The cushiness of this shoe is amazing! I gave it 3 stars because I have to stop and tie my shoes several times a day when wearing these. I never had that problem with my adrenalines. For that reason, these will sit in the closet when I go out to walk.

I work valet, the shoes are great and super comfy for running. But if you stand around a lot they break easily. The heels gave way after 3 weeks, being how pricy these are Im going to wear them till I get my moneys worth. Going to find a better shoe with heel support next.

I have had many iterations of the glycerin and the transcend before that. I usually change them out 3-4 times a year from the mileage I put on them. Unfortunately, the 21 seems to have a smaller toe box than all previous versions I have had. My 4th and 5th toes on my right foot were crushed and 1 day of light use caused a blister between the toes. I am sending them back which saddens me. They have typically been such great shoes for me for almost 10 years now.

Perfect balance between softness and responsiveness and provides good support. Like the breathable upper mesh material. Fits perfectly. Like the traction provided in all conditions. Only wish there were more colors to chose from.

Very comfortable but so squeaky! Fun on pavement but any surface thats smooth these things are so annoying. Didnt think that would be something that would ever bother me in a shoe until these guys.

I went up a half size. Fits well. Wide size gave more room for my very flat feet. lots of cushion. looks like it will hold up well. Tried on several other brands but these were best fit for flat feet.

I wore another brand for many years, but recently got a new custom orthotic, and the shoes no longer fit. I tried Glycerin 21s and am very happy with them. They're very comfortable, with plenty of cushioning--not as much as my previous brand, but definitely enough. There's also a springiness that sort of propels me forward. I had to go up half a size from my previous shoes to get the right fit.

Years ago I switched to Hoka because Brooks sizing changed for the worse (for me), Cushioning was not the same either. I have foot issues that need a lot of cushioning and arch support, not to mention plantar fasciitis. The Hoka had cushion but not much support for my issues. I decided to try Brooks again because their fit was better back then, and Hoka quality/lifespan and sizing changed recently. Enter the new Glycerin 21. The sizing is still different (I wear a 9 2E usually, but in current Brooks I wear a 10 D. The toebox is wide enough and very comfortable. Cushioning is much better in the 21 than the 19's I had, although I would add a bit more in the forefoot. I'd also add better laces, these are too thin. Fit is perfect, ventilation is great. No heel pain or arch pain so far. These work better for me now and I reach for them instead of my Hoka's. I'll get another pair as a backup soon. I always loved the Glycerin until things changed. I'm glad they are making them better now.

A firm secure fit when laced up. The amount of cushion you feel when walking or running. I only had them for three weeks I put about 60 miles on them so far. Very satisfied .

I like the fit and feel of these shoes and while walking on flat surfaces they feel comfortable and cushioned. The issue I have arises while walking on streets. Most, but not all, streets are built with a crown, usually from a high spot in the center to lower areas on both sides to force water from rain off the streets. When walking on the street, which is most of my walking, the shoes, particularly the one closest to the curb, do not have enough support to keep my heels from feeling poorly supported and it feels like my heels are rotating towards the curb. Other than that issue, I like these shoes. Were it not for that problem I would give these shoes a five star rating.

I just completed 855.1 miles ( Garmin Connect tracked ) in the Glycerin 20, what a great shoe. Now I am on to the 21's. I have three runs on them so far.......and they are awesome! Fit is great, cushion is a tad more than the 20's were which is a perfect addition. I had been going back and forth from Ghosts to Glycerin's. The 21's are the Ghost fit with a little more cushion. Only change I would make is a gusseted tongue, and that's it. This is an easy 5 Stars. Billy, Tennessee

As an avid runner, Ive recently upgraded my shoe game to the Brooks Glycerin 21, and let me tell you, its been a game-changer for my long runs. Having transitioned from the Glycerin 20, I can confidently say that the 21st edition is a remarkable improvement in every aspect.

Best Glycerin yet. Added cushion in the nitrogen infused soles is great. Also happy you have returned to cotton strings instead of nylon.
