Wore it several times now. Great quality cable knit sweater. The design pattern won't come loose and blur the look. It's warm and comfortable to wear. Wear it over a button down shirt to elevate your fashion status. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

It's very comfortable and warm and well-made. It's a generous cut. I normally wear an XL but ordered an L and it fits well. LLBean clothes tend to run a bit large.

Fits true to form. I'm looking forward to wearing it next fall when temps dip. It's a color that every guy should own and goes well with casual or semi formal attire.

I've had this sweater about a week and I'm wearing it for the 3rd time. It feels like a Saturday sweatshirt but looks good enough to wear to work (I'm a teacher). The color is gorgeous--it does have little specks of colorful thread that other reviews have mentioned. I think that adds to the classiness of the sweater. It did shrink some. I wear between a small and medium in sweaters and went with the medium. I wore it before I washed it and had to fold the cuffs back. But after washing it fits perfectly.

Warm, soft and put together very well. Size was right on the money.

I am an older lady with long arms, and women's long-sleeves tops don't work for me (unless the come in Tall sizes. So I tried this men's sweater in a small and I love it. Perfect sleeve length, lovely soft hand, beautiful knit pattern. I feel so fancy when I wear it. I got the off-white (ivory?) color and of course it goes with everything.

I noticed that many people commented on the donegal sweaters for having excessive fibers on the weave. I copied the following from Wikipedia: While the weavers in County Donegal produce a number of different tweed fabrics, including herringbone and check patterns, the area is best known for a plain-weave cloth of differently-coloured warp and weft, with small pieces of yarn in various colours woven in at irregular intervals to produce a heathered effect. Such fabric is often labelled as "donegal" (with a lowercase "d") regardless of its provenance. I also inquired from an Irish Friend, and he told me that the mills had very bad air quality making it difficult for the workers to breath. As a result, the pieces would fall into the woven material. Thus, this identifying trait has been noted as donegal.

A beautiful sweater. The only problem is that when we opened up the shrink wrap, we found it was full of little white lint balls that are going to take a good little bit of work to remove with the sticky roller. The Marino wool socks are a gift for my wife. I'm happy to say that she is very pleased and when she's happy, we're all happy!!! Thanks

I gave as Christmas gift to son in law. Looked great in picture of him and he liked to soft greenish color. I hope my daughter gives some care to laundering it!!

I have actually purchased 5 of these sweaters within the past month. They are extremely well made, warm and comfortable. I did have to return the burgundy one due to it looked like it was covered in lint. I would still highly recommend these sweaters.

I'm happy with this purchase. It's nice and thick, and feels well made. The flecks (green and red in my gold colored sweater) and much more noticeable in person than in the picture, but I like it. I'm 6'3", 190 lbs, 35" arms and the large fits perfectly.
