I normally run in the Brooks Ghost, but Ive heard good things about the Glycerin so I wanted to try it. I really have enjoyed running in this shoe. It does have a lot of cushion as it is advertised to have, but I dont feel like it slows me down at all. I would definitely buy this shoe again.

I have been running in the Brooks Ghost for the past couple of years. I loved them. I read all the hype about the Glycerin and decided to give them a try. I have had them for 2 weeks now. Needless to say I will be going back to the Ghost 15. The cushioning is way overboard. It feels like you are running on a soaking wet sponge. They even make a squishing noise every time the heel makes contact. I find that these feel very sloppy if that makes any sense.

It is very evident that is one of the most comfortable shoes on the market. I have worn everything from Nike, reebok, Adidas, ASICS, Sacounys, 3 different styles of on-clouds and brooks are by far the most comfortable yet.

Great show, horrible laces. Cannot keep them tied no matter how tight I make them. Maddening!

Running novice here, I run my first 800 miles over the past 12 months and recently switched from On Cloudmonster to Brooks Glycerin 21. I was happy wit Cloudmonster, but wanted to try something else. Glycerin shoes felt like heaven on the very first try and I can't describe how good I feel running in these. Very happy customer from Czech Republic!

Nice shoe but the sizing was off so I had to return it. I checked with customer service and they indicated that the 21 model is a half size smaller and that I should go a half size larger. I wear a 13 and there is no half size larger. This is the second time a particular model has run small. Brooks should not let this happen. Sizes need to be consistent year after year. I've been running in Brooks for 20+ years but if this continues, will need to find another shoe.

I've been running in Glycerin the past 5 years or so and buy multiple pairs each season - for me, this is the best version to date. Compared to the 20, they are lighter and have even more cushioning, but not so much that they feel top wobbly. The tongue is better and softer, nearly perfect. The laces are a more spongey material and less like backpack straps. And the bottom profile of the sole is curvier which I think makes for a more pleasant gate. The drop feels great, slightly propelled forward. The cushioning around the heel is beefy and my foot doesn't move around at all. Overall just really solid. Okay so now that I've told you how great they are I want to make a quick pitch based around my one complaint if there is one - the color ways are still lacking and not up to par with the brilliant engineering of the shoe. Brooks, I would love to join your team designing new color ways - I promise greatness!

This is a fantastic shoe for running, walking or daily wear. For me it fits better than any Glycerin models in the past 5 or 6 years. I wear 10.5 Wide in all my shoes, this one too. My foot feels secure and supported, plenty of cushion. Im a pretty casual runner going 3-4 miles most days, a few half marathons each year. These are what Easy like Sunday Morning would be like if it was a shoe instead of a song. Just smooth, comfy and cozy. I am still begging Brooks to make more color options available in Wides. Ive been wearing Brooks since 2012 and every year have regular width envy. Please, please, please give us more wide options.

Simply the best. I love it because it fits perfectly. I have a wide toe box, small back of heel and supinate and after much trial and error by far the best shoe for my ankles and knees. Love them. I wear them all the time now.

My feet were in heaven when I first put on the shoes... and felt the cushy outsole. Have worn the shoes for 100 days and walked 325 miles... and I'm happy to report that there's been a little compression of the outsole, however, the shoes are comfortable, light-weight, very stable, no heel slippage, and best of all... hardly any wear of the outsole... maybe I can get a 1,000 miles out of the shoes by year's end.

I preferred a glycerin 20s over the 21s. I do not like the new increased stack height on a 21s. Ive almost twisted my ankle a couple times and I think they look like clown shoes on my feet. I return my pair and now Im wearing the ghost 16.

I would say these are just ok. They get the job done by being just soft enough, but they are not responsive at all. Kind of just a boring dead ride. To me, it doesnt really feel like Im running in premium running shoe.

Really comfortable and stable! Even more cushioned than my old Glycerin 19s! I also have a pair of all black Glycerin 21s that I rotate with these.

I decided to give the new Glycerin 21 model a try during my run. I have been a die-hard Ghost user for years now so I wasnt looking to stray from what works for me. I was surprised how comfortable and supportive these shoes are on my feet. I have worn them for several 3-5 milers and have had no issues. These are now is my regular running shoe rotation.

I've been running on the Ghost for the past 6-7 years. I decided to try something with more cushioning. I'm 70 and have been running for 40 years. As I've gotten older and Slower. More cushion make sense. These shoes are great very comfortable, they just glide. The toe box is a bit wider than the Ghost, but it doesn't hinder the performance. I would prefer a bit smaller toe box. They fit true to size. Glad I bought these. would recommend them to anyone who wants more cushion.

Great shoe, not as comfortable out of the box like the old version, but after breaking in(which took 50 miles for me) they were very comfortable. Also after the first day a crease appeared in the right shoe which bothered me for a while and then later another crease on the left shoe, I ended up getting used to it and I like the shoe a lot now. Would be cool if they fixed this and then it would be a 5 star.

Out of the box these take much more breaking in than the Glycerin 20, or any of my other Brooks sneakers. Once you break these in though they are great! Weird issue with both pairs of my 21s is there is an odd crease in both toe boxes, Nothing that annoys me enough to drop a star but obvious defect as ive seen a few people say the same thing. Overall, I love these but think I order the 20 and even my Ghost 15.
