I'm really trying to love these, but I don't think these are for me. Love the color and the cushion is great, but I think the toe box is a little to wide for me even at the standard Medium B because I haven't been able to run any miles without getting blisters or hot spots on my toes and side of my feet. Which is surprising to me since I have had a Glycerin pair before in the past and loved them! I thought maybe this particular shoe needed to be broken in some, but after a few months the hot spots and blisters aren't fun.

I have been a loyal Glycerin wearer for many years over many versions. While I appreciate how comfy and soft these are, unfortunately I have gotten blisters on mid and long distance runs in this model. I hope they fix this in the next version. Meanwhile, I'm stocking up on 20's and hoping for better when the 22 comes out.

Feels really unstable. The cushioning was so squishy my foot moved all over the place. Gave me blisters for the first time ever.

Im not a runner, but I do lots of other cardio and HIIT training. These are soft and comfortable. I love them. I previously had 2 Brooks Ghost models, and I really liked them. These are better, if a bit more bulky

I've worn Glycerins for years! Started with the Glycerin 12s and got the newest model every year after. Absolutely loved them- no "breaking in" time needed ever. So I was excited to get the new 21s this season. But OMG they were a horrible fit! Major heel rub (can you say instant blisters?) that I have never ever experienced. Sadly had to return them right away and will stick to Glycerin 20s. BUT ON A POSITIVE NOTE: BROOKS CUSTOMER SERVICE/RETURN PROCEDURE WAS TRULY FANTASTIC! So, no hesitation in purchasing from them. They were great with the return!

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I have several health issues and these shoes are perfect for me. I can wear them all day and my feet and legs dont hurt at the end of the day. These are my new favorites. I will definitely buy them again.

Definitely has the cushion in the heal. I stand on concrete floors all day. Was looking for something with comfort. These shoes take most of the pain away.

I have owned Brooks Glycerin for years off and on. I have plantar faciatis and overweight, so foot pain is real for me. I recently bought a 3rd pair of Glycerin 20s as they were on sale and noticed the 21's...ended up buying the new/expensive style as well. Am very glad I did - the 21's are extremely lightweight, cushioning, stable, and conform to my foot nicely. I'd buy another pair right now if it were available in colors I liked!

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. I have bunions and do HIIT style fitness at a gym. I didn't give it five stars because the colors need updating and more variety. Brooks give us more color options!

I found that since I need an insert the shoe doesnt offer enough support and stability.

lol Im a walker not a runner, but I have had ankle and foot issues so the amount of cushion in this shoe is great for my long walks.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Somewhat small. I bought these to compare to the Brooks Ghost Max. Both shoes size 10.5 (which is one full size larger than my normal shoe size). Even though the same size, compared to the Max, the Glycerin felt a little too short and a little too narrow. Not enough to go up a size, but just felt cramped. So for me they did not work. I decided to go with the Max because they were roomy enough all around

These shoes were a gift for my wife. This is the only running shoe she wears. She runs a minimum of 5 miles every day.

Got awful blisters on my bunions. Every time you take a step, the shoe sole corners dig in to your foot. Terrible design of the shoe sole.

Ive been a Glycerin girl since the 17s and have run thousands of miles in them over the years. The 21 is a nice upgrade on soft springy cushion. My only complaint is that they run a tad smaller in overall foot length than prior models. After losing 2 toenails during marathon training I went up a 1/2 size from my normal Glycerin running size. That solved the problem for me and I just ran the San Diego marathon in them. Id recommend trying on in person versus ordering if youre a loyal Glycerin runner like me!!

I was compelled to give a review based on an excellent customer service experience I had with a problem with a different shoe (and I would give the customer service 5 stars, or more if possible), I felt very well taken care of by Brooks and note the company and customer service agent went above and beyond to help me. As for this shoe, I picked it as a replacement to the now-defunct Levitate line as I needed a neutral support shoe with which to replace it. The Glycerin 21 certainly avoids a blister problem I had previously on the last iteration of Levitate#6 (sadly! The prior ones I tried including Levitate #2 and #5 were perfect) and this model is also quite roomy in the toe box (maybe a bit too roomy for my narrow feet). It also has an abundance of cushion. My critiques of the shoe (which I knew going into purchasing it but chose it anyway) are that in comparison to the Levitate, there is perhaps too much cushion and so it is a little clunky and I lack sensitivity of the ground. It's more of a walking than running shoe in this regard, I think it might hamper my speed if using for running, but I use it exclusively for long walks and at work, and it will fit my needs just fine for the season. It also kind of looks like a "clown shoe" due to so much rubber on the bottom/sides - I don't care about this myself, but just to note for those ordering this online. I'll probably end up gravitating toward a different pair for the future, but it will work well for me for now. Thanks again Brooks for your spectacular customer service!

I own a lot of running shoes and these are by far my favorite pair. As a nurse comfortable and supportive footwear is non-negotiable, these absolutely withstand a full shift and then some. I just ordered a second pair and will continue to purchase this style in the future if available. I wear a 7 in everything but the website encouraged me to size up to 7.5. The 7.5 fit perfectly and allow for thicker socks if I should do choose.
