Like others, you wonder why Bean can't size these shoes the same as others. Why the insistence on their own sizing model. Anyway, they're good enough shoes for the purpose they're designed for. The tongue on one is stiff and rubbed a sore spot on my foot. A positive feature that Bean will resole them if needed.

Great shoe but the laces are so short I cant tie them

Wore them for years -were are the narrow widths? I had a pair boots & had Bean add new bottoms - they came back waaaaay too big & wrong soles!! I got a pair for my son they're 2+ sizes off- this isn't rocket science - go back to the old forms & offer widths again instead of half sizes! Glad they're made in the USA still....

I had a pair of LL Bean duck shoes 20 years ago- loved them. Just bought a pair of duck boots- big mistake. Had to return first order because the 10 1/2 was way oversized and reordered a 10 size. Got them, the 10 will work. Biggest complaint was the design. The heal is very narrow making your ankle to have a tendancy to turn on even the slightest of uneven ground. Not happy with these boots especially with the price I had to pay for them.

My very 1st order ever was a pair of men's 11.5 gum shoe. Instead I received a pair of size 7.5 slip on shoes the wrong style and size all togetherdidn't get the boots I wanted, all I got was a refund

So disappointed in these boots ! They are not lined at all and after just a few hours, the exposed seams literally ate away at the heel of my husband's socks and also his foot. Prior to this, we have always loved the boots we buy from LLBean. These certainly do not measure up at all !

I wear a 10 1/2 shoe. Ordered 9 1/2 and it was a bit too large. Sent it back and ordered a 9, but have not yet received.

I bought a pair in size 11, 11.5, and 12. None of them fit. In most pairs one shoe was larger than the other. It was a hassle to return all these gumshoes.

I can't seem to get the right fit, currently waiting for the last size possibility but the 2 mos original delay has turned into 3 months.

I give 5 stars for all my items. the survey does not allow that. the staff and online is excellent. Please correct the survey and give excellent to my items. the new orange jacket is well planned with comfort. the dog jacket is great.All my clothes will be your from you.

I have had many, many pairs of Bean gum shoe/boots over many years. Lately I've had gum shoes that are wearing out the heel stitching way too fast. Seriously, you can't find a tougher or stronger thread than you have now? Once the threads start breaking its a matter of time until the shoe falls apart. Today I sent a 4 maybe 5 month pair back because of the stitching problem and I barely use them. Yes I ordered a new pair because it's LL Bean and made in America but cmon, find a stronger thread!!!!
