I got the fisherman's crew sweater for my husband as a gift and he loves it. The fit is just right and he likes the weight of it, not too heavy and not to warm. He's been wearing it a lot and it looks great! I might need to get another one for him next year, in a different color.

Gave it to my brother for Christmas gift and he loves it!

Exactly what I was hoping for. As a woman, I love men's sweaters way better than the women's. They seem to be softer & fit more consistently. Only down size is the price. Have to save all year for one sweater, but it lasts!

I bought this sweater online. Even though I expected to be pleased, this sweater is really well designed and made. It's heavy in weight but, being cotton, it is comfortable to wear while inside or out. I love the cream color I bought. I get compliments on the sweater everytime I wear it.

I have three other sweaters in this style, but in different colors. Now I have a comfortable sweater in colors that go with any and every other color I happen to wear that day when I want another layer. They fit wonderfully and look great. I get compliments whenever I wear one, and I wear one often.

I actually bought this for me, a female. They don't carry this in women's so I bought a men's small. I usually take a medium in women's sizes.

A wonderful sweater.Warm rugged and just plain gorgeous for a fisherman's sweater.The navy blue is a knockout. I give it a big thumbs up.The small was true to size.I'm 5 feet 5 inches and 135 lbs. I wear this sweater on the coldest of days and as a mid layer.

Thought I would try this "man's" sweater for myself and loved the fit and style. In recent years , I have been wearing a ladies large, but I got this sweater in small, and it fits perfectly, I have always liked the fisherman knit style, but I had typically preferred wool. The cotton in this sweater is quite substantial, and it, so far, it is keeping its shape. It has not been laundered, as yet. The green color is very pretty, although the "brown paper bag" color flecks are a bit unusual. I still like it. It's a nice weight sweater for the fall and indoor events, but I will most likely be going for wool for cooler times.

I'm thrilled with the quality and appearance of this sweater! I love the pattern and the lighter aqua ("Juniper?") color with the darker "Dobby" flecks. I can't wear wool (sensitive skin) but this heavier weight cotton sweater will keep me warm without being too warm. I bought this men's sweater hoping it would also fit me as a woman who prefers a longer length. It's just a bit wide through the shoulders on me, but fitted (stretchy) through the low hip which allows for layering and some shrinkage (I haven't washed it yet but in my experience significant shrinkage is very unlikely to happen IF washed/ dried per instructions on LL Bean's tag.) The cuffs can easily be turned back making the arm length perfect for me. (For reference, I wear a women's XL in LL Bean's "slightly fitted" tee.)

I have not purchased from L L Bean for years so I decided to buy just one sweater to see if they still made a high quality product and to see what size to order since I have gained some weight. I got the size right; the color is beautiful; the quality is excellent! Perfect!!! So, I bought two more. I could not be more pleased!!!

Soft, hangs well, not itchy, can span multiple uses. I'm 5'8, 155 female, athletic build, average bust. I got a large because I prefer a roomy cozy fit. If you're around my size and want a more sized fit, the medium would be fine.

This is a good sweater. Purchased after trying on.

This is a quality product. The color is amazing. It is one of those forever sweaters, they never go out of style.

I love the green color and overall fit; it's classy. Wish it came with buttons in this color.
