Fit perfectly, even with orthotic insert. This is no easy task as I've tried many other brands/models without this being the case.

I love the shoe overall. Very comfy sole and not too squishy. Feedback: Make the colors a bit more fun, so it will get more respect. I like the shoe a lot though.

I have a rheumatic disease that's really been hard on the physical structure of my right foot. My life significantly improved when I made the decision to invest in quality footwear many years ago. For me, no other shoe brand even comes close. Shoes are so important that I typically buy three pairs at a time, and I always choose Brooks.

Very comfortable shoe with lots of cushion to keep feet from fatiguing easily.

I've use Brooks Ghost for running since 2017 & will never go back with Skechers. I've finally tried Ghost Max & love it! It's softer & has more cushion to reduce impact on my feet & knees. I can feel much difference in my 2 month old Ghost 16 compared to Ghost Max. Only jog 1-2 times per week for 1 mile / walk 2 miles per week & weigh 180 lbs, so the cushion makes time on feet much more comfortable.

Outstanding quality. I use mine for walking and work. Recently on vacation this is all I wore. So comfortable. Great support.

Really great shoe! Got my last pair used/like new and took them 250 miles. So I got another pair. Nice wide toe box, breathable yet surprisingly water resistant, lots of cushions and support, good tred, outer part of shoe hardly looks warn after 250 miles, but support is starting to go (warn for road running only so they wear faster). I like that it has a much lower drop than other shoes which greatly helped with IT band syndrome back when it was bothering me (doesn't bother me anymore). They are a bit heavy and slower of a shoe, but I still can keep a decent pace and I find the shoes are very easy on your joints when going for long runs. ~ A Marathon Runner

Literally a game changer! I love running but after surgery on the ball of my foot, I found I really couldn't run anymore without flare ups. On top of that, I was getting shin splints and knee pain. Since buying these shoes I've been able to run everyday and have ZERO pain! It was a bit of an adjustment as I think they were changing my form but it's helped dramatically and I'm so happy with them!

So far they feel better than the regular Ghost, and I've been running in Brooks Ghost since the Ghost Six. The Max is a bit lighter, and feel like they have a little more cushioning.

Never worn Brooks ghost max before, so went with recommendation to go up half size. Excellent suggestion because the fit is perfect and would have been too small otherwise. Lots of support and cushioning for my feet (I have bunions). Read an article that stated this shoe is liked by older women (I'm 77) and I agree.

Finally got to try my new ghost max and they are great. They are great for plantar fasciitis which I get now and then. So far no issues with it. Love my new ghost max!

I tried the Ghost Max as an option to therapeutic shoes that I must wear for walking and exercise. They are actually better than the therapeutic shoes for my problem. I also tried the Ghost Max 2 thinking they would be better than the Ghost Max. For me, The Ghost Max 2 didn't work at all. The Ghost Max 2 is not the same shoe as Ghost Max.

This will be the 665th review of the Ghost Max, but I will add my two cents anyway. Wow! Just Wow! I've been wearing Adrenalines for several years and was quite happy with them. But then I turned 80 and had hip surgery. The orthopedist told me the best PT was walking. Prior to surgery, I was walking 4 miles every other day (with a good amount of discomfort). After surgery, the hip discomfort was solved but the foot/ankle/knee/leg discomfort persisted. I decided to try the Ghost Max. I've only had them a short time but the very noticeable difference that they've made is incredible. After years of running and then years of walking I could easily tell when it was time for new shoes. New shoes always made a difference. But the difference that the Ghost Max made was so large that I was elated to the point of writing this review. If you are in need of cushioning, as I apparently was, the Ghost Max could be your answer for those nagging foot/ankle/knee pains. I'll be back to my 4 mile walks in no time!!

I have a Taylor's bunion on my right foot. These are amazing for the bunion... lots of room and doesn't irritate the bunion. They're extremely comfortable. My bunion is very happy. That's a lot of bunion references...but if my bunion is happy, I'm happy. Fiddlesticks... there I go again. If you have (you know what) you need these shoes.
