I haven't worn Easy Spirit shoes in years, but I remember their walking shoes always fit well, so I was disappointed to find that the shoe was a half-size too short for my 7.5 N foot. Will return them and re-order in an 8N

This shoe was for my 99 plus 10 month old mother. She has this exact Easy Spirit shoe that she has worn for many years. This shoe was to be a replacement. However this shoe slides off her foot with every step. Both shoes were made in China. The shoe size printed in this shoe is 7M. Her old shoe (identical looking in every way) is printed as 7B/2AA. There seems to be a change in sizing. The heel in this shoe is too wide. Very disappointing as the shoe is well made and exactly what my mom wanted. Unfortunately, it must be returned as the shoe is too big as sized.

These are nice shoes, but ran a little large. I purchased a size 7M and I could easily put my index finger between the heel of my foot and the heel of the shoe--Not sure if a half size would work---going on vacation and no time to play with size.

I've been looking for some comfortable shoes for city walking, etc. Most sneakers seem to have little if any arch support so I was glad to find these -- until I tried them on. They are more appropriate for exercise walking than more general uses, and are not stylish at all. I'm approaching senior citizen status but I don't want to look like a little old lady. Why can't we get sneakers that look sharp, have wide insteps, and decent arch support? Anyway, these have gone back. The search continues.

Nice looking lace up shoe that does not look too clunky. However, I found the toe box too narrow.

These were too wide in the heel and there was very little arch support.

I wore these shoes for years but now the toe area is too narrow and heal too wide. I wear a 11 N and length is good but just doesn't fit.

I am very disappointed with this shoe. I bought it because it was comfortable, but have discovered it has no substance to it. The sole is so soft it seems like a bedroom slipper and the body is so soft it is stretching way out. There is no support in this shoe. i wear it around the house but don't feel comfortable wearing it to walk outside.

I wear a 6WW in ES Romy which are plenty roomy. This shoe in 6WW is too narrow and has no arch support. It is lightweight but will never fit a wide foot

OK shoes but my feet was sore after my 10 hours shift.

My heel slipped so much my socks wouldn't stay up. I knew in an hour these were not the shoes for me. I have tumors on the bottom of my foot and nerve damage on the top so finding a shoe that feels good is getting almost impossible. Unfortunately this one was not it.

wear a size 6 and have a very narrow heel but regular width across the front of my foot and a bit of a high arch. I was looking for a lightweight pair of walking shoes as my primary shoes for a trip overseas. It is very hard to find narrow shoes for small feet. I ordered a 6 2A and was very hopeful that these shoes would do the trick. Unfortunately I was disappointed. They are very lightweight and do have some cushion but, for my feet, they have no support. Also, the narrow is not just in the heel but also across the width of the toe box. The length of the shoe felt fine and laced up my heel did not slip but. However, even if I had bought these for normal use (meaning not walking all day every day), the toe box across was just too narrow as to be uncomfortable. I was also looking for something that would not be slippery in the rain. The middle section of the outer sole has a slight wavy pattern for that purpose, but I'm not convinced that they would offer much traction. I am sure that these shoes would be great for some women. They just were not the ticket for me so they will be getting returned. I ended up getting a pair of lightweight Trotters boots in narrow which were fantastic.

I thought this shoe was okay length-wise for the size I ordered. It felt very roomy for a Med and even with a heavy sock the heel slipped a lot. If it hadn't been a lace-up I would have just walked out of it. But I don't think a smaller size would have worked because the length seemed okay. It is just flat on the inside -- no arches -- but if you have an orthotic you probably don't care.

I didn't like the way they looked on my foot; plus, they pressed down hard on my big toes. They're going back.

The shoe was too wide in both heels and slipped with every step I took. Very disappointing. I liked their looks!

These shoes were okay, but I thought they looked a bit old fashioned. They also seemed to run a bit who although the width was perfect for my very narrow foot.

I'm disappointed in this shoe. The "w" seems accurate all over except in the heel which is more like a "www". The back of the shoe gaps out in an ugly way. Didn't send back as they will do for yard shoes but are pretty expensive for that. Can't imagine what their designers were thinking.

Looking for a pair of black leather walking oxfords like this. These would be perfect, if they fit me right, but they are too loose in the heel, and too tight in the toe box.

I have worn these sneakers for years. They are light weight, and comfortable right out of the box. The only complaint is that they get out of shape extremely fast. Due to the comfort, I guess I don't seem to mind, as I have very touchy feet.

This might say it all...my 90-year old mother thought these shoes looked a bit matronly! She's keeping them because they fit and are comfortable, but she preferred the Propet Washable Walkers.

Okay for quick errands, but not for long walks, or standing on your feet for long periods.

Needed an 8.5WW. Wanted a more streamlined design rather than those big clunky running shoes. It was difficult to rate how true to size these are because I do need the extra width in the front, widest part of the foot. But the shoe is starting to get out of shape already because it seems they are also wide in the upper part of the shoe and ankle area. Would prefer more support in those areas. Also, the laces keep coming untied easily. But I am grateful someone makes an extra wide in a tennis shoe.

These shoes fit my feet a little weird. They fit, but at the same time the heel was snug. Almost like I was stepping on the back of the heel rather than the heel wrapping around my food. Maybe they're just a tad too short? I got these in a size 9.5 WW. I have wide feet and plantar fasciitis.

I did not want heavy, thick soled sneakers even though I have the worst feet imaginable. So I ordered these shoes with high hopes. The inner sole is comfortable, but the toes are tight. I have severe bunions but the rest of my feet are not wide. Generally a WW is really not wide enough unless the shoe front is wider than the back. This shoe's front comes to a point. After wearing them a few hours they become unwearable for me.
