Attractive warm coat. Pleased that it's wind and water resistant. Not bulky. Good length.

Good length, light weight coat, fits true to size. In the northeast winter I will get good use when on warmer winter days and colder days where I can layer under and when I'm not outside alot. I like the length of the coat and the fit, not bully.

This is a great lightweight and stylish jacket for cool weather. I haven't worn it in very low (sub 30) temps yet, but it will layer easily with my bulkier Winter coat if needed. I would recommend two improvements to the design: a detachable and/or adjustable hood and at least one pocket inside the jacket.

I live the style! Had to exchange for the next size up (chose the size based on measurement) because it was a little tight in the shoulders. Would recommend going to the next size up.

I really love the lightweight fabric of this coat. It's still too early to tell how warm it will be when the temperatures go down. I like the two way zipper, good for sitting in the car.One star off for not having zippered side pockets, please include those in future versions of this coat...Great navy color....

Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this jacket. The color blue is great and goes with everything. I like how long this jacket is, the hood and 2-way zipper. My only complaint is that the pockets don't have zippers and there is no pocket inside the jacket.

I ordered a medium size, but chest area was too tight. Returned the medium for a large, which was much better fit, except the sleeves are very long.
I love the comfort of this coat and it keeps me very warm out by the Northern California cool-weather and windy beaches.
Would have loved to have a snap by the hood area, and additional snaps up and down the jacket next to the zipper. Most of my other LLBean jackets do have zippers and snaps. Sometimes I just need to snap the jacket closed at the top; sometimes I need the zipper all the way zipped up, depending on the weather.

It's comfortable & definitely don't wear on a cold day. Have to wear something heavy underneath
And doesn't have a curve to it, just straight.

Not as warm as I was hoping, but more silky and breathable.

I've had this Mountain Classic Puffer coat for a couple of months now, in the Gunmetal Gray. I'm 61, and for me, the fit of the large size is great. I love the coat length (I'm 5'7"), and sleeve length - I have long arms and the sleeves have room to spare. I have 44" hips, and there is enough room to be comfortable. The two-way zipper is appreciated, although the bottom of it can get stuck in the fabric if I'm not careful. The coat's warmth is good for my Northern California location, as long as I'm also wearing a sweater or lightweight fleece, but I'd probably need something warmer underneath for really cold weather. The jacket is lightweight, so it will make a good travel coat. Overall, pleased with my purchase and the sale price I received.

I had my reserves about this jacket before purchasing but I'm glad I bought it. It looks puffier in the picture than it actually is. It's super lightweight yet so warm! I do wish the length of the jacket was a little shorter and I'm 5'7". It goes down to about upped/med thigh. It's true to size and has room for you to comfortably wear a thick sweater underneath and not look too bulky. The arms are the perfect length. I would also have liked the pockets to be zipped rather than just one snap. More pockets inside or out would have been nice as well.

I like the weight and length of the jacket. It's not down filled so I think it's a bit overpriced.

Love the style of this jacket, but it is much more light weight than expected. Very little "fill". More suited for fall/spring in the Midwest.

Love this jacket, it has a lot of warmth for being so thin and lightweight. Great style too! Only reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is because I wish there was an inner zip pocket to put my phone or credit cards. The only other pockets are the one button side pockets. Otherwise awesome!

It's the perfect length . I wish the pockets had zippers though . I bought the grey and it's a great shade of grey , almost a dark blue. I wish it were a little heavier but it's good for our weather that's been above zero.I get lots of compliments on it. I would recommend this coat.

The material is thin and the jacket feels flimsy, but it is surprisingly warm. The light weight though should be good for travel as it rolls up well and fits in a carry on. It runs a bit small, I recommend sizing up, especially if you have a chest. Overpriced for what it is.

The order took a long time to arrive. I realized once I ordered it that I ordered the wrong size. The only option for exchange was to send it back and enclose the paper requesting the exchange. I have not heard from LL Bean nor received the jacket in the correct size. LL Bean did charge me for the jacket. I'm hoping it's just taking a long time and eventually I will get the exchange. Otherwise, I will contact LL Bean for my money back. I wish the exchange process happened online. TBD on whether or not it's a good jacket!

This coat is warm enough for 40 temps, which is what I was looking for. I ordered a medium which is my usual size and it is slightly large. It looks boxy.

As other reviews mention this coat is super thin. I finally had a chance to wear the coat and it did not keep me as warm as I would have expected. I have had other "warmer" rated coats from LL Bean over the years and find them good for winter temps when it's not snowing. I wore a vest under this jacket and was still feeling chilly while at an outdoor event in the dark. It is a nice looking coat but will not be a go to outside of the late fall temps that New England gets.

Not up to L.L.Bean standards. The pockets did not have zippers, just a central snap which is difficult to use when you have arthritis. It also wasn't warm enough for me even in 40 degree weather. If the coat had been half the cost, I might have kept it. Because it wasn't, I returned it.

Awesome lightweight but warm, wind breaking coat. Perfect for fall or spring. Deep enough pockets but only thing to make it better would be a zipper pocket on inside or outside zipper pockets

The fabric is lightweight and warm. However, the fit is tight in the shoulders, which makes layering difficult. As others have said, the zippers are a nightmare. There are two on one side and they dont work well. I tried a large and a medium size and neither worked for me.
