First, let me say Im a big fan of Brooks, and especially of the Glycerin GTS series. I have 5 pairs of the GTS20, and it was time to start replacing them as the mileage builds up. I think the GTS20 was a super shoe. Supportive, relatively lightweight, and comfortable right out of the box. I could take a new pair of 20s out for the first time and run a half marathon comfortably. I was hoping the 21s would be every bit as good, or perhaps even better. But no, that was not the case. IMHO, the 21 is a huge step backwards. Its a very uncomfortable shoe. Its stiff, has a very tight and unforgiving toe box, and high sides which rub against the malleolus bones (the knobs on the sides of your ankles). Three test runs in, its no better than the first outing, and I'm having to bandage my ankles to avoid blisters, and about to lose a toenail. The clunkiness of the shoe reminds me a lot of the early models of the Beast support shoe. Im going to try to nurse my existing 20s through another season, and hope the 22s will be much better. I know I can return the shoe via the Run Happy guarantee, but Im going to hang onto it, and hope it eventually loosens up.

Love the extra cushion. Legs feel so good during the run I have to go extra miles. Moving my Ghosts to number two on the pecking order.

When more cushioning and support over the Adrenaline model is required I use Glycerine GTS.

I really like Brooks shoes but this pair was very disappointing. The top of the shoe has some type of plastic support around the rim, this plastic support deforms permanently very easily. Almost immediately after buying them the plastic deformed and was pressing on my big toe, making it very uncomfortable, I cant run or walk in them correctly without pain.

Have a pair of regular Glycerin shoes and love them. Decided to try the GTS 21 version, but found the design of the stability on the sides caused pain. Sent them back and ordered a different Brooks product.

Overall a comfortable running shoe, maybe a bit to soft in the lateral support area. I feel like my foot bounces around a bit, side to side, unless I crank down the laces.

This was my first ever pair of Brooks and all I can say is they are worth the money and the hype. If you're a veteran they do offer a huge one time discount, on full priced shoes. I purchased my first pair to wear this fall, since I while be working in a hospital. I will be purchasing another pair around the holidays. Great for walking, standing for long periods of time, working out and quite stylish as well. All around great shoe, and the GTS line adds a bit more cushion, for people like me, that suffer from plantar fasciitis.

Received my Glycerin GTS 21 a few weeks ago. The width of my foot is borderline between normal and wide. I went with wide and I am very glad I did, they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I am anxious to experience how they hold up to my vigorous senior lifestyle. Very happy with them thus far

i actually use it for folk dancing which is an aerobic form of dancing. Given my age, having maximum cushioning is critical for keeping me active.

Needed to replace a 3-yr-old pair of Glycerin GTS shoes and tried a pair of the Ghost shoes, but they had less cushioning than the old Glycerins. The new Glycerin GTS 21 provides excellent cushioning, which my knees definitely need.

Nice and pretty comfortable. I could use a little larger arch support but otherwise I really like them. I wear them about 50% of the time. For me the OFOOS footbed has better shock absorption and conforms to my foot better, so I wear them when I'm on the treadmill. I wear the GTS on the weight workout days. Definitely love the styling
