Toe boxes are smaller for the last 7 years or so including this year.

I have been wearing nimbus for a long time. The nimbus 26 seems narrow

I tried the Nimbus 25 at a store as that was all they had and was told the 25 and 26 were the same but the toe box on the 26 is wider then the 25

compared to the nimbus 25 this shoe is a step in the wrong direction. the lively underfoot feel is gone, replaced instead by something that feels blocky and a little dead. also, the sizing is off. the upper of the 25 felt very dialed in and comfortable, whereas the 26 feels more voluminous. it's hard to get a lockdown in my usual size without cranking the laces, which i deplore and causes discomfort. overall it kind of trashes the running experience when you don't feel like your foot is secure over the midsole. i will keep these for walking and casual wear because the feather gray colorway is very subtle and nice but when it comes to running these don't do it for me.

They're squishy, have bounce and wide enough to fit my wide flat feet as i am a casual wearer and feel i could run a mile in them!

I walk/hike 35 to 40 miles a week. I have plantar faciatas in one foot and found the 26 not nearly as forgiving as the 25. Probably better for runners.

This shoe feels great, but similarly to the last ASICS pair I got, in just four months there is a hole from where my big toe is on the left shoe. Last pair, the hole is on the right. I've never had this in any other shoes. Not buying ASICS again.

support is good and comfortable, unfortunately fabric is terrible, cheap quality it get's torn easily at the front by the toes, and on the external side by the foot movement

The support barely lasted on these. For as much cushioning that the sole visually has shown. It doesn't support the foot when you walk to you are straining your knees more. Really bad functional design. I wonder if this was even tested before releasing it.

Very disappointed with how quickly these shoes are breaking down after about 4 months, averaging about 10 miles per week of running on them. There's a hole in both sneakers from my big toe popping through the fabric. The material behind my heal has worn completely through to the back of the sneaker. I've dutifully gotten new Gel-Nimbus sneakers every year for many years due to the right fit and solid durability. Given the shoddy materials this go-round, likely my last purchase.

Fits well, mesh near toes is not durable. Totally ripped through after 2 months. Disappointed in the durability of the shoe. Typical failure mode for me with ASICS.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka with leather across toes.

I have more foot pain now then I did with my cumulus 25. The heel is narrow for a wide shoe. I've had mine for a month and I had to go back to my old shoes due to extreme heel pain.

I tried these on in the store and they fit great but when I ordered this specific color online they fit completely different in my opinion. I unfortunately couldn't return them so I specifically only use them for walking instead of running.

It's that wierd style of barely no cushioning in the front and to much in the back. I believe the industry has already moved away from these models, and now I know why. Also, when they say wide, they only mean the upper, so your foot hangs over the sole, pretty dumb; a wide foot is a wide foot, give it real support! And as far as arch support in the drop down...they don't give the option for IDK.

Really comfortable shoe, feels a little faster than 25, but new heel tab is intrusive and the new sticker on the heel tab is rough and cuts into my heel. Why would you put this on the foot side of the tab? Why does the tab touch the foot at all? Please redesign for Nimbus 27

I have been a huge fan of the Nimbus for 20 + years. They were always a reliable and durable shoe that provided exceptional comfort and performance. The 26 is a big departure from the norm. I have less than 200 miles on them and sole is worn off. The steps they took to shave weight and lower the environmental impact of the shoe have ruined an otherwise great product. Older model Nimbus shoes held up for 400-500 miles. I have already ordered replacements at 200 miles. If I have to buy 4-5 pairs a year to do what 2 pairs used to that seems to defeat the purpose of reducing the environmental footprint. PLEASE reconsider the prior durability in your next incarnation of the Nimbus.

Shoes are ok. They fit really tight so I find them uncomfortable after a while. I do not plan to buy this model again. Definitely better options out there.

Didn't like the fit. Going back to the 25's. Not wide enough in the front of the shoe. Also don't like the material the laces are made of in the 26's and the 25's. They come untied while running if they aren't double tied. Shouldn't have to be double tied. Might be going to New Balance if problems aren't resolved.

The shoes were very comfortable. However, I’ve only been wearing the, for a month and there is already the beginning of a hole on the top of the right shoe.
