This shoe is my third one iver 40 years. It has been a constant footwear xhoice in snow and icy weather.

Quality product boots. Last long, comfortable and have purchased before.

I really like this qualifies made bean Gumshoe I had be wanting this boot since last year but unfortunately they were sold out so when I seen that they were back in stock I quickly ordered my pair so I'm thankful to have this quality made boot in my collection

I was fortunate enough to have gotten one of the first pairs of these before they were offered online or in print. I am a Bean Boot guy who owns several designs of the Bean Boots. I LOVE them all but these are the most comfortable version I now own. The BEST news is these are MADE IN THE USA.

Hi, This is a good shoe and I am happy to have it, but you are incorrect as the opening is so narrow that YOU MUST HAVE YOUR SHOE SIZE OR ONE SIZE LARGER IN ORDER TO GET YOUR FOOT IN THE SHOE. Also, the shoelaces provided are too short. They barely tie together. Increase the length by 4 inches or 6 inches.

The shoes are fine BUT could you PLEASE make the laces a few inches longer!!!!

Have worn these boots for 20+ yrs & rely on them for good traction; you can't beat them.

I wear size 15 shoe,so ordered size 14 as suggested. They were still at least an inch too long so returned them and ordered size 13 which ar fine.

Nice waterproof boot/shoe however the laces are too short. They are very comfortable and provide good traction and stability.

Sizing states to order one full size smaller than your regular shoe size, so I did. Found this gumshoe style is extremely difficult and tight when trying to get them on your feet. My last pair were the lower slip-on style which I liked better. Now I must completely loosen laces and even then it is a squeeze to get them on. Feel fine once on your feet, however, choosing one size smaller is a little snug.

Sturdy, comfortable, abbreviated version of the Maine Hunting Shoes that I've owned since 1977. My only quibble is that the laces should be a few inches longer.

The shoe gave me blisters shoes hard to get on and off shoe strings to short one shoe bigger than other

Just received these, and by following the size instructions, they fit. But wouldn't it just be easier if you made your sizes the same as the rest of the world? My only complaint so far is the laces. Is there a world shortage of shoe lace material in the world? Why so short? When it's tied, the loop part is barely over an inch long. Some of us have fingers that aren't toothpick size! I'm having to abandon the upper holes to have enough to comfortably tie them.

I like the gumshoes, but I found them too wide. They are made to have along with a heavy sock, but who wants to wear a heavy sock in the summer?

On my 3rd pair and you can't kill Em!! Hated to throw the old ones away and just sat and looked at the new ones.

Great for rainy wet days and when working in muddy conditions. Nice padded shoe top. Low cut is light weight. My 4 stars is for the shoe sizing Bean has, it runs way larger than expected. I had to order 3 pair before I got the right fit. On the plus side, Bean makes returns easy but charges $6.50 each return time.

The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because you could purchase previous versions with insulation which is no longer available.Otherwise it's still a great all around outdoor shoe.

I wish I could review these shoes as that would mean I actually received them. I ordered these Black Friday and won't get them until sometime in February

I ordered the same shoe size as last pair but this pair does not fix as well. Feels too big.

Although the Gumshoes are very comfortable and exactly what I was looking for in gardening and snow removal footwear the issue that I have, and I've read in other reviews, is that the tongue slides down creating a pocket that fills up with stuff. In order to alleviate this issue I had a local shoe repair shop sew lace loops on the top of the tongue, this helped but didn't totally eliminate the problem. It did take three tries and two returns to get a pair that fit and perhaps sewing the tongue in near the bottom of the tongue would help.

I have long wished that Bean would offer some of its "boots" without a heel. This one is a good example. This shoe/boot is perfect for walking and running my dog through wet grass and fields. But the heel makes longer walks less enjoyable. Heels do not promote proper foot support and posture. Tradition is good until we know better, and Bean should know better by now.

It is a great shoe! Style and everything. The one thing for me is the heel. Twisted my ankle. Why only a '3'

Not a comfortable fit. I put Dr. Scholl's inserts in it helped some. But just not a comfortable shoe.

I would have been happy to have a pair of these shoes/boots. Unfortunately, the Medium with was too narrow and you don't make a Wide in this shoe/boot.
