Light but very durable! Excellent boot!

These boots are awesome, very little break in period and they are very comfortable!

They fit as expected. Comfortable and true to size. Living in an area where it's snowy and icy. The vibram soles grip much better.

Compared to the Mountain 600, the Evo needs considerable break-in time; especially where the boot bends at the toe.

The perfect boot

I have long appreciated Danner boots, and my recent purchase of the Mountain 600 Evo 4.5" in Topsoil Brown has reinforced my preference. Danner continues to impress with the outstanding quality, comfort, and durability of their boots. They served me well on my latest camping trip in Alaska, effortlessly handling the muddy and winding trails.

I have not had a chance to try them out on the trail, but I have wore them around and they seem to fit perfect and are very comfortable. I also think they are a very good looking boot.

Run longer than other styles of Danner boots

Comfortable, fit well (usually take either 10.5 or 11; these are 11), have done fine on the short (<7 miles) hikes I've used them on so far.

Too big

Fantastic fit - DPDX last is wider than others. Feels firm, looks great. I am a long-term fan of Danner boots in all settings - hiking, travel, winter traction.

Light weight, comfortable, adequate traction, relatively easy to keep clean

Good boots but the arch support leaves a bit to be desired. I have wear additional arch support

The Mountain 600 Evo's are top quality out of the box. I have owned several pair of the "standard" Mountain 600's and these blow them out of the water as far as quality goes and the little price difference. You can tell the difference in quality of materials Instantly. I hope they last longer!

Great fitting boot and very comforting to wear.

Boots are very comfortable. Rated down because the first time tying the string holding the lace to the tongue broke loose. The size was a little big also. Otherwise I think they are going to work just fine. I like the looks.

Great boots!

I love these boots. Definitely will buy from Danner again. My only small gripe is that they feel just a little bit less snug than previous pairs of hiking boots Ive owned. I generally like my boots to fit pretty snugly, and I think I probably could have gone a size or half-size down with this boot. Other than that, the boots are amazing! They perform wonderfully on the trail, and I will be wearing them to hike Mt. Washington later this summer! Thanks Danner!

Overall a really comfy and grippy hiking boot. Also very light and breathable as well. I'm not a hiking boot expert and I mostly hike in cowboy boots or whatever I'm normally wearing, but these are freaking amazing feeling and they handle steep loose rock like your feet are glued to the mountain. Would highly recommend

Little thread like thingy on top the tongue that segregates the shoe lace ripped when I put the boots on.
