Was only a wide. Not an extra wide. Where your toes actually go in pointed & narrow

Toe box not as wide as expected. Felt short also.

Tight in heel cup area

Too small. Very uncomforable on my foot.

Felt like I was walking on a foam wedge.

Didn’t like the style. Wide fitting didn’t feel like wide fitting. Will be returning

These shoes are at least half a size too small. I also don't like the very white color. They're going back.

Have worn Brooks Addiction for years & decided to try NB as heard the brand has a wide toe box which I need for my totally messed up feet. Bunions, don't have the tendon that lifts my right big toe, and more. Wear an orthotic for "drop foot" because of the missing tendon--difficult to find a shoe in one size that will fit both feet & accommodate the orthotic. This NB had the width needed but too much heel slippage on left foot, even using a runners' knot, which works with Brooks. Laces much shorter than those that come with Brooks but believe replacing with longer ones would not have made a difference as too few eyelets. Not enough support to keep my ankles from pronating, so back to Brooks. Nice shoe, wish it had fit.

These shoes squeaked with every step. I could not keep them.

shoe was a tiny tiny shoe! like a child's shoe. No way this was a 9 womens. Error in labeling or manufacturing. It didnt even fit my child who wears a Youth 5

These looked terrible--a silly "nonslip" white tag threaded onto the bottom of the laces, and made the foot look huge. UGH

Extremely tight. 10W. I feel like I'm falling backwards in these.

Too narrow at the instep.

The toebox was very narrow at the end of the shoe resulting in my little toes being smashed. This does not seem like an SL-2 last, which normally fits me.

The shoe was super nice but unfortunately they sent me a size 10 in womens not in men’s. So I had to return them.

My feet fit New Balance 9.5 EE ... all the time; in fact, I have one pair that I still wear that is a size 9 D. This Fresh Foam X 840v1 leather is not true to size. Both too short and too narrow to be a true 9.5 EE. So disappointed. I will not recommend Fresh Foam to anyone.

Severely disappointed that the shoes turned out to be too small, despite the fact that I am the proud owner of five New Balance shoes, and the one pair that I have that is 1/2 size smaller than I requested and 2 widths more narrow fit my feet much better than the shoes that I just received. Therefore, I need to return these and try again...

I have worn New Balance for years. I have had these shoes for one month and the toe on the right shoe has already started pealing back from the leather. I threw out all my labels with the box because I have never had a problem with their shoes before, so I can't send them back. I can let everyone know that just because you pay this much for shoes does not make them flawless! I will buy New Balance again, because they have such good support, but you can bet I will keep my paperwork next time in case I have defective shoes ever again.

Large heel slips no matter how tight. Feels like wearing Frankenstein shoes. Poor shape. Poor fit. Poor cushioning.

I could not wait to get to NB store to try this shoe. Big mistake again NB. Heel slippage just like in their 847's. They said cushioned? Where? Bottom of shoe is hard as a rock. Don't waste your money.
