the pull that is not sewn in on the edges and uncomfortable if you just want to slip them on for a minute barefoot to take the trash out. The upper is very thin yet it has no give or cushion. I am tempted to cut them in half and see if there is actually any gel in them. Maybe someone would like them but way too soft for me. It’s like waking on 2 foam pillows taped to my feet. I am already counting to days until I can throw them in the garbage.
