I'm really impressed with the new Moab's. I had an old pair for the last ten years and needed to update. To start with the entry and exit is so easy. Always a struggle with mid and high boots, but these are so easy and natural.
The greatest thing about the Moab's is that they are so comfortable to wear all day and yet great for hiking. I finally got in a rocky hike last week. I found the new Moab's to be a big improvement over the old ones. The soles were supportive, comfortable and I didn't feel the rocks through them like my old ones. Also great traction uphill and down with no slipping. Very confident all around.
Very happy I got these and would give a high recommendation to anyone.

Shoes work great for hiking through the mountains, creek crossing and even some snow. Stayed dry with the gore layer and are very comfortable. So far I really like them and they look great!
Easy ordering, quick shipping, great experience.

As a long time Merrell customer since most of us are as they last forever, these are the best in comfort, stability, and style.

Works great on hiking very steep gravel service roads and does a good job of staying on the pedals for downhill Mtn Biking decents. You don't won't to wear down your soft flat bottom Mtn Biking shoes with a lot of uphill gravel hiking. These Moab 3 Mid GORE-TEX boots fit the bill perfect.

I love these, I use my arch supports in them and my feet don't hurt after 6 miles. I tried many different brands and this is a first with no pain. I'm very happy with these.

Still the best hiking shoes I've tried. Switched to another brand last year and was completely let down. There's really no reason not to go with these. I got 1/2 a size up from my normal shoe size and they're perfect with thick hiking socks but also work fine with regular socks. No sliding issues so far and the extra half size always seems to help with decline damage on your nails. I've put at least 40 miles into them so far with no discomfort whatsoever. Confident I'll continue to buy these in the future.

These shoes fit my feet well. I normally wear a Women's size 11.5. Tried these Men's size 10.5 which are a little wider than the Women's regular size. You can tighten or loosen the fit by changing how tight you pull the boot strings. The bottoms feel somewhat hard when you walk; I may add a thin insert to soften the step since I will be walking 6-hour days for about 50 days. Compared to my previous hiking mid boots from Salomon, these in a Men's regular width fit better for my squarish toe box feet. The Salomon were narrower.
About the Goretex water proofing, I thought the tops were made with Goretex fibers but it seems that what you get is a Goretex liner. I suppose that the top fibers will get wet but the liner will not allow the water to get to your socks. You don't notice this if it were not for the slight sound it makes when you pull on the tongue of the boot and check the inside (top) of the boot with your hand. Seems to be well-sewn in.

I love everything about the Moab 3 boots except their durability. My first boots had Merrell brand waterproofing which to seep water after 6 months. I replaced these with Moab 3 Mid Goretex (which do a much better job keeping my feet dry) but the soles began to separate from the uppers after 8 months. Customer Service quickly replaced both but wish it wasnt necessary.

Gore-tex protection is key - waterproofing that lets your feet breathe - simply amazing material. Love these boots in all weather. Wish low-rise was still available with Gore-tex.

Merrell makes great shoes for a variety of uses. I use them for hunting, work and recreation.
I wish you would stick to making a good product and stay away from pandering to special interest groups.

They lasted two full weeks at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico hiking the Mountains in the ranch with rocky, dirt, mud, and wet environment they lasted all the hike. They are comfortable and soft would recommend. Thanks Merral for making amazing hiking shoes. Make sure to buy a size smaller I usually us 12 and bought a 11 and fit perfectly.

Ive been wearing Moab mid hiking boots for over 20 years, and my new pair purchased will keep me buying more. I hike 4-5 times per week, anywhere from 3-7 miles, and the Moab mids have no break in period. Theyre comfortable, and give me the ankle support I need for the trails. I plan on wearing them on my walk on the Camino Portuguese route in Sept averaging 10-16 miles per day for 3 weeks.

My wife and I both have been wearing Merrell Boots for about 15 years or so now on all of outings. My usual daily wear shoes are Merrell Trail Shoes and I find them just as comfortable on the sidewalk as I do on the trail. Merrells in the wide width work well with the AFO brace with a lift that I have to wear on one of my feet.
