Great shoe for Disney!
I have a bad back and neck, low arches and high instep, and a computer eval told me to try these! I wore insoles half of the trip and that was smart. I also weather-proofed them with a spray, so when there was a crazy down-pour, I was dry and comfy.
My only complaint is that they got very dirty very easily, and even the weather/stain proofing didnt help, nor did any cleaning products.
I have these in white, and even out of the box they looked dirty because of the gray elements, so now they look really old and bad- and I only wore them a few times..
Size was spot on- I wear an 8.5 and bought a 9,5

While I love the softness of the upper shoe (it didn't pinch or rub my many bunions), the sole is like walking on cement. It has no "give" whatsoever and makes the shoe extremely uncomfortable to wear for any period of time. I will use it as a quasi dress shoe with little walking time.

I use these shoes for walking distances and I love Hoyes they feel. The thicker heel and toe provide much comfort.

the shoes are great! i am a nurse and use them at work and really needed a supportive shoe. there however is one major flaw that makes the shoes nearing impossible to wear by the end of my shift. the whole shoe is designed to be soft and loose but there is a tight binding stitch right across the most top lace closest to the toe. it cuts into your foot when you walk and is extremely painful, especially by the end of my 12 hour shift. i really wish there could be a change in design because otherwise they would be amazing shoes :(

These shoes are wonderful, it's like walking on pillows and this style seems to be my favorite style of Brooks to wear because the cushioning is just right.

I would rate this shoe 4.5
I purchased a wide width and it fits wellneither too big nor too small
I have been purchasing Brooks for years.
My only complaint is that the shoelaces are never long enough
My heel always slips in the shoes so I need to rabbit ear the laces to snug up the heel . This, in combination with my wide feet, always result in shoe laces I can barely tie. I always need to order a longer pair which is a pain and an added expense

Of course I ordered the shoe for the colors. Im very pleased because its a great summer look. I usually buy the adrenaline but color design was just what I wanted. Surprise, surprise, this shoe was even more comfortable. No, I dont run, but the shoe gives me a bouncy step.

They look really wide but are very comfortable. I miss all the colors you used to have. Everything seems to be white or grey now. Bring back leopard and teal.

The shoe comes up higher on my heel than previous shoes. It took a few runs to get my foot used to this, but it is all good now. This is my fifth pair of Glycerins!

I'm a longtime Glycerin fan and love the Glycerin 21! They support and cushion at the same time so it feels like I'm running on soft ground even when it's hard pavement. I wore these for a recent 70.3 triathlon and they felt like a dream on my tired feet for the run portion. The new colors are fun too!

Again the footbed has changed. I ordered these shoes online. I subsequently walked a 5k and lost a nail as a result of the change from last years shoe. It happened with a ghost shoe in the past as well. I think Im going to have to move away from Brooks and try New Balance since they have a larger toe area. I already size up a whole shoe size from my regular shoes.

Ok... so I switched from the Ghosts to try the Glycerin's as I've been needing more cushion and wanted to try a lower heel/toe drop. I got the coconut in wide and love the pale blue/orange color combo. Traditionally, with my flat feet and wide toe-bed, I like to feel more of the ground when I run and was concerned the cushion on these would simply be too high and too soft. Well, in a way, they are a little. Let me explain: I first ran on the treadmill with these (while away from home) with a 0.5 incline. They ran beautifully, no issues. Then I ran on the road and it felt a bit too think and heavy. Then I returned to NYC where I run on a gravel trail in Central Park and on my first run, I found it VERY awkward with zero toe-off to propel myself and a lot of fatigue. On the plus side, my knees, hips, back and neck were not in pain after my run which can sometimes happen (I'm so misaligned, lol) so I allowed myself to recover and then ran again today and it felt very different than the first difficult run. This time, while there still was little toe-off and the leg fatigue hitting me faster than I'm used, I realized that I could feel my calf muscles more elongated and my butt muscles activated and realized that the fatigue might have more to do with a different part of my body being activated that wasn't activated before. And a part of my body that I WANTED to work out more anyways, so maybe this was actually a good thing! Also, the run was far easier than my first attempt on the gravel trail. Then I ran on NYC concrete back to my apt and noticed how wonderful the cushion was this time, allowing me to run longer than usual when on concrete.
So... all this to say: I think my body is simply adjusting to the lower heel/toe drop, the higher cushioning (which may be harder for me to run in when I'm already physically exhausted, but it's certainly more protective) and I want to give this a few more weeks of running in Central Park to see if I stick with this or return to the Ghosts... Thank goodness for their 90-day return policy that allows you to actually try out the sneakers... Very grateful, Brooks!

These shoes are very soft if you need that. They are light, but feel bulky. They also made my feet feel hot, not sure why. I would try them on in store to see if you like them. I didnt have enough support, but Im flat footed, so my knees hurt after running. Brooks has a great return policy, so I wasnt worried. I just feel bad that it didnt work out. I went with the adrenaline GTS for more stability.

They are comfy and I can wear them 14+ hours at a time and not feel any pain or discomfort. I like the color but they show dirt very easily and I have to clean them after almost every time I wear them.
